Chapter 9

No one expected that there would come a day when all the monsters in a Dungeon would be completely wiped out.

Every time one re-enters a Dungeon, the monsters inside are reset.

Never before has anyone been able to clear an entire Dungeon within twelve hours.

After all, this is a novice Dungeon, and those who enter are all novices.

They are novice Professionals with few skills, weak combat power, and no experience.

In particular, the Level 8 monsters in the deepest parts are not low in strength.

They are monsters identical to those found in the wild.

Yet Lin Moyu did it, and in less than ten hours.

He completely defied convention and shattered the record.

Principal Lu Yun thought about it a lot, but he simply couldn't make sense of it; he was completely numb with shock.

"Principal Lu?"

Seeing that Principal Lu Yun didn't respond, Lin Moyu called out again and even waved a hand in front of his eyes.

After a good while, Principal Lu Yun finally came to his senses and agreed repeatedly, "Right, right, right. I agree. I'll issue your City Exit Permit right now."

"Rest for a bit first. Once the other students come out, I'll take you all back."

Lin Moyu had proven his strength through practical action and obtained his City Exit Permit.

His plan could now proceed smoothly.

Principal Lu Yun returned to the table, and the other principals all looked at him curiously.

"Old Lu, what happened to you just now?"

"Why did that student come out early? Is there some kind of problem?"

"Yeah, he's not injured, is he? Why did he come out alone? Where are his teammates?"

Principal Lu Yun downed three cups of tea and took two deep breaths before speaking. "That was Lin Moyu. He cleared the novice Dungeon and killed every single Level 8 monster."

*Hiss!*

The principals all sucked in a breath of cold air.

Even Clan Leader Xia Dongyang, who was accustomed to great storms, showed a look of shock at this moment.

They noticed that Lin Moyu himself was already Level 7.

Ignoring everything else, going from Level 1 to Level 7 in ten hours was already a heaven-defying leveling speed.

Furthermore, being able to wipe out the Level 8 monsters in the Dungeon was enough to show how strong Lin Moyu's combat power was.

"Hidden classes are truly formidable," Clan Leader Xia Dongyang lamented.

That was the only way to explain it; Lin Moyu's class was exceptionally powerful.

"By this calculation, the Necromancer class should surpass the currently known rare classes and is fully comparable to legendary classes."

"I don't know how strong legendary classes are, as none of us have ever seen one. But we've all seen rare classes, and they aren't this efficient."

"I just wonder if he will remain this dominant after his level increases."

"True. For example, the Elemental Mage class Xia Xue awakened this time is actually just like this in the early stages; there's not much difference from other mage-types. But if she can obtain the 'Elemental Enhancement' passive skill, she would be comparable to a legendary class."

The principals were all experienced veterans.

They knew that some classes are very strong in the early stages but begin to weaken as they level up.

While other classes aren't much in the beginning but grow stronger and stronger as they level up.

Moreover, it depends on skills and talents; there are huge differences even between the same classes.

Among the hundreds of classes, all sorts of situations exist, making it hard to judge with a single word.

Principal Lu Yun glanced at Lin Moyu, who was meditating nearby, his heart filled with some anticipation.

"At least for now, Lin Moyu's Necromancer class is very powerful. Future matters don't seem to be our concern anyway."

"That's true. If he can get into Xiajing Academy, then it will be Xiajing Academy's concern."

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang said, "Little Xue has been competitive since she was a child. I'm afraid she's going to take a hit this time."

Principal Lu Yun couldn't help but laugh. "Not just this time. You're often away from home, but actually, over these past few years, Lin Moyu's grades have always suppressed Xia Xue's. Xia Xue has been second place for three years now."

"Is that so…" Clan Leader Xia Dongyang gave a bitter smile; Xia Xue had never told him that.

He understood his daughter's temper; the more she didn't say it, the more frustration she bottled up inside.

Lin Moyu was recovering his mental strength through meditation.

At this time, his number of Skeleton Warriors had reached 24, but his summoning space had a full 70 slots.

The number of Skeleton Warriors only occupied one-third of it.

He still needed quite a bit of time to fill the remaining slots.

The time reached 9:00 PM.

The twelve-hour Dungeon period finally ended, and the students who had entered were teleported out one by one.

After twelve consecutive hours of intense battle, many students' faces were filled with exhaustion.

But even more were filled with excitement.

The feeling brought by actual combat was completely different from learning from books.

Many people were stained with blood, and a thick bloody scent permeated the air.

A fresh breeze blew as a teacher released a skill to disperse the smell of blood.

The instructors from each school moved quickly to gather their students and take a headcount.

They checked to see if anyone was injured and needed treatment.

