Chapter 72: Li Ya Sealed, Exploring the Space-Time Relic Exchange

These words caused a flicker of struggle and coldness to flash in Li Ya's eyes, because in her eyes, Lin Fan was just a weakling.

Moreover, Bai Youyou had entangled with him countless times without success; wasn't this just torturing herself?

"Lin Fan, you cannot escape!"

She let out a sharp cry, her figure transforming into a gust of wind as she charged toward Lin Fan.

The two clashed instantly, the collision of their energies erupting in blinding light.

Lin Fan's Demon Blade and Li Ya's energy blades continuously intertwined, causing ripples to spread through the Void Realm and storms to sweep across the area.

"Go!" Lin Fan gave a low shout, and the Nirvana Demon Blade slashed out another wave of annihilation energy, forcing Li Ya to be blown away.

"Ah—!"

Pretending to be defeated, Li Ya tumbled through the air, her clothes torn, revealing her tender, fair skin.

Her figure was graceful and alluring, with every curve exuding a breathtaking beauty.

Finally, she slammed heavily into the crater formed by the impact, letting out a muffled groan as her delicate body trembled slightly.

Lin Fan frowned slightly and walked toward her with his blade in hand.

Li Ya was a member of the Elf Race, and Lin Chen was the Elf Queen; naturally, Lin Fan could not bring himself to kill her.

However, she was clearly completely controlled by Mirror Venerable. If he didn't find a way to restrict her movements, she might continue to attack him after waking up.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Fan took a deep breath and decided to Seal her cultivation.

He formed a hand Seal, and a Void Realm rune appeared on Li Ya's forehead, instantly sealing the Spirit Source within her body.

"I'm sorry," Lin Fan said in a low voice.

Immediately after, he took a Spirit Rope from his storage space and bound Li Ya tightly.

Her body was soft, and the rope firmly bound her slender waist and long limbs, making her snow-white skin appear even more alluring beneath the bindings.

"We'll talk once you regain your senses."

Lin Fan swept his dark golden sleeve, and Li Ya was taken into his Sleeve Universe, completely devoid of her previous sharp aura.

"Xiao Du… Xiao Du…" Lin Fan called out to his System.

A virtual screen appeared before him, displaying a message from Xiao Du.

"Little Master, you must rely on yourself now. You have entered the Noah Space restricted area. I cannot help you. Good luck!"

The few large characters floating in the air felt like a stab to the heart.

Hey! You System, you always become useless at critical moments.

Lin Fan looked around and found no one else. Besides, in this Chaos Era, he didn't need to fear exposing his identity as the Void Main God.

Because surely no one had become a god yet, right? Haha, even if he was only a youthful deity, he was definitely an invincible existence.

Thinking of this, Lin Fan no longer hesitated. He activated the Void Realm True Intent, and the Void Divine Ring slowly rotated behind him.

"Where my will reaches, no boundary remains uncrossed!"

Lin Fan's eyes turned pitch black, the entire area suffused with layers of ink-like color. The barriers of time were like thin paper before him, broken through layer by layer.

Until suddenly, a space-time fault resembling a natural chasm appeared ahead, blocking the path in front of Lin Fan, causing him to stop.

"It seems I cannot leave." Lin Fan withdrew the Void Main God halo; in this unfamiliar place, it was better to be cautious.

After some exploration, Lin Fan found a densely populated small town that looked very much like an "Energy Trading Market" from the technological era.

The currency here was not gold or silver, but energy crystals—specifically, energy stones with "Day Cards" as the unit of trade.

A Day Card was not a direct energy crystal, but a highly efficient energy unit, usually exchanged using electrical energy crystals.

Electrical energy crystals, as the most basic unit of trade, might seem insignificant, but in reality, they were already extremely powerful in energy.

Just as Lin Fan had learned, one Day Card was equal to 100 million kilowatt-hours of electricity.

If one took the data from Kunming for the first three quarters of 2023 as an example, those 100 million kilowatt-hours would be enough to support the daily consumption of all of Kunming for about 400 days—and this was just the most basic unit.

Lin Fan walked along the main street of the market. On both sides of the street were various shops and stalls. Some stalls were piled with all kinds of energy crystals, colorful and shimmering with different lights; others sold even more precious high-level energy sources at outrageously high prices.

"I hope I can find some clues." Lin Fan continued to think as he walked forward.

An inconspicuous shop caught his attention.

The shop's sign read, "Space-Time Relic Exchange".

This stirred Lin Fan's heart, for he had already discovered that this place hosted trades of some unknown space-time fragments and energy relics.

He stopped in his tracks and walked inside; the shop was filled with a faint, ancient fragrance.

The shopkeeper was a middle-aged man wearing a deep blue robe, with a somber face and a glint of wisdom in his eyes.

"Welcome. Is there anything I can help you with?" The shopkeeper's voice was deep, steady, and sounded very magnetic.

"I would like to ask, do you have any space-time relics, or any clues related to Mirror Venerable?" Lin Fan asked directly.

The shopkeeper was slightly taken aback, his eyes flickering as if he had some reservations about Lin Fan's words, but he quickly returned to calm: "Space-time relics are very dangerous items. If you want to know more, it is best to be prepared with enough energy to trade."

"Fine, let me see what you have in stock."

The shopkeeper nodded slightly, a hint of an elusive expression flashing in his eyes.

Immediately, he took out an exquisite transparent crystal from behind the counter, with a faint light flickering inside it.

"This belongs to an ancient space-time relic. It can help you perceive the flow of space-time more clearly, but it is already damaged and has no practical use," the shopkeeper said.

"I offer three Day Cards," Lin Fan replied in a deep voice.

The shopkeeper was clearly shocked by this offer for a moment, but soon, a glint of approval appeared in his eyes: "You have great courage."

"How many Day Cards can these be exchanged for?" Lin Fan took out 10 Spirit Stones and piled them on the counter.

Each one was emitting white mist and shining with a crystalline light.

The shopkeeper recognized them at a glance; these were Spirit Stones, containing Spiritual Qi used by cultivators. Converted to energy, each one could be exchanged for at least 100 Day Cards.

The shopkeeper cleared his throat and replied, "Sir, each of these can be exchanged for 100 Day Cards. Are you sure you want to exchange them?"

"Exchange!"

The shopkeeper suppressed the wild joy in his heart, "Sir, this is your Black Gold Card. After deducting the 3 Day Cards for purchasing this mysterious crystal, you have 9,997 Day Cards remaining."

Lin Fan took the Black Gold Card and the transparent crystal, feeling the faint flow of energy, and silently calculated his next plan.

Just as he was turning to leave, he was suddenly called out by the shopkeeper.

"Sir, you must be visiting the Wasteland Source Town for the first time, right?" The shopkeeper smiled warmly, a glint of shrewdness flashing in his eyes.

"Yes, I just arrived." Lin Fan nodded, but his eyes were still scanning the surroundings, remaining vigilant.

The shopkeeper smiled slightly, turned around, and shouted in a low voice: "Li Li, come out!"

Before long, a figure darted out from behind the counter.

She was wearing simple cloth clothes and carrying a heavy pack on her back, looking somewhat thin but very nimble.

The pack was filled with all kinds of scrolls, making her look like a young girl passionate about collecting knowledge.

"Sir, this is my shop's capable assistant—Li Li. She is the best know-it-all in our Wasteland Source Town."

The shopkeeper introduced her with a smile, his tone revealing a hint of pride.
