Chase Him Down, Pack of Wolves

Koyata Stark was a character from the manga Bleach. Among all the Arrancar in Hueco Mundo, his killing ability ranked first. He was Espada No. 1.

Every Espada had a death aspect that symbolized them, representing one of the ten factors that caused human death.

According to Russell’s verification of Koyata Stark’s information, the death factor he represented was loneliness. Because he was far too powerful, weaker beings who approached him would have their souls automatically worn away until they died.

He was lazy, lacked fighting spirit, disliked battle, and always wanted to slack off when facing enemies. It was precisely because of this negative mindset that his ending was miserable—he was defeated and died!

But there was no question about his strength. If he had not been a level above everyone else, he would not have been lonely!

Boom—

Russell suddenly opened his eyes, and an indescribable aura swept forth like a tidal wave. His Spiritual Pressure was like an abyss, boundless and endless, filling every corner of heaven and earth.

The dense air instantly froze, as if an ocean were pressing down upon everyone. Every object in sight let out a wail from the depths of its soul.

The Vanguard monsters scattered around them bore the brunt of it. Their souls were crushed, and they fell in swathes like wheat being harvested. From high above, it looked like a stone had been dropped into a calm lake, sending ripples outward and clearing a vast area in the blink of an eye.

It had nothing to do with numbers. If their souls were not strong enough, no matter how many came, they would only die!

Natasha dropped to both knees, her trembling hands braced against the ground. Russell had deliberately avoided directing his Spiritual Pressure at her, but she was too close and was still affected.

This was the BOSS’s true power?

Natasha was utterly stunned, her mind blank as she could only repeat that thought over and over. At last, after holding on for a moment, she could no longer withstand the pressure and rolled her eyes before passing out.

Jason’s soul was exceptionally resilient. Perhaps because Russell summoned him so often, he managed to endure it on his own. Even so, he could only lie on the ground and stare helplessly, finding it difficult to move even a finger.

Corvus Glaive, who was receiving special attention, could not move at all. Even lifting an arm felt as heavy as a thousand pounds.

"Are you kidding me? Where did a monster like this come from? Why have I never heard of him before?"

Corvus Glaive leaned on his war blade with both hands, and even that had exhausted him. He knew there was no need to fight this battle. His chances of winning were fewer than the follicles on Thanos’s scalp—zero.

"Cero!"

Russell pointed a finger, firing a violent beam of energy through the air. The deep blue light gave off an icy chill, dyeing everything in its path blue.

Rumble!!

The Cero, more than ten meters in diameter, engulfed Corvus Glaive’s position. After one brief second of silence, it exploded with a thunderous crash. The ground shook, and gale-force winds swept in every direction with devastating force.

Corvus Glaive’s body melted away upon contact, but the war blade housing his soul remained undamaged. Countless fragments surged toward it, instantly restoring him to full strength.

"Fire! Unleash all firepower and blast the enemy to pieces! Air units, coordinate the attack!"

By then, he had lost all will to fight. Russell’s overwhelming strength had left him with nothing but fear. Perhaps afraid that his war blade would be destroyed, he immediately summoned a tractor beam after issuing the order for a full assault and fled back to the flagship high in the sky.

Russell was not surprised that he had failed to kill Corvus Glaive. Koyata Stark’s Character Card was in its complete Resurrección form. He still had several moves he wanted to try, so there was no need to end the battle so quickly.

He was just showing off, though he did not think of it that way!

"A character who fights with dual guns might be able to teach me quite a bit…" Russell’s gaze turned cold as he gripped Desert Eagle · Heavenly God in both hands and raised them toward the sky.

Infinite-Loading Cero!!

The massive warship high in the sky slightly adjusted its hull. Every missile port beneath it opened, densely packed and numbering over a hundred. Fully charged beam cannons extended as well, and in an instant, they all fired at once, raining down a magnificent barrage.

The small locust-like ships swarming around it also unleashed their full firepower, scattering green points of light across the sky…

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom—

The forest, spanning several kilometers, suffered devastating bombardment. Earth-shaking explosions rang out in succession as scarlet fireballs mixed with billowing black smoke and danced amid the raging winds, dazzling and blinding.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!!

A vortex rose from the flat ground, and a spiraling hurricane surged up from the sea of fire. Russell stood on an intact patch of ground, surrounded by an invisible wall of Spiritual Pressure. Everything that touched it shattered, crumbled, and vanished. He used his Spiritual Pressure to part the waves of flame, protecting Jason and Natasha.

The next second, blue points of light spread across his body. Space twisted, and cold blue radiance flashed across the horizon.

Russell raised both guns and instantly unleashed a massive swarm of Ceros. They covered a wide area, fired at tremendous speed, launched a thousand shots per second, and possessed terrifying destructive power.

The Ceros exploded high in the air, their deep blue light blazing brightly. In the blink of an eye, they covered the sky and dyed the entire world blue. The warship’s shields rippled as shockwaves swept outward one after another like hurricanes capable of destroying the world, instantly sweeping across the battlefield.

The giant warship’s shields barely held on, but the small ships around it were doomed. Countless explosions bloomed across the sky, and before long, they had all become fireballs falling toward the ground.

"General! The warship’s shields are down to half and dropping rapidly. We can’t hold out much longer."

Hearing his subordinate’s report of the dangerous situation, Corvus Glaive became even more fearful. A warship explosion could not kill him, but facing Russell, that monster, after landing was absolutely out of the question.

"Retreat! Retreat immediately!"

The gap between the two was so vast that only despair remained. Corvus Glaive feared that Russell would see through the weakness of his Immortal Body. At some point, he had subconsciously begun to believe that Russell could destroy his war blade.

Whoosh!!

Russell tapped the ground with his toes and instantly appeared before the warship. With every step he took, his aura rose another level. His icy gaze was transmitted through the monitoring devices into the warship’s control room, filling everyone with despair until they could not even breathe.

Within the clouds, ominous black storm clouds gathered. Powerful energy radiation disrupted the Magnetic Field, sending ripples through space.

"Chase him down, pack of wolves!!"

Russell spread his arms wide. Hazy mist swirled behind him, condensing into Silver-white Giant Wolves with crimson eyes. Their monstrous Spiritual Pressure carried an incomparably oppressive aura, plunging heaven and earth into silence.

This was the strongest move from Koyata Stark’s Character Card. By splitting his own soul into fragments, he created a pack of wolves that tore their prey apart.

These wolves were not weapons. Every single one was himself!

"General, a powerful energy reaction has been detected…"

Before the words in the command room had even faded, a chain of explosions sent everyone tumbling. The warship’s shield screen reached its limit, then vanished abruptly with a crisp crack.

The pack of wolves howled as they surged forward like predators chasing prey. They tore open the outer armor, bored into the warship’s interior, and wreaked havoc on its structure.

Boom! Boom! Boom—

Every giant wolf split from his soul contained terrifying Spiritual Pressure. Once they leaped into the warship and exploded, they brought unimaginable disaster upon it. Deafening explosions continued to erupt inside the vessel, triggering an irreversible chain reaction. Clusters of demonic fireflowers bloomed as rolling black clouds rose into the sky.

The scorching shockwaves caused secondary destruction, and huge numbers of parts broke free from the main body of the warship, falling like raindrops.

Black smoke rose from the warship, blotting out the sky. The entire vessel tilted as it plummeted toward the ground. Even after activating its isolation zones, it could not stop the pack of wolves’ assault.

Russell looked into the depths of space and used Sonído repeatedly over long distances, crossing space as he raced toward outer space. Destroying one warship had not cost him much effort, and there was still plenty of time left on the Character Card. He could not waste it just like that.
