Chapter 629: Clone, Father and Daughter

"If I'm not mistaken, this should be the last place Wu Hu appeared."

Wu Hao thought to himself. In his perception, this was indeed the last place Wu Hu had appeared, meaning she had vanished from the Divine Realm after entering the portal before him.

After a moment's thought, Wu Hao directly reached his hand into the space before him. In the next second, a powerful suction force immediately tried to pull him in completely, but with just a slight exertion of strength, Wu Hao pulled his hand back out.

After withdrawing his hand, Wu Hao began planning his next move. What he could confirm now was that the spatial rift before him led to an unknown destination. When his hand entered, it severed all connection with the Divine Realm; even he couldn't see what lay on the other side.

This meant that if he wanted to find Wu Hu, he would need to cross over directly. However, if he went to the other side, Wu Hao wasn't sure if he could return.

After much deliberation, Wu Hao ultimately chose not to take the risk. After all, with a bit more time, he could restore himself to the Heavenly Emperor Realm, and by then, he might be able to investigate clearly.

However, he couldn't ignore Wu Hu's safety either. So, in the next moment, Wu Hao sat cross-legged before the spatial rift and began forging his Clone.

A Clone is essentially another self, possessing its own consciousness and acting according to its own will, yet offering no resistance to the main body and obeying it completely.

Before long, another 'Wu Hao' appeared before Wu Hao.

After Wu Hao extracted a portion from his Divine Soul and infused it into the Clone, the Clone's eyes gained their own unique luster.

"Greetings, main body!"

'Wu Hao' addressed Wu Hao with utmost reverence in his tone.

"Mm, go. Investigate Wu Hu's situation over there."

With a wave of his hand, Wu Hao gave the order.

The Clone nodded in acknowledgment. In the next second, it approached the spatial rift, extended its hand, and allowed the rift to pull it into the world on the other side. Wu Hao could no longer sense his Clone.

After completing this, Wu Hao turned and hurried back toward South Sky. He was determined to see what kind of powerhouse had reincarnated as his own descendant.

Meanwhile, within the Five Elements Holy Land, Wu Qingyu stood before Wu Li, holding her child, her head bowed, her entire posture appearing somewhat cautious.

"You… what am I to say about you? It's not that I don't want you to marry, but before you do, you should at least let me know and seek my opinion."

Wu Li spoke to Wu Qingyu with a look of disappointment. Anyone who learned their prized cabbage had been taken by a pig would be as furious as Wu Li.

"But Father, you haven't returned for a long time, and I couldn't contact you. That's why I had to resort to this. Besides, Tian Yu is truly a good man; he won't let me down."

Wu Qingyu lifted her head to look at Wu Li, her expression firm and utterly serious.

Seeing this, Wu Li became even more resolute. Glaring, he said, "Whether he's a good man or not, I'll test him myself."

"Sigh, anyway, you should rest first. I won't kill him. If he's not worthy of you, I'll make him leave. If he is worthy, then… he can marry into our Wu Family."

Seeing his daughter's pitiful, tearful expression, Wu Li ultimately couldn't bring himself to speak harshly. He sighed and spoke.

Hearing that her father might make Tian Yu leave, Wu Qingyu immediately grew anxious and was about to say something when she noticed Qin Wan frantically signaling to her from the side. Having lived with her mother for so many years, Wu Qingyu understood her extremely well. After a brief moment of confusion, she grasped her mother's meaning.

She knelt directly before Wu Li, her expression resolute, and said, "Father, if you won't let me be with Tian Yu, then I'd rather leave the Wu Family!"

"You! You…!"

Hearing this, Wu Li's face filled with anger, but in the end, he couldn't bring himself to say anything harsh. He sighed and, with a wave of his hand, placed his daughter into a spatial prison, suspending her there.

"Husband, what are you doing now? Qingyu has grown up; isn't it normal for her to have her own decisions?"

Qin Wan, standing nearby, sighed and tried to console him.

But Wu Li sighed and shook his head. "I know that, of course. It's just… I can't bear to let her go."

As he spoke, Wu Li sighed and gazed out at the vast Xuanyuan Realm, his heart filled with complexity.

He had once thought that so-called familial bonds held little meaning, but after becoming a father, he finally understood this feeling. Letting his daughter marry felt like taking a knife to his own heart.

Seeing this, Qin Wan said nothing more. She believed that given time, her husband would come to accept it.

Not dwelling on the matter further, Wu Li remembered something and turned to Qin Wan to ask.

"By the way, the Natural Domain hasn't been affected by the Forbidden Power, has it?"

Bringing up serious matters, Qin Wan's expression turned grave. She shook her head and said, "Although many Dao Domains outside the Natural Domain have been affected by the Forbidden Power, our Natural Domain, with several God-Emperor Peak experts stationed here, remains unaffected."

Hearing this, Wu Li's expression grew even more solemn. He hadn't expected several God-Emperor Peak experts to be stationed within the Natural Domain.

But he quickly realized these were likely subordinates of his Great-Grandfather. Remembering his Great-Grandfather's immense power, Wu Li's heart grew even heavier.

"So, what Realm does Great-Grandfather actually exist at?"

Now, Wu Li could no longer fathom his Great-Grandfather's Realm, but he clearly understood in his heart that if his Great-Grandfather discovered his true identity, trouble would be inevitable. Thus, Wu Li had decided not to meet his Great-Grandfather until he broke through to the God Emperor Realm. Once he restored himself to the God Emperor, the traces of his Reincarnation would be undetectable in his aura, and he could then face him with a clear conscience.

However, what Wu Li didn't expect was that Wu Hao was currently on his way back to the Xuanyuan Realm.

Elsewhere, within the Heavy Water Divine Realm, after much hardship, Su Qiaoran finally reached the depths of the Heavy Water Sea.

Upon arriving, the compass in Su Qiaoran's hand stopped spinning. In the next second, the compass slowly floated out of her hand, hovered in the air, and emitted a faint blue glow. A Space Gate gradually materialized from the void—clearly, the Legacy of the Heavy Water Divine Lord.
