Chapter 68

If Lin Moyu hadn't formed a complete map in his mind, it would have taken him ages just to find the way.

Even so, he walked for another ten minutes or so before reaching the correct path leading deeper inside.

There was an entrance here, sealed off by thick, dense spiderwebs.

The Skeleton Warrior swung its great blade to cut through the spiderwebs.

The spiderwebs were tough and resilient; they were difficult to sever, with threads still clinging even when partially cut.

It wasn't that the Skeleton Warrior wasn't trying hard enough, but it truly wasn't suited for this task.

If a mage were here, these spiderwebs would be easily cleared away by their attacks.

After hacking away for a full five minutes, the Skeleton Warrior finally cleared the path.

Clack, clack.

The Skeleton Warrior walked in front, with Lin Moyu following behind.

After passing through the passage, he finally reached the end of the Dungeon.

In a massive cavern, he saw the Dungeon boss.

It was a giant spider with a body diameter of seven or eight meters.

Its eight spider legs were splayed out like giant pillars.

Each leg was fifteen meters long, about double the length of its body.

The spider legs were covered in barbs that glinted with a metallic sheen.

One could imagine that being grazed by it would result in death or severe injury.

The moment Lin Moyu entered, the boss had already spotted him.

Lin Moyu's heart stirred, and the Skeleton Warriors emerged in response.

A full 112 Skeleton Warriors charged forward, brandishing their great blades.

A Detection Spell was also cast onto the boss.

[Spider King (Boss-level monster)]

[Level: 21]

[Strength: 5000]

[Agility: 3500]

[Spirit: 500]

[Constitution: 4000]

[Skills: Web Spit, Acid, Wind Roll.]

Its strength was greater than the Mutant Dragon Turtle, and its agility was higher, but correspondingly, its constitution was weaker.

It possessed three skills; Lin Moyu could understand the first two, but what was this last skill, Wind Roll?

The Spider King reacted, opening its mouth to spit out a massive spiderweb.

Skill: Web Spit!

The Skeleton Warriors dodged quickly, but a few didn't manage to avoid it and were ensnared by the spiderweb descending from the sky.

They were trapped by the spiderweb and raised their great blades, attempting to hack the web to pieces.

The spiderweb was unexpectedly sturdy, making it difficult to cut through for the moment.

The Spider King activated the Web Spit skill several times in succession, trapping over a dozen Skeleton Warriors.

By this time, the Skeleton Warriors had already charged to its feet and began hacking away.

Some Skeleton Warriors leaped high into the air, jumping ten meters up, and charged onto its body.

The Spider King retreated rapidly, trying to avoid the Skeleton Warriors leaping onto it.

Suddenly, a flash of red flame passed over its head and sank into its body.

The Spider King immediately let out a shrill cry.

Then, a red glow enveloped its head, and a shackle pattern appeared.

Its movement speed instantly dropped by half.

Skill: Soul Fire!

Skill: Slow Curse!

Lin Moyu joined the fray, disrupting the Spider King's actions while casting a Curse on it.

The Skeleton Warriors successfully jumped onto the Spider King's body and activated their skill simultaneously.

Skill: Berserk Strike!

The Spider King's defense was far inferior to the Mutant Dragon Turtle; facing the fierce attacks of the Skeleton Warriors, it was instantly severely wounded.

It struggled wildly, its eight spider legs sweeping back and forth like giant clubs.

At the same time, it sprayed jets of foul-smelling green liquid from its mouth.

Skill: Acid!

The green liquid was highly corrosive; as it landed on the Skeleton Warriors, it made a hissing sound accompanied by wisps of smoke.

Lin Moyu sensed that the Skeleton Warriors were taking damage.

"I need to end this quickly!"

Lin Moyu thought to himself. The Skeleton Warriors' attacks became even more ferocious, and he continued to use Soul Fire to attack.

The Spider King's injuries grew increasingly severe, and it finally let out a shrill scream.

