Chapter 786: Renowned in Luotian – Teleportation Formation

Wisps of black Qi swirled within the mouth of the cauldron, as if trying to break free, but it seemed an odd power acted as a Seal, preventing the black Qi from escaping.

Surrounding the large cauldron were nine skulls. These were not the skulls of beasts, but human skulls! On the center of each forehead was an extremely complex runic mark.

Wisps of dark light flickered across the nine skulls, resembling a Formation.

"This is the Xuanyin Cauldron." Tasan gazed at the large cauldron, a look of complexity in his eyes, and whispered.

Wang Lin's gaze was like a torch. His Divine Sense followed his gaze, circling the cauldron. After hesitating for a moment, he suddenly lunged inside. Without any obstruction, his Divine Sense drilled into the cauldron.

However, the moment his Divine Sense entered, a sharp, piercing female shriek suddenly erupted from within the cauldron. This sound was extremely eerie; it could not be heard by the physical ear, only perceived by Divine Sense. Within it was contained a dense killing intent, like a storm, which nearly caused Wang Lin's Divine Sense to collapse instantly.

Wang Lin's body swayed, and he took a few steps back. His face was slightly pale, but his eyes flashed with brilliant light.

"I need to stay here for a few days. You should go out first." Wang Lin stared at the cauldron and said slowly.

Tasan was silent. A moment later, he raised his head, looked at Wang Lin, and after hesitating, said: "Are you… really an Immortal?"

Wang Lin withdrew his gaze and looked at Tasan. When the other party asked to lead the way earlier, he had already guessed that this person definitely had some questions and wanted to ask him privately.

Calmly looking at Tasan, Wang Lin did not speak.

Tasan's face turned bitter, and he whispered: "When I was young, I often heard my elders say that we are the Immortal Chosen Race, a race chosen by Immortals, a race favored by Immortals. Our lives are to be offered to the Immortals. This is the glory of our race…

This glory accompanied my upbringing and was the only belief in my heart. Not just me, but almost all the clansmen are like this.

However, as I grew up, I gradually discovered that all of this did not seem real. No one has ever seen an Immortal, except for that Immortal Edict in the ancestral hall…

Every once in a while, the Xuanyin Cauldron that our race guards would spew out mist. This mist would take on various forms and slaughter our clansmen. Through these repeated experiences and the deaths of my clansmen, while feeling grief and indignation, I began to doubt whether Immortals truly exist in this world.

To this day, I, Tasan, do not believe Immortals exist. If they truly existed, why have they forgotten us for so many years…"

Wang Lin was silent. When he had heard the old man claim to be of the Immortal Chosen Race earlier, his heart had stirred, and he had vaguely analyzed the ins and outs of the matter.

"Immortal Chosen Race… Immortal Remnant Race… Chosen, abandoned…"

"Please tell me, do Immortals really exist in this world? Are you… an Immortal?" Tasan raised his head and looked at Wang Lin. The voice was very low, but it contained an impact even stronger than a shout.

"I am not an Immortal…" Wang Lin spoke calmly and slowly.

Tasan's body trembled, and the bitterness on his face deepened.

"Immortals may still exist, but the Immortal Realm collapsed a long time ago and is gone…" Wang Lin's gaze landed on the Xuanyin Cauldron.

Tasan smiled miserably and took a few steps back, muttering: "It is as I thought. I was right. Immortals… there are no Immortals at all… Our race has guarded this place for these years, but we were wrong…"

"What is inside this cauldron?" Wang Lin stared at the Xuanyin Cauldron and said slowly.

"I don't know. The clan records state that back then, the Xiaoyao Immortal King brought our race into the body of this Nether Beast, making our race guard this Xuanyin Cauldron for generations until he returns." Tasan muttered to himself.

"How can one leave this place?" Wang Lin withdrew his gaze from the Xuanyin Cauldron.

"It is impossible to leave. This place is completely Sealed… I have tried to find a way to leave and went out to look for Immortals, but all attempts failed. This sky has an end, but it cannot be passed. Beyond the cracks in the flesh wall is endless nothingness." Tasan took a deep breath and smiled bitterly.

"What did the Immortal Edict from back then say?" Wang Lin's gaze narrowed as he asked.

"It cannot be seen… No one can see what is inside. Even our countless ancestors who have already passed away could not decipher the content…" Tasan gradually recovered from the shock.

Wang Lin frowned. After pondering for a moment, he stepped forward to the side of the Xuanyin Cauldron, raised his right hand, and pressed it directly onto it. His Divine Sense spread out again and merged into it.

Almost instantly, the sharp shriek that could penetrate Divine Sense appeared again. This time it was several times stronger than before, and as it penetrated, it suddenly echoed within Wang Lin's mind.

Wang Lin circulated his Yuan Power throughout his body to protect his Primordial Spirit and resist the shrieking sound. The sound became more and more intense in his mind. In the end, its penetrating power reached its Peak. Under this howling, Wang Lin's face instantly turned pale. He withdrew his right hand and took a few steps back. Each step caused the ground to shake, leaving a deep footprint.

He retreated seven steps before his complexion slightly recovered. With a cold snort, he lunged forward and flew up. Looking down from above the cauldron, he saw that the inside of the cauldron's mouth was pitch black, with only swirling black Qi permeating it, emitting an eerie aura.

His eyes flashed. Wang Lin raised his right hand, and the lightning might within his body instantly surged out, condensing into a Lightning Orb in his hand. With a toss, he threw it directly toward the mouth of the cauldron.

