Chapter 80: Black Obsidian Embers (Part 3)

In the quiet of the night, at Star-Moon Manor in Ningguta.

As soon as Lin Fan stepped into the private area on the third floor of the main building of Star-Moon Manor, he saw Princess Hu Qinlan, Yin Miaoxue, and Princess Jin Xuan sitting by the tea table, leisurely sipping flower tea.

Upon seeing him enter, the three of them set down their teacups, their faces filled with confusion.

"Lin Fan, you've been gone for almost half a month. Where have you been?"

Princess Hu Qinlan spoke first, her brows slightly furrowed, her tone carrying a hint of worry.

"That's right." Princess Jin Xuan chimed in, crossing her arms over her chest, her gaze sharp as she looked at him.

Yin Miaoxue cast a cold, elegant glance at Lin Fan, took a light sip of her tea, and waited quietly for Lin Fan to answer.

Lin Fan sat down helplessly and explained the mission of clearing out the remaining strongholds of the Black Obsidian Organization within the Solar System, his encounter on Ganymede, and his own choices during this time.

After listening, Yin Miaoxue set down her teacup and said coldly:

"Lin Fan, for this kind of thing, you could have completely left it to Thunder, Karl, and the others, or the authorities; that would have worked.

You going alone to clear out so many strongholds is both time-consuming and dangerous, and besides…"

She pointed to the projector on the table, where the virtual screen displayed a dense cluster of red dots. "With just us few, when would we ever finish clearing them all?"

Princess Hu Qinlan nodded and added:

"The Ningguta Authorities have always been dedicated to managing the civilians; it is most appropriate to hand such matters over to them.

You provide the coordinates, they handle the rest—it's more efficient, and you won't have to risk yourself alone."

Princess Jin Xuan rarely refrained from arguing, and she said in a low voice, "We are not saviors; it is best to leave such large-scale clearing operations to professionals."

Lin Fan pondered for a moment and nodded in agreement with their views. He took a deep breath and said, "Indeed, it's unrealistic for me to handle so many strongholds alone. The remnants of the Black Obsidian Organization should be handed over to the Ningguta Authorities; they have sufficient resources and manpower."

Lin Fan quickly contacted the Ningguta Authorities and uploaded the coordinates of the Black Obsidian Organization's remaining strongholds, which Xiao Du had deciphered. His request was very clear: "These coordinates cover all the remnants of the Black Obsidian Organization within the Solar System. I hope that within two years, their influence can be completely eradicated."

After receiving the message, the Ningguta Authorities took it very seriously, immediately convening a high-level meeting and promising to do everything in their power to handle the matter.

They also sent a representative to express their gratitude to Lin Fan and proposed forming an elite unit specifically responsible for this operation.

After ending the communication, Lin Fan leaned back in his chair and let out a long sigh. He turned to look at the three girls and said with a smile, "Alright, at least things will be easier from here on out."

Princess Hu Qinlan smiled slightly, her tone gentle: "You should also get some rest; don't always take everything upon yourself."

Princess Jin Xuan raised an eyebrow, her tone teasing: "Since the task has been handed off, you should spend more time with us. You've neglected us for long enough these past few days."

Yin Miaoxue gave a light huff; although her tone was cold, it lacked a bit of blame: "In the future, don't go running off to take risks alone on such big missions."

Lin Fan looked at them, a warmth welling up in his heart. He nodded and smiled, "Don't worry, it absolutely won't happen again."

The atmosphere at Star-Moon Manor returned to a long-lost ease, and the future of the Solar System was about to welcome a new order under the intervention of the authorities.

Over the next two years, the Ningguta Authorities mobilized tens of millions of troops and launched a large-scale clearing operation against the remnants of the Black Obsidian Organization within the Solar System.

During this period, Nightingale, Karl, Thunder, and Blood Hammer performed exceptionally well. Relying on battle after battle and their military achievements, their reputations gradually climbed, making them core figures of the Ningguta Authorities.

The elite units they each led not only efficiently cleared out multiple strongholds but also successfully dismantled several infiltration plans by the upper echelons of the Black Obsidian Organization.

Despite the significant results, there was one place that could never be cleared: a hidden stronghold located near the orbit of Pluto.

This stronghold was not only hidden in a secret location but also possessed a large number of Advanced guards; they were well-equipped, and their combat power far exceeded that of ordinary members of the Black Obsidian Organization.

Even though the Ningguta Authorities repeatedly dispatched troops to launch assaults, they all ended in failure.

Inside Star-Moon Manor, Lin Fan stood on the third-floor balcony, gazing at the horizon in the distance.

Inside the room, Princess Hu Qinlan, Yin Miaoxue, and Princess Jin Xuan were sitting on the sofa, whispering about the recent situation.

Princess Hu Qinlan said softly, "The Ningguta Authorities have already mobilized so much force, yet they still can't do anything about that stronghold. It seems the problem is significant."

Princess Jin Xuan gave a cold huff, her tone carrying a hint of dissatisfaction: "That group is just talking on paper; without Lin Fan making a move, it's impossible for them to clean it up completely."

Yin Miaoxue raised her eyes to look at Lin Fan, her voice cold but carrying a trace of concern: "Lin Fan, what do you think?"

Lin Fan was silent for a moment, then turned around, his gaze sweeping over the three people in the room. His tone was calm but unquestionable: "It seems it's time to set off. Such matters must ultimately be resolved by me personally."

Princess Hu Qinlan frowned slightly, stood up, and walked to Lin Fan's side, her tone full of worry: "You are going alone? That stronghold couldn't even be breached by millions of troops, and you…"

Lin Fan smiled lightly, his gaze gentle: "Going alone is actually more efficient. Too many people will only alert the enemy."

Princess Jin Xuan stood up, hands on her hips, her tone firm: "You are always like this! Can't you let us go with you? What if something happens…"

Yin Miaoxue interrupted Princess Jin Xuan, her tone calm but meaningful: "He has already decided; there is no stopping him. But Lin Fan, be sure to be careful this time. We will be waiting for your good news."

Lin Fan did not offer any further explanation. He packed his personal belongings and took the heavenly dao divine weapon.

This silver spear flickered with crimson lightning in his palm, like a sleeping giant beast.

He gently stroked the spear shaft, feeling the power and responsibility contained within it, and a surge of indescribable determination rose in his heart.

As he turned to leave, he looked back at the three of them and said faintly, "Wait for my return."

After leaving Star-Moon Manor, Lin Fan locked onto the stronghold near the Pluto orbit using the Heavenly Secret Roulette.

Space surged, and Lin Fan's figure vanished into the night sky.

In the dark Void Realm of Pluto's orbit, the million-strong forces of the Ningguta Authorities had already assembled, forming a massive torrent of steel.

Warships were as dense as the stars, filling the starry sky around the stronghold; countless cruisers, destroyers, and motherships were arranged in a tight formation.

Every ship was equipped with Advanced laser cannons and ion weapons, their muzzles flickering with a cold, biting light.

The battle had been going on for an entire day.

The defensive firepower within the stronghold fiercely retaliated, and the energy shield, like a huge sphere of light, intercepted all the incoming artillery fire.

Laser beams and missiles intertwined in the starry sky, streaking across the vast expanse like meteors.

The sounds of explosions echoed through the Void Realm, and the dazzling firelight illuminated the armor of the warships; even the Earth observatories, tens of thousands of kilometers away, could observe the spectacular scene of this battle.

Thunder was personally commanding the battle on the front lines. He stood in the main control room of the flagship, staring intently at the combat data on the screen, his brows furrowed tightly.

Even he could feel the formidable nature of the stronghold's defenses.
