Chapter 9: Yin Attribute Creatures
Creatures capable of breeding and surviving beneath this place for millions of years would certainly not be too weak.
The various Cultivators did not possess Yin attribute Qi, so they were unaware of this.
Bing Cheng had even less of an obligation to inform them.
"Let them go in and scout the situation first; if there is no danger, it won't be too late for us to enter," Bing Ranxue said with a giggle.
The Cultivation World is cruel.
When it comes to fighting for an Opportunity, it is either you die or I die; peaceful resolutions are rare.
"Hmm…" Immortal Emperor Fang Luting nodded.
Not a few breaths later.
"Bang, bang, bang…"
The sounds of collision echoed from the mechanism passage, as if a massive creature wanted to emerge from within.
It wanted to smash through the mechanism and rush out.
Unfortunately, both the bronze and the mechanism were forged from hard, rare spirit ores, with a hardness surpassing even Saint Grade Magic Treasures; it was not so easily broken through.
"Ah, ah… it's too terrifying…"
Suddenly, another female Cultivator appeared via teleportation.
This female Cultivator's face was filled with terror, her complexion deathly pale without a trace of blood.
One could clearly feel her vitality constantly fading away.
Her skin was rapidly becoming aged and sallow.
Seeing this situation, Bing Cheng narrowed her eyes.
She felt a surge of wild Yin attribute Qi rampaging within the female Cultivator's body; that was the culprit.
The female Cultivator's cultivation was only at the He-Yi Early Stage; it was clear she could not withstand the impact of the Yin attribute Qi.
She took a light step forward.
With one hand, she grasped the female Cultivator's crown, and with the other, she pressed against her abdomen.
She simultaneously performed soul searching and absorbed the Yin attribute Qi within her body.
"So that's how it is." Bing Cheng learned the situation below.
Indeed, there were special creatures, and their method of attack was Yin attribute Qi.
The appearance of those creatures was somewhat similar to ghosts, yet they possessed physical bodies.
They were like materialized ghosts, massive in size, with both humanoid and beast-like forms.
Most of their strength was at the Late Unity Stage or Unity Peak Stage.
The female Cultivator had only exchanged a glance with those creatures before being injured.
After absorbing the Yin attribute Qi within the female Cultivator, Bing Cheng felt her own strength increase a little more.
A hint of fanaticism rose in her heart.
This was a tremendous Opportunity.
"Thank you, Fellow Daoist, for saving me…" The female Cultivator had now turned into a withered old woman, her voice incredibly aged, with only a single breath left hanging.
One could see the terrifying nature of those creatures.
However, this was also because the female Cultivator's cultivation was too low.
Bing Cheng turned to look at Immortal Emperor Fang Luting and the other three. "The four of you had best not enter, or you should send in Clones; it is extremely dangerous inside, and I will not protect your safety."
Immortal Emperor Fang Luting's body trembled slightly upon hearing this, and she nodded solemnly.
Bing Cheng took Bing Ranxue's hand and teleported inside.
The first thing that came into view was a world of dead silence.
Gusts of Yin wind blew, all appearing pitch black.
"Ugh, ugh…"
"Awoo, awoo…"
Various miserable roars were endless to the ear.
Beside Bing Cheng and Bing Ranxue was a strange creature.
It seemed to be canine, yet it had two heads, its mouth filled with sharp, small fangs, looking extremely hideous and terrifying.
Its entire body was a dark red color.
It was over twenty zhang in size.
Its body was surrounded by wild Yin attribute Qi.
The temperature around it was already below zero, incredibly cold.
Its cultivation was at the Unity Peak Stage, but its aura was comparable to a Half-step Yuhua Cultivator, incredibly powerful.
"Hell Hound?" Bing Cheng was stunned; she felt this creature before her looked somewhat familiar.
She looked down again.
She saw numerous abandoned buildings and countless corpses.
It was an entire scene of Hell.
Looking into the distance, she could not see the end of the world at a glance.
It felt like a different world from the Secret Realm.
Bing Cheng could not help but look serious and said in a deep voice, "Ranxue, be careful; these creatures possess Yin attribute Qi and are very powerful."
"Mm, I know, Sister." Bing Ranxue also put away her smile, her clothes fading away to reveal her body wrapped in golden dragon scales.
She transformed into a Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, bringing out all her strength.
"Awoo…"
The Hell Hound was not good with words, yet one could hear extreme anger in its roars.
It charged toward Bing Cheng and Bing Ranxue.
Its sharp claws were also shrouded in a layer of Yin attribute Qi.
It slammed down fiercely toward Bing Ranxue.
"Roar!"
Bing Ranxue was not to be outdone, opening her dragon mouth and letting out a roar.
The sound wave, wrapped in terrifying Qi, blasted out.
At the same time, her entire body of golden dragon scales erupted with brilliant golden light.
It seemed that everything illuminated by the golden light was scorched.
Especially for evil Yin creatures like the Hell Hound, the impact was even stronger.
One could see golden flames igniting on its dark red skin, instantly spreading over its entire body.
The sound wave and Qi impact further fueled the momentum of the golden flames.
"Awoo…"
The Hell Hound howled in misery.
But the next breath, the Yin attribute Qi around its body contracted, actually extinguishing the golden flames.
However, most of the Hell Hound's body was scorched, and pitch-black blood seeped from its wounds.
With the reinforcement of the Yin attribute Qi, its aura became even more terrifying.
Bing Cheng looked around and found that the various Cultivators were either fleeing or dying; there were very few Cultivators who could contend with the Yin creatures.
"Sister, I feel like I am not its match…" Bing Ranxue said.
"It is nothing." Bing Cheng had her cheat, and as long as she did not encounter a Yuhua Realm powerhouse, she could face them calmly.
With a wave of her hand.
A Formation took shape.
It was the Equality for All Array.
The Hell Hound's strength was suppressed to the Half-step Unity Realm, and its size also shrank significantly, now only a few zhang in size.
"Strange, could it be that its size is determined by the strength of its Yin attribute Qi?" Bing Cheng immediately thought of the creatures within the Small World of Dongfang City; the situation seemed quite similar.
Combining this with the changes after the female Cultivator was invaded by the Yin attribute Qi earlier.
It was as if… it was the power of the Yin element Law!
This discovery overturned Bing Cheng's previous guess, but the world cannot independently generate the power of Yin and Yang attribute Law; it requires specific circumstances.
For example, the place they were currently in.
Ecstasy.
If she could absorb the power of the Yin element Law, the improvement would be tremendous.
Thinking of this, Bing Cheng also set up sealing and suppression Formations.
She then walked in front of the Hell Hound.
She swung her sword, slashing continuously.
"Puchi…"
There were no surprises; the Hell Hound was killed by her.
Feeling carefully, she discovered that the Hell Hound actually had a Yao Beast core, so it belonged to the category of Yao Beasts.
And all the Yin attribute Qi was stored within the Yao Beast core.
Following the Hell Hound's death.
The Yin attribute Qi within the Yao Beast core slowly dissipated, as if feeding back into this world.
She hurriedly took out the Yao Beast core.
The Yao Beast core was pitch black, and the Yin attribute Qi within it was incredibly dense.
Bing Cheng drooled just looking at it; the Yin attribute Qi contained in one Yao Beast core was at least worth tens of thousands of High Grade taiyin spirit stones.
"Ranxue, do you want to eat it?"