The lightning roared with a rumbling thunder as it landed at the mouth of the cauldron. But at that moment, the black Qi within the cauldron's mouth immediately condensed, as if devouring, and swallowed the Lightning Orb directly.

"Explode!" Wang Lin shouted in a low voice.

A rumbling, muffled sound echoed. As the Lightning Orb collapsed, the black Qi outside pushed outward. Taking advantage of this moment, Wang Lin's eyes flashed with brilliant light, as if he could pierce through the black Qi and see directly to the bottom.

There, there was a small Teleportation Formation!

The black Qi surged, permeating the Formation and covering it from view. The black Qi above it condensed rapidly, and in the blink of an eye, it formed a human shape. It was a woman, her entire body composed of mist, and her detailed features could not be seen clearly.

But after she appeared, she immediately lunged out. Beneath her, black Qi still permeated, and as she charged out, she let out a shrill shriek.

This time, the shriek was not only aimed at the Primordial Spirit, but could also cause damage to the Physical Body. This shriek was too strong, almost forming a sonic boom, like a tangible substance, striking directly toward Wang Lin.

Tasan was not far away and was also affected. His face was bloodless, his body retreated subconsciously, and his eyes were slightly dim. Not possessing a mutated lightning Primordial Spirit, his Primordial Spirit was injured.

Wang Lin retreated immediately without hesitation, but he was still struck by the shriek. His face instantly turned pale, and blood flowed from the corner of his mouth. As he retreated, he grabbed Tasan and flew out through the exit.

The female phantom within the large cauldron chased relentlessly behind him. Her speed was extremely fast, and she caught up at the exit of the stairs in an instant. The shrieking sound suddenly rang out again. Killing intent flashed in Wang Lin's eyes, and he turned sharply, spitting out a mouthful of Primordial Spirit essence, which turned into a large cloud of blood mist, greeting the female phantom.

"Seal!" Wang Lin shouted in a low voice.

Immediately, those blood mists flickered and turned into individual Restriction Seals. The moment the female phantom approached, they immediately stuck to her body, forming a large area of Seals.

At the same time, cold light appeared in Wang Lin's eyes. He pointed his right hand into the void, and suddenly the Karma Kunji Whip manifested and lashed out fiercely.

A miserable groan came from within the female phantom. Her body could not help but retreat a few steps, but she immediately charged up again. Her body dissipated and actually turned into nine streams of black Qi, chasing Wang Lin like arrows.

Wang Lin frowned and retreated again. With this retreat, he arrived at the exit gate. He threw Tasan, who was in his hand, backward, and tapped the center of his forehead. Immediately, his third eye Divine Ability opened, and a red light flashed, directly surrounding the exit.

Under the red light, the nine streams of black Qi that were chasing him dissipated over a large area. They quickly condensed into one, actually ignoring the third eye Divine Ability and heading straight for the exit.

The old man outside the exit had long since seen the black Qi. With his face changing drastically, without needing Wang Lin's command, he immediately performed Hand Seals with both hands. The plant on his forehead flickered, forming a runic mark, and he pressed it onto the gate.

The gate rumbled and slowly closed. From within the black Qi that was chasing them, a woman's shriek immediately rang out. The old man's body trembled, he spat out blood, and his entire body immediately withered.

The moment the gate closed, the woman was about to rush out. Wang Lin's eyes flashed. He patted his Storage Pouch, and an Immortal Brush immediately appeared in his hand. With one stroke, six strokes of a runic mark appeared instantly, shining with golden light, like sharp swords, flying directly into the gate and imprinting onto the female phantom that wanted to rush out.

With a loud bang, the female phantom trembled. Just then, the gate closed, blocking the shrieking sound.

Tasan was extremely shocked by the scene before him. He stared straight at the closed gate, his scalp tingling.

"What was that!"

"The Xuanyin Cauldron Spirit!" The pale-faced old ancestor of the Immortal Chosen Race wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, a look of complexity in his eyes.

"You two withdraw. Do not let anyone step within a hundred zhang of this place!" Wang Lin's expression was gloomy as he sat down cross-legged.

The old man was silent. A moment later, he nodded respectfully, and he and Tasan turned into two long rainbows and flew into the distance.

Wang Lin stared at the gate. When the old man had opened this gate earlier, he had seen it clearly: it was opened by using the plant on his forehead to form a runic mark. This runic mark was clearly a life-bound runic mark.

While pondering, Wang Lin patted his Storage Pouch. When he left the Vermilion Bird Star back then, he had obtained many skulls of the Immortal Remnant Race. At this moment, light flashed on the Storage Pouch, and several skulls appeared before him.

On each skull was a complex runic mark. After looking at them carefully for a few moments, Wang Lin waved his right hand and put them away. His eyes flashed, and he looked up at the sky.

The sky was a vast blue, but with Wang Lin's vision, he could vaguely see that at the end of the white clouds in the sky, it seemed to still be a flesh wall.

"If this place is truly completely Sealed, why was I teleported here… This is not a good place; I must find a way to leave as soon as possible! However, although this place is dangerous, it is also the best place to hide!" While pondering, Wang Lin patted his Storage Pouch, and an object immediately flew out from within.

This object was about fifteen zhang long and over four zhang wide. As soon as it appeared, a strong pressure immediately permeated. On this object were countless sharp spikes, full of a ferocious feeling. Looking at it would cause one's mind to be captured, and one would inevitably feel fear in a trance.

The third one, the God-Slaying Chariot!
