Chapter 829: “Really Fucking Ugly”

"Hold on tight."

Old Mo gave a low shout, his palm pressing a mechanical button at the top of the wooden pillar.

Boom!

A strong stream of blue energy spewed from the stern of the skiff.

This clumsy wooden boat actually plunged headfirst into the bottomless black Dead Sea below at a speed that defied the Laws of physics.

Bang!

Splashes scattered everywhere.

Across that azure protective barrier, the surrounding seawater was directly and forcibly pushed aside by the massive kinetic energy generated as the skiff descended.

Without any resistance or sluggishness during the descent, the underwater maneuverability of this vehicle crafted by the Divine Craftsman was actually a bit faster than flying in the sky!

The surrounding light quickly dimmed.

In just a few breaths, the skiff had already silently dived thousands of meters deep into the deep sea.

The external water pressure was crazily skyrocketing at a geometric multiple, and tooth-aching creaking sounds came from outside the protective barrier.

That was the deep-sea pressure that even a max-level shield warrior could not resist with a Physical Body alone, yet it was completely blocked outside by this thin layer of blue light curtain, showing how Heaven-Defying Old Mo's creation methods were.

Deep in this sea area, there was no vitality at all.

Occasionally, a few huge and ferocious deep-sea alien beasts swam past from the darkness, but upon touching the unique Law fluctuation of specialized the Divine Craftsman emitted from the skiff, they all acted like they saw a natural enemy, frantically swinging their tails and escaping into the depths of the unknown trench.

All around, only darkness and stillness remained.

The skiff continued to dive downwards, heading straight for the core of this planet.

Just when it dived to a depth of about ten thousand meters,

a silver-white light lit up in Zhou Huai's eyes, and Victor's [Void Omniscience] passive gave high-intensity early-warning feedback.

his sensory nerves violently twitched.

"We have arrived."

Zhou Huai spoke in a low voice.

The moment his voice fell, the skiff's descent speed slowed down, and it finally hovered steadily in a deep-sea area.

Old Mo did not speak, just reaching out to swipe across the control panel of the mechanism.

On the protective barrier at the front of the skiff, a strong searchlight beam was projected, piercing straight through the deep-sea fog and darkness ahead.

Taking advantage of this beam of light, Zhou Huai finally saw the scenery at the bottom of the sea clearly.

Directly below him, that was not some rock layer or crust of the seabed at all.

Instead, it was the silhouette of a monster so huge that it completely exceeded the limits of human cognition!

That body was a continuous giant black mountain range, quietly lying across the silt of the seabed.

The searchlight beam hit its body, yet it couldn't even completely illuminate a single scale of it.

In Zhou Huai's Void Omniscience vision, the body length of this monster even exceeded hundreds of kilometers, and the length of its health bar turned into a dark purple question mark representing a bottomless pit!

It just lay quietly beneath the deep sea, falling into an eternal slumber.

But it was not dead.

Because, in this deep sea, under the massive water pressure,

Thump——

"Thump——"

faintly, an extremely slow yet powerful heartbeat was piercing through the thick seawater and protective barrier, reverberating dully right beside Zhou Huai's eardrums.

Every heartbeat caused tens of thousands of tons of surrounding seawater to produce a violent undercurrent shock, and the entire underwater world was undulating with its pulse.

Beneath the deep sea, it was so quiet that there was not a single sound.

Through the azure energy protective barrier, the searchlight beam emitted from the front of the skiff split a pillar of light in the gloomy seawater, striking straight at the endless huge silhouette below.

Zhou Huai stood with his hands behind his back at the bow of the ship, the silver-white Law of Space quietly circulating in his eyes.

Taking advantage of the passive feedback of Victor's [Void Omniscience], he looked down condescendingly at the behemoth below that resembled an underwater mountain range.

Even if it was not fully illuminated, that High-Dimensional Law fluctuation familiar to the bone, along with the deep-sea Death Qi mixed with decay and greed, still allowed Zhou Huai to make a judgment immediately.

"So it's you…"

Zhou Huai sneered and murmured softly.

He recognized the other party at a glance.

Back then, when he manipulated his Clone Gandalf to go deep into another underwater ruin, he had forcibly gouged the Divine Artifact Pendulum of Life out of this guy's belly!

At that time, this exaggeratedly sized deep-sea giant beast was trying to rely on the Heaven-Defying Origin power of the Pendulum of Life to forcibly reshape its Physical Body, attempting to complete a resurrection across eras.

It was precisely because he decisively made a move and snatched the Pendulum of Life with extremely arrogant means, thereby forcibly interrupting its resurrection process and making it fall short of success.

Twisting and turning, he didn't expect to meet this old acquaintance again in the deepest part of the ruins of Castlantis.

"So, this big guy that looks like a mountain is the so-called Sea God of The Seventh World in your mouths."

Zhou Huai turned his head and glanced at Old Mo beside him, his tone flat, completely lacking any panic or awe in the face of such a monster exceeding the SSS-level limit.

Hearing Zhou Huai's understated words, the Rugged Man and others standing behind all twitched their eyelids wildly.

Even across the protective barrier, just feeling the faint aura emitted from the monster's slumber, top powerhouses of the old era like them already had cold hands and feet.

Yet this youth of the present era had an undisturbed look.

Old Mo nodded with a solemn expression.

"Just relying on this beam of light, you still can't see its full picture clearly."

As Old Mo spoke, his withered palm gently stroked through the air.

"Swish——!"

Following his action, several glowing beads the size of a baby's fist, glowing entirely in crystal white, flew out from his cuffs, penetrated the skiff's energy protective barrier, and merged into the gloomy seawater on the periphery.

"Explode."

Old Mo's lips moved slightly.

When those glowing beads sank to a position less than a thousand meters from the monster, they burst violently!

"Hum!"

The ultimate strong light erupted, lighting up a few small, blinding suns beneath the ten-thousand-meter deep sea!

The dazzling light dispelled all gloom and mist, completely illuminating the underwater world within a radius of hundreds of kilometers!

At this moment, this monster called the "Sea God" by the indigenous people of The Seventh World finally revealed its true face to the visitors of the present era.

When he saw the monster clearly, Zhou Huai's brows knitted together involuntarily.

"Hiss…"

Zhou Huai couldn't help muttering inwardly.

Really fucking ugly!

When he snatched the Pendulum of Life before, due to the deep-sea environment and blocked vision, he only saw the iceberg-like abdomen of this monster.

Now seeing the full picture under this strong light, Zhou Huai's worldview suffered a huge impact.

That was by no means some majestic and sacred marine overlord; its overall shape was a deformed catfish magnified countless times and severely mutated genetically!

Its huge body, hundreds of kilometers long, was covered with disgusting pustules of varying sizes oozing green venom, and the edges of every pitch-black scale the size of a door panel were covered with barbs.
