Chapter 76: Defense of Star-Moon Manor (IV)

The judgment spear in his hand crackled with crimson thunder, its pressure as heavy as a mountain.

The giant warship was clearly prepared; the moment Lin Fan approached, a brilliant energy barrier blocked his path.

Lin Fan frowned, his spear tearing through the sky as he thrust it heavily toward the shield.

"Boom—!"

With a loud bang, the surface of the shield rippled violently, but it remained as steady as a rock.

Lin Fan swung the spear again, the immense power shaking the space, but the warship's shield remained undamaged.

Just as Lin Fan prepared to unleash his Void Domain, the jump drive inside the giant warship activated, and the space around the warship suddenly distorted.

Lin Fan's pupils constricted; he immediately understood that the enemy intended to escape with the captured students.

"Don't even think about escaping!"

Lin Fan roared in anger and thrust his spear directly into the Void Realm, causing a spatial rift to explode in front of the warship, attempting to disrupt its jump trajectory.

However, this giant warship from a Peak level 5 civilization was clearly superior in jump technology.

A flash of light appeared in the distorted space, and the entire warship vanished in an instant, leaving behind only a silent battlefield.

Lin Fan stood in mid-air with a cold expression, his grip on the judgment spear tightening slightly.

He turned his head to look at Yue Zhentian's battle group and said in a low voice:

"Continue tracking their jump trajectory; I need to know their next stop."

Yue Zhentian's voice came through the communicator, filled with a hint of anxiety:

"Their jump signal is too complex, and localization will take time, but I will do my best."

Lin Fan looked back at the completely destroyed Future Engineering Academy, his eyes filled with a trace of apology and anger.

"These people… none of them will escape."

Lin Fan muttered to himself, his figure turning into a streak of golden light that vanished into the horizon as he continued to pursue the escaping giant warship.

Lin Fan sped through the Void Realm, the golden stream of light tearing through the deep sea of stars.

His gaze was locked firmly onto the escaping giant warship ahead, the distance between them constantly shrinking; victory was within reach.

However, just as he was about to catch up to the warship, a transparent mirror appeared abruptly in front of Lin Fan.

The mirror surface was crystal clear yet emanated an eerie aura that made one's blood run cold.

"It's you again!"

Lin Fan gritted his teeth and growled, a flash of anger crossing his eyes.

He clearly remembered that his Clone had been intercepted by this mysterious mirror, which had led to Lin Yue's disappearance.

And now, this mirror had appeared again, clearly here to obstruct him.

Lin Fan did not hesitate; gripping the judgment spear, the power of the Void Domain surging within him erupted instantly.

He thrust the spear violently toward the mirror surface, attempting to shatter it with his unstoppable power.

However, as the spear tip approached the mirror, Lin Fan felt the spatial rules around him undergo a strange change.

The speed of light suddenly slowed, and time seemed to be infinitely stretched.

It seemed that Lin Fan had approached the mirror in the blink of an eye, but in reality, a full breath of time had already passed.

"Bang!"

The judgment spear pierced deeply into the mirror surface, causing countless spiderweb-like cracks to spread across it before it shattered with a loud crash.

However, when Lin Fan looked up again, the giant warship ahead had completely vanished, and the residual fluctuations of its jump were gradually dissipating.

Lin Fan's expression darkened, his fingers tightening slightly on the spear.

He knew it was no longer possible to catch up to this last warship.

"Damn it…"

Unwilling to give up, Lin Fan tried to sense the warship's jump trajectory, only to find that those fluctuations had completely dissipated.

With no other choice, Lin Fan could only turn around, tear through the Void Realm, and return to Star-Moon Manor.

He understood that the Black Obsidian Organization had escaped, and Earth's crisis had been resolved.

When Lin Fan set foot back in Star-Moon Manor, everyone rushed to greet him.

Princess Hu Qinlan, Yin Miaoxue, Princess Jin Xuan, and others had eyes filled with worry, while Instructor Su Man waited quietly on the side for news.

"How is the situation?" Princess Hu Qinlan asked softly, her tone filled with a hint of concern.

Lin Fan shook his head. "They escaped."

Instructor Su Man gently patted Lin Fan's shoulder and said softly:

"Lin Fan, although they escaped, this operation has already yielded the best possible result.

The core strength of the Black Obsidian Organization has been almost completely destroyed, and everything on Earth will slowly return to normal."

Her tone was gentle yet carried a hint of comfort and encouragement, hoping to alleviate the anger in Lin Fan's heart.

Lin Fan nodded slightly, his gaze remaining cold and stern.

Just then, a low engine roar tore through the sky.

Looking up, a massive flagship slowly descended above Star-Moon Manor. The people in the manor stood on guard, but Lin Fan remained expressionless, quietly watching the newcomer.

The flagship's hatch opened, and Yue Zhentian, dressed in his military uniform, stepped down with a solemn expression.

The officers behind him stood as still as mountains; clearly, this was a formal meeting.

"Lin Fan!"

Yue Zhentian strode forward, his tone filled with unconcealable respect and gratitude.

"You played an indispensable role in the destruction of the Black Obsidian Organization this time. Earth was saved because of your heroism and strength! On behalf of the Galactic Federation, I express our highest gratitude to you."

Yue Zhentian paused, then continued:

"Lin Fan, given your strength and talent, I sincerely invite you to join the Federation military! We need people like you to maintain the peace and order of the galaxy."

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone turned their eyes toward Lin Fan, waiting for his answer.

However, Lin Fan just smiled faintly and replied in a calm yet firm tone:

"General Yue, I am merely acting under the orders of the Tianji Pavilion to assist you in resolving the issue with the Black Obsidian Organization. I do not belong here."

Yue Zhentian was stunned, seemingly not expecting Lin Fan to refuse so directly.

He tried to persuade him to stay, but was completely shocked by Lin Fan's next words:

"After this matter is completely resolved, I will leave and return to the Canglan Immortal Domain."

"Canglan Immortal Domain?"

A look of disbelief flashed in Yue Zhentian's eyes.

He repeated the name in a low voice, seemingly unable to believe what his ears had heard.

One of the goals of the Black Obsidian Organization, the legendary higher-dimensional world that surpassed the Galactic Federation, was none other than the Canglan Immortal Domain—it actually existed!

And the Lin Fan before him actually came from that place?

Lin Fan did not explain much more; his gaze was profound as he scanned everyone in the manor.

"The fate of Earth is ultimately in your own hands. I hope you can cherish this hard-won peace."

Yue Zhentian suppressed his shock and immediately stood in respectful awe. He bowed slightly and said:

"General Fan, regardless of anything else, Earth will always be your friend.

If one day you need help, the Galactic Federation will do its utmost."

Lin Fan did not respond, only looking up at the distant starry sky, his gaze seeming to penetrate the endless Void Realm and fall upon a more distant world.

He knew that the sinister hands of the Black Obsidian Organization would appear in the Canglan Immortal Domain before long.

Before that, Lin Fan must conclude all matters regarding Watchtower Island.