It suddenly curled its entire body up, its eight giant legs coiling together like a coiled python.

With the blade-like barbs on its giant legs facing outward, the Spider King began to spin violently, sweeping through the cavern like a spinning top.

Skill: Wind Roll.

A gust of violent wind suddenly blew through the cavern.

The Skeleton Warriors were sent flying as they were swept by it.

Cracks appeared on their bones; this skill had considerable power.

The Spider King activated the skill with lightning speed; after sweeping away the Skeleton Warriors, it charged toward Lin Moyu.

A Skeleton Warrior rushed to Lin Moyu's side, carried him, and leaped high into the air, dodging the Spider King's sweep.

After spinning for three circles, the Spider King finally stopped.

The Skeleton Warriors surrounded it once again.

Although the Skeleton Warriors were somewhat injured and covered in cracks, it did not affect their attack power.

Lin Moyu wasn't worried; he had seen the Skeleton Warriors at Level 1, which was truly miserable.

They were like something fished out of a garbage dump.

They were much better now.

The sounds of hammering rang out in the cavern once again, accompanied by the Spider King's screams.

The Spider King suddenly leaped high, hanging itself upside down on the ceiling of the cavern.

It let out continuous, shrill cries.

The cavern shook continuously, and holes appeared all around, from which small spiders crawled out.

The small spiders were dense and numerous, numbering in the thousands.

The Spider King landed back on the ground, like a monarch commanding its army.

Seeing this, Lin Moyu showed no signs of panic; instead, he smiled.

"Delivering themselves to their deaths."

A Soul Fire flashed, and a small spider instantly perished.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The entire cavern was like a blooming firework, with explosions ringing out continuously.

It exploded over a hundred times in a row.

Only when Lin Moyu's spirit power was nearly exhausted did the explosions stop.

The Spider King was teetering, its giant legs covered in wounds and shredded flesh, in a tattered state.

It didn't understand what had happened.

How had it been blasted into such a crippled state?

Subsequently, the Skeleton Warriors went up and dealt the final blow.

[Killed Spider King, EXP + 190,000]

[Obtained Silver-grade weapon, Spider Dagger.]

[Obtained Low-grade monster core.]

[Spider Dagger: Silver-grade, Agility +40, Constitution +40, Assassin-class skill power increased by 8%, usable after Level 20.]

"When I entered the Dungeon, my EXP was less than 1%, and now it's 81%."

"A full Dungeon run can increase EXP by 80%."

"It's just too time-consuming; it took 1 hour and 32 minutes, so I can't break the record."

"It seems I need to find a time to clear the Dungeon directly; setting a record can earn points and contribution credits, which I can't miss."

Lin Moyu left the Dungeon.

After three hours, there weren't many people left outside the Dungeon.

Unlike before when he set the record, it wasn't overcrowded.

"Classmate, you've finally come out."

"Did you clear the Dungeon?"

"Even if you didn't, it doesn't matter. This Dungeon has quite a lot of monsters; it's very tiring for one person to clear."

Several people were being kind.

Everyone was a student of Xiajing Academy and fellow classmates.

Perhaps at some point, they would form a team to run Dungeons together.

They were usually quite friendly when they met.

Lin Moyu said softly, "Thank you, I passed."

"Really?"

"You really passed?"

Lin Moyu nodded. "I passed."

"Impressive, classmate! You were actually able to solo the Nightmare-grade Spider Nest."

"Although this Dungeon provides plenty of EXP and materials, it's actually quite difficult to clear."

"With so many monsters, only a mage class like you could solo it."

Seeing that Lin Moyu was safe and sound, Shu Han couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. "It's good that you're alright."

Chapter 80: A Rising Star, and a Lone Wolf

Shu Han had arrived just in time; Lin Moyu happened to have a question to ask her.

"Do you know which Dungeons offer higher EXP?"

He had originally thought that the amount of EXP in a Dungeon was basically determined by the level.
