Chapter 65: Infiltration (6)
The massive elite forces of Red Abyss surged toward Star-Moon Manor like a tide, with aerial mechanical units and ground armored vehicles arranged in perfect formation, creating a magnificent and awe-inspiring scene.
Lin Fan's main body sat inside the command cabin. Disguised as Deputy Leader Ling Chuan, he spoke in a cold tone and issued an order:
"Everyone, connect to channel DD998 and receive the strategic deployment files."
Upon hearing this, the soldiers in the troop, without exception, entered the designated channel.
Meanwhile, Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie were hiding in the shadows, typing in the final confirmation command, causing the tampering pulse to be released at the speed of light.
The invisible signal instantly covered the entire field via the designated channel, and the main control chips in the brains of all the elite soldiers began to flicker with an unusual light.
Within just a few seconds, the tens of thousands of troops from Red Abyss stood perfectly still, as if they had been imbued with a new will by some kind of power.
A satisfied curve appeared on the corner of Lin Fan's mouth. He slowly reverted to his true appearance, waved his hand, and released Deputy Leader Ling Chuan from the Purple Mansion.
As soon as Deputy Leader Ling Chuan appeared, his expression was a mix of anger and bewilderment. "Lin Fan, how dare you!"
"Hmph, what do I not dare to do? Enter channel DD998, or die!"
Deputy Leader Ling Chuan let out a muffled groan, but knowing the situation was hopeless, he was forced to enter channel DD998.
The energy of the tampering pulse instantly flooded into his body, causing his eyes to gradually become hollow until he finally lowered his head and knelt before Lin Fan, becoming his fighting force.
Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie jumped out from behind the console, clapping and laughing excitedly: "Boss, how did we do? That move was absolute perfection, right?"
Lin Fan smiled faintly, his voice tinged with cold but approving praise: "Not bad, very nice, even better than I expected."
Meanwhile, inside Star-Moon Manor, Yin Miaoxue, Princess Hu Qinlan, and Princess Jin Xuan were standing by, ready for battle.
Watching the Red Abyss forces pressing in, they were burning with anxiety, but a moment later, they saw this army stop directly outside the manor, form up neatly, and then… all kneel on one knee before Lin Fan in unison!
The three women were instantly stunned, their tense expressions frozen on their faces, before their expressions gradually became complex.
Princess Hu Qinlan couldn't help but chide: "Young Master, you nearly scared us to death!"
Princess Jin Xuan crossed her arms and snorted: "It's truly infuriating yet laughable. If you had explained clearly earlier, I wouldn't have wasted time setting up defenses."
Yin Miaoxue did not speak, a trace of helplessness appearing on her cold, elegant face. She glanced at Nightingale on the hillside and spoke indifferently: "Did you know about this beforehand?"
Nightingale stood not far away, watching the scene before her with a complex look on her face. She took a deep breath and said coldly:
"How the hell would I know? This kid suddenly disappeared and didn't tell me anything. I didn't expect him to pull a stunt like this."
Lin Fan walked toward Yin Miaoxue and the others, shrugged, and offered an innocent smile:
"Don't look at me like that. This was also to protect you all, wasn't it? Besides, these troops are under my command now. How about it, is this enough?"
Yin Miaoxue rolled her eyes at him and whispered: "It's enough, but next time something like this happens, give us a heads-up. Otherwise, what would we do if the manor collapsed from being scared by you?"
"Hehe, isn't this a surprise for you all?"
Grand Commander Li Cangming stood before the high-tech tactical console in the command room, his eyes fixed on the display screen.
Countless red dots symbolized his troops, surrounding Star-Moon Manor layer by layer, ready to launch an attack at any moment.
At first, the System's feedback was completely normal; information was smooth and clear, and every tactical position was precisely marked.
However, suddenly, the red dots on the screen began to disappear gradually, one after another, as if wiped away instantly by some powerful force.
Even the thousand-man squad he was commanding disappeared completely from the System, as if they had never existed.
"This is impossible…" Grand Commander Li Cangming muttered to himself, a sense of unease rising in his heart.
He quickly switched to the communication channel, attempting to contact his troops.