After a period of busy activity, the results were quite good; everyone was in one piece.

Most people had reached Level 3, and a few impressive ones had reached Level 4.

Xia Xue was also excited.

After a day of fighting, she was already Level 5, tying the record for the novice Dungeon.

"I definitely won't lose this time."

"The record is only Level 5, and I've already tied it."

"Where did that guy go?"

She didn't see Lin Moyu after coming out. After her beautiful eyes searched the surroundings, she finally saw Lin Moyu meditating in the distance.

"When did he come out?"

Then her eyes widened, and she froze on the spot as if struck by an electric shock, her whole body going numb.

"How is it possible? How did he reach Level 7?"

Chapter 13: Shenxia Empire Exchange

"Little Xue!"

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang's voice pulled Xia Xue back to her senses.

"Dad, why are you here?" Xia Xue walked up to Clan Leader Xia Dongyang and called out obediently.

At this moment, Xia Xue didn't look arrogant at all.

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang's eyes were filled with doting. "Let's go, we're going back."

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang had come with a car, so she didn't need to go back with the school bus.

Xia Xue followed Clan Leader Xia Dongyang into the car, but her eyes couldn't stop glancing toward Lin Moyu.

She really wanted to see through Lin Moyu, really wanted to know how this guy had reached Level 7.

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang noticed his daughter's gaze. "Are you competing with Lin Moyu?"

Xia Xue was like a deflated balloon. "Yeah, I lost again. This guy is too annoying."

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang laughed. "Do you want Dad to step in and solve…"

"No!"

Before Clan Leader Xia Dongyang could finish, Xia Xue had already decisively refused.

"My own business, I'll solve it myself. I won't keep losing to this blockhead."

Xia Xue huffed, the fighting spirit in her eyes burning fiercely.

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang laughed even more happily. "Fine, then Dad won't interfere. However, Dad should tell you that Lin Moyu came out at the ten-hour mark, and he came out after killing every Level 8 monster in the novice Dungeon."

Xia Xue was stunned again…

Killed all the Level 8 monsters…

She thought about how she had only just reached the Level 7 monster area and hadn't even seen what a Level 8 monster looked like.

She had felt that being able to solo Level 7 monsters at Level 5 was already very impressive.

She hadn't expected Lin Moyu to actually kill all the Level 8 monsters and come out two hours early.

In that case, if there had been more Level 8 monsters, maybe this guy would have reached Level 8 directly.

"Is the gap between me and him really that big?" Even if Xia Xue refused to admit defeat, she was now slightly discouraged.

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang said, "Every class has its own characteristics. Some classes are strong at low levels, while some will only show their strength later. A temporary victory or defeat is nothing. Compared to him, you have an advantage."

Xia Xue understood the meaning behind Clan Leader Xia Dongyang's words.

Her advantage was her family background—enough money and enough resources.

Whether it was items, equipment, or skills, she lacked nothing.

Whereas someone like Lin Moyu, who had no money or influence, would lack money, equipment, skills, and items later on.

"Anyway, I won't admit defeat. Even if you're in the lead now, I'll overtake you in the future."

Xia Xue was only dejected for two minutes before her fighting spirit ignited once again.

Clan Leader Xia Dongyang was very satisfied; this was how his daughter should be.

On the school bus, Gao Yang specifically sat with Lin Moyu. "I'm already Level 4, impressive right? Grinding monsters with a girl is very happy, oh, much more interesting than you soloing."

Lin Moyu looked at this idiot and wondered, where *wouldn't* he be happy?

"Holy crap, I didn't notice just now, you're already Level 7! How did you train?"

"Did you clear out all the monsters in the Dungeon?"

"I worked my butt off just to reach Level 4. How did you get to Level 7? Are you an immortal?"

Gao Yang's voice was exceptionally loud; the entire bus could hear him.

At this moment, everyone finally noticed that Lin Moyu really was Level 7.

When everyone else was around Level 3, and Level 4 was considered very impressive, Lin Moyu had actually reached Level 7.

Suddenly, the bus became lively.

Although many people were still afraid of Lin Moyu and the Skeleton Warriors he summoned,

it was also a normal psychological reaction for many to want to be close to the strong.

Some thought about going to talk to Lin Moyu to build some classmate rapport.

But Lin Moyu's silent and uncommunicative manner, combined with the terror of the Skeleton Warriors, still made them hesitate.

"Quiet!"

Principal Lu Yun barked, and the bus that had just become noisy immediately fell silent again.

Gao Yang rubbed his head. "I got too excited just now. Boss, can you take me along to level up?"

Lin Moyu said, "If there's a chance, I can."
