Chapter 85: Turmoil at the Imperial Court (Part 3)

The head jailer sneered, casually ripping the prison guard robe off Princess Zhaoyang, instantly exposing her slender collarbone and fair skin to the cold air.

She struggled desperately, but it was futile, her eyes filled with rage and humiliation.

"Hold her down for me. Let me have some fun first, then we can interrogate her slowly!"

The head jailer licked his cracked lips, a flash of greed and malice gleaming in his eyes.

He reached out with his rough hand, grabbing toward Princess Zhaoyang's shoulder.

"Boss, we brothers should all get a turn!"

The few prison guards nearby joined in the clamor, their eyes full of desire. They looked greedily at Princess Zhaoyang, waiting for the head jailer's permission.

"Don't worry, everyone gets a turn! No one will be left out!" The head jailer laughed wildly, his evil grin growing even more hideous.

He slowly extended his rough, large hand, his grime-covered fingers inching toward Princess Zhaoyang like a beast.

"Let me go! Don't touch me!" Princess Zhaoyang struggled in terror, her wrists and ankles aching intensely from the binding ropes.

She twisted her body desperately, but every struggle only made it harder for her to move. The head jailer remained unmoved, the excitement in his eyes only intensifying.

"Tsk tsk, a beauty like this isn't something one comes across every day."

The head jailer's voice was raspy and lewd. His fingers touched Princess Zhaoyang's fair skin; the sensation was cold and soft, instantly igniting the darkest desires within him.

Princess Zhaoyang shuddered, a wave of intense humiliation washing over her. She shook her head violently, attempting to avoid the disgusting touch.

But the head jailer's hand moved upward, wandering over her shoulder and the side of her neck.

Those filthy hands caressed her collarbone restlessly, as if admiring a fine piece of art.

"No, no! Let me go!"

Princess Zhaoyang screamed, her voice filled with despair and rage, but her resistance was futile.

The prison guards watched her helplessness and pain, simply standing to the side with cold sneers, none of them stepping forward to stop it.

"The more you resist, the more I like it."

The head jailer licked his cracked lips, a flash of greed and madness in his eyes.

His hand slid slowly down from Princess Zhaoyang's shoulder until it reached her bodice.

He roughly tore open her prison guard robe, revealing the glimpses of snow-white skin beneath.

"Ah!"

Princess Zhaoyang twisted in pain, but her strength was gradually fading with the passage of time.

She bit her lip hard, her eyes brimming with tears.

"Let me go! You beasts! You cannot treat me like this!"

The head jailer sneered, his fingers lightly brushing across Princess Zhaoyang's bodice, his filthy fingers leaving grime and stinging marks on her skin.

He ripped off his belt and sneered, "Beauty, big brother is here!"

Just then—Bai Fan finally broke through the limitations of the memory world and remembered the Void Heaven-Swallowing Art.

Suddenly, a powerful Aura erupted instantly from within Bai Fan, as if a gale had swept through the cell, stirring up countless dust motes and making the very air tremble.

The head jailer's pupils constricted sharply, and he looked at Bai Fan in horror.

He saw that his previously emaciated body was rapidly becoming robust.

Lean and well-proportioned muscles revealed sharp, defined contours on his body, as if carved, possessing perfect lines.

Even more shocking was that Bai Fan's injuries were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"You… how could you…"

Before he could finish speaking, the head jailer was lifted high into the air by an invisible force and slammed viciously against the prison wall.

"Is my woman someone you can touch?"

Bai Fan's voice was icy and bone-chilling, as if coming from the depths of Hell.

The chains that bound him snapped the instant his voice fell.

The next moment, the Golden Core cultivation that had been sealed within him for so long erupted like a mountain flood, surging into his limbs and bones.

His entire body was instantly enveloped in spiritual energy fluctuations, his Aura sweeping across the surroundings like a violent storm!

"Boom—"

A muffled thunderclap seemed to explode in the air, and the walls surrounding the cell trembled incessantly.

Before the prison guards could even react, they were shattered, body and soul, by this violent shockwave of spiritual energy.

Bleeding from their seven orifices, they knelt on the ground in agony. Before they could even let out a scream, they were all dead!

"Bang!"

Bai Fan moved, his figure sweeping toward the head jailer like a ghost, and he threw a punch!

The head jailer didn't even have time to offer any resistance before he was sent flying like a kite with a broken string.

"Bang!" He smashed through the prison door and slammed hard against the solid wall.

Blood sprayed wildly from the head jailer's mouth and nose. His body convulsed violently against the wall a few times, and before he could even let out a final cry, he was dead.

A thick scent of blood permeated the entire cell. Bai Fan scanned his surroundings coldly, his eyes as piercing as ice.

"I'd like to see who else dares to touch her!"

He reached out his arm, exerting a slight force, and a gentle spiritual energy supported the weak Princess Zhaoyang beside him, pulling her gently into his embrace.

Princess Zhaoyang's eyes were full of surprise and excitement as she leaned weakly against his chest, as if she had finally found a harbor for her soul.

"You are a Cultivator, and your cultivation is that of a legendary, one-in-ten-thousand great Cultivator!" Her voice trembled in disbelief.

Bai Fan nodded, a faint smile curling at the corner of his mouth:

"Yes, I discovered I had spiritual energy a while ago, but I just couldn't find a way to use it. Now I have, and no one will be able to bully you again."

"Can you really protect me?" Princess Zhaoyang asked softly, a glimmer of hope and longing in her eyes.

"Of course," Bai Fan's tone was firm and gentle, "I will never let anyone hurt you, even if it costs me everything."

Feeling the determination in his words, Princess Zhaoyang felt a warmth in her heart and clung tightly to him, as if she had finally found something to rely on.

"We need to leave here quickly, but before that, I must clear away these obstacles."

Bai Fan's tone was resolute. Without hesitation, he picked up Princess Zhaoyang in his arms and walked to the front of the prison gate.

"Hmph!" He snorted coldly, his voice carrying surging spiritual energy, and a powerful shockwave erupted instantly.

The prison gate was shattered amidst a deafening roar, wood splinters flying and dust rising into the air.

The prison guards outside hadn't even reacted before they were sent flying along with the door, their fates unknown, their screams swallowed by the nightmare before they could even be uttered.

"Someone is breaking out of prison!"

The patrolling guards were panicked and quickly surrounded them.

"Stop! You bold thief, how dare you break out of prison! Stop right there! One more step forward, and it's a capital offense."

The prison guards raised their spears, blocking Bai Fan's path.

"Perish!" A cold voice emanated from Bai Fan's throat.

Blades of spiritual energy shot out continuously from Bai Fan, slicing through the air mercilessly like sharp swords.

The prison guards had no power to resist; lines of blood appeared on their bodies, and blood splattered everywhere, the scene resembling a sea of blooming blood flowers.

Just like that, carrying Princess Zhaoyang, Bai Fan walked slowly out of the prison, letting bright red blood flowers bloom all around him.

When he walked out of the prison, his scholar's white robes had already been dyed into blood-stained garments.

The Imperial Guards stood to the side, trembling in fear, their expressions terrified as they looked at each other.

For a moment, no one dared to step forward.