However, no matter how he called out, there was no response whatsoever on the communication channel.
Empty electronic noise echoed in his ears, which was chilling.
"What's going on? What happened?"
Grand Commander Li Cangming's brows furrowed tightly, his fingers operating rapidly on the console, trying to retrieve any possible emergency signal, but everything had fallen into dead silence.
He called his thousand-man squad once more: "Report immediately! Respond immediately!"
However, only a cold echo responded to him, and the surrounding electronic equipment seemed to be out of control, becoming even more chaotic instead.
Grand Commander Li Cangming felt an unprecedented sense of danger, and a certain ominous premonition arose in his heart.
Based on his experience, he knew clearly that this situation was by no means accidental.
The System's response was precisely calculated; even the strongest interference could not destroy the entire tactical network in an instant.
Grand Commander Li Cangming's expression suddenly turned ugly. He slammed the console, his eyes flashing with anger and suspicion: "Who is behind all of this?!"
Just as he was preparing to confirm again, a cold and familiar voice sounded from the communication channel: "Grand Commander Li Cangming, have you not realized it yet?"
Grand Commander Li Cangming turned his head sharply, his gaze resting on the screen beside him. A pale blue light gradually emerged, and Lin Fan's figure appeared in his field of vision.
"Lin Fan…" Grand Commander Li Cangming gritted his teeth, a flash of anger and unwillingness appearing in his eyes. "What exactly did you do?"
Lin Fan smiled slightly, his voice filled with mockery: "I don't want to tell you. Grand Commander Li Cangming, your troops are now all mine. Guess what I'll do next?"
Grand Commander Li Cangming's expression was as dark as ink. He gritted his teeth, his clenched fists tightening and loosening, and finally said in a low voice: "You've got guts. Just keep watching."
Lin Fan did not continue speaking; he gave a cold laugh, and the signal was cut off.
After hanging up, Lin Fan quietly snuck into Princess Hu Qinlan's room.
He gently closed the door; only a soft lamp was lit inside the room.
Princess Hu Qinlan was wearing a JK uniform dominated by the color green, with a plaid skirt that looked fresh and elegant, paired with a white shirt and a green bow tie, looking clear and moving.
She was sitting on the edge of the bed, boredly scrolling through short videos, revealing her jade-white legs beneath the short skirt, a sight that was impossible to resist.
Seeing Lin Fan enter suddenly, she was stunned for a moment, and then a sweet smile appeared on her exquisite face, her eyes filled with joy.
"Young Master, you finally decided to come see me!" Princess Hu Qinlan said softly and sweetly, her voice as gentle as a lake, carrying a hint of playful chiding.
She got up and ran to Lin Fan, softly hugging his arm and shaking it gently, as if acting coquettishly.
Lin Fan looked at Princess Hu Qinlan before him; her pretty face was flushed with a faint rosy hue, revealing a touch of maidenly shyness.
He didn't say much, just reached out and pulled her into his arms. The warmth and softness against him made Lin Fan feel a wave of comfort.
Princess Hu Qinlan's face turned even redder from this action. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with a bit more nervousness and anticipation.
Before she could speak, Lin Fan leaned down and gently swept her up into his arms, his movements natural and fluid.
"Young Master…"
Princess Hu Qinlan let out a soft exclamation, her hands subconsciously wrapping around Lin Fan's neck. She nestled into his embrace, her heart racing and her cheeks burning hot.
Lin Fan carried her to the bedside and gently placed her on the soft bed. He looked down at Princess Hu Qinlan, his gaze gentle yet carrying a hint of overbearingness that brooked no refusal.
Princess Hu Qinlan's face became even ruddier, her eyes showing a touch of shyness, yet she offered no resistance at all.
"Have you missed me during this time?"
"I have. I've missed you every day. You finally came to find me." She raised her eyes, which were as clear as water, and looked at him with deep affection.
Lin Fan smiled slightly, reached out to smooth her hair, and without saying anything more, simply sat down on the edge of the bed.
At this moment, time seemed to stand still in the room, with only the unspoken understanding and warmth between the two permeating the air.
