Chapters 265 to 287 Revised

Today in the reader group, a reader said that the final Great Melee should obviously have been the climax, but it had left him completely unmoved.

I reread and revised it, and it did indeed feel like it fell short. The dialogue wasn’t forceful enough, it lacked momentum, and it didn’t have that blood-pumping feeling of battle.

So today, I revised Chapters 265 through 287.

I made the dialogue more forceful, the momentum stronger, and the battle scenes more stirring.

Some parts received more revisions, while others received fewer.

Originally, each chapter was basically 2,000 characters. After the revisions, they were all at least 2,200 characters, with the longest exceeding 2,800.

I did a rough count, and I added at least 5,000 characters. Consider it my apology gift to everyone.

In the past, to meet the goal of writing 10,000 characters a day, I rushed my drafts every day, and there were indeed many places where I didn’t write carefully enough.
