Crazy Daisy
Daisy’s three abilities, combined, had even greater killing power. As soon as the battle began, she suppressed Hulk, every Black Hole Fist breaking his bones and splattering blood across the sky.
But Hulk’s defense and recovery were even stronger. With the Hulk’s recovery speed, combined with the Fiftieth Heaven Magnetic Field Rotation‘s Cellular Reconstruction, no matter how severe his injuries were, Hulk could recover almost instantly.
Even Hive was unable to inflict any effective damage on Hulk, so the utterly crazed Daisy stood even less of a chance.
But as time passed, the scales of victory slowly began to tip toward Hulk.
Daisy’s abilities were powerful, but they had already been strengthened to their limits. Hulk’s anger, on the other hand, was endless. It soared rapidly as the battle continued, with no upper limit.
And as Hulk grew stronger, the pressure he placed on Daisy also increased. That immense pressure, along with the stimulation of dancing on the line between life and death, accelerated the fusion of the three abilities within Daisy.
As the battle continued, Daisy’s adaptability to Gravitonium also began to take effect. Gradually, the whispers in her ears grew lighter and fewer, until they slowly faded away into nothingness.
After regaining her sanity, Daisy was no longer affected by Gravitonium, but recalling what she had done while berserk caused her even greater anguish. The pain of killing her own father and the guilt of destroying Earth directly crushed her into a breakdown.
"No…"
Daisy wailed shrilly and began acting wildly, as if doing so could make her forget reality.
But acting wildly was different from going insane. Going insane meant having no reason at all, while acting wildly meant going berserk while remaining conscious. The wilder she acted, the clearer her memories became. The clearer her memories became, the more she suffered.
Although she still only attacked without defending, she had changed her former fighting style of throwing punches entirely by instinct and began using more techniques.
As someone who had fused three abilities together, Daisy’s potential was actually extremely high. The three abilities complemented and strengthened one another, allowing her Magnetic Field Rotation to break past the limit of the Fifty Heavens and unleash even more powerful effects.
Battle was the best teacher. Daisy carefully comprehended the fusion of her three abilities during combat, borrowing Hulk’s immense pressure to accelerate the formation and evolution of her martial arts.
Finally, after clashing head-on with Hulk once more, inspiration struck Daisy. She casually threw a punch, and a pitch-black circular hole appeared before her.
Her Black Hole Fist had actually created a miniature black hole!
The power of that punch was also far beyond imagination. Hulk’s heavy punch vanished silently as it sank into the black hole.
"Hulk!"
Hulk let out a pained roar, but he did not retreat. He lifted his foot and kicked.
But after comprehending the true Black Hole Fist, Daisy’s strength instantly surpassed Hulk’s by far. With casual, effortless movements, she created miniature black holes and turned Hulk into a cripple.
Hulk grew even angrier and beat his chest as he roared, his body becoming even more solid. But no matter how sturdy his body became, it still had not undergone a qualitative transformation. Against Daisy’s Black Hole Fist, it remained as fragile as tofu, easily torn apart and swallowed.
Hulk’s recovery speed was extremely fast, but Daisy’s attacks were even faster now. Before long, Hulk was covered in wounds, with large portions of his limbs missing, and was clearly on the verge of collapse. No matter how furious he became, the speed at which he grew stronger could not match the speed at which Daisy destroyed him.
Just as Hulk was about to die in battle, Zhan Liu arrived to help.
Zhan Liu came over and kicked the dying Hulk away first, then sent a heavy punch toward Daisy.
Daisy did not care who the enemy before her was. She simply fought.
"Go to hell!"
"Go to hell, all of you!"
"Everyone deserves to die!"
"I even destroyed Earth, so why are you still alive?"
She cursed shrilly and hurled out another black hole, but this fighting method was not as effective against Zhan Liu. Unlike Hulk, who foolishly sent his body straight into the black hole, Zhan Liu went around it and attacked her real body directly.
Daisy unleashed Black Hole Fist after Black Hole Fist. In an instant, she created a dense mass of miniature black holes before her, and under the effect of gravity, those small black holes began merging with one another and evolving toward a larger black hole.
Zhan Liu let out a cold, mocking laugh. His body spun rapidly as he unleashed the Ultimate Cyclone Burst, grabbed Whitehall, who was pursuing him from behind, and pressed him toward the large black hole in front of them.
Whitehall’s Twin-Headed Armor possessed formidable defensive power, but its offensive power and techniques were utterly pathetic. Zhan Liu easily dragged his body forward and sent him crashing straight into it.
Whitehall was the person in charge of the World Destroyer Project, so he naturally understood better than anyone how terrifying and powerful Gravitonium was. Moreover, he was one of the few people who knew the truth behind Earth’s destruction.
When the enemy ahead suddenly became Daisy and a black hole rushed toward him, he screamed in terror, "Daisy, your father Carl is here with me! Stop! Carl, you have to hold on!"
Daisy was still acting wildly. By the time she heard Carl’s name and tried to stop, it was already too late. She could only watch helplessly as the large black hole collided with the armor opposite her.
Carl let out a scream of agony. His brain was being used beyond its limits, blood spurting from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth as he sprayed the face and head of the Daisy before him.
Daisy could have dodged originally, but the familiar head atop the Twin-Headed Armor and its concerned gaze clearly belonged to the father she had killed with her own hands. When she saw that her father was actually still alive, Daisy was naturally ecstatic. But immediately afterward, the Twin-Headed Armor was struck by the large black hole and Carl began spewing blood, causing her heart to nearly stop.
Terrified that she would kill her father a second time, Daisy’s hands and feet went numb. Her entire body trembled as she stared stupidly at Carl opposite her, her mind blank and all thoughts forgotten.
Although Carl’s head was splitting with pain and his ears rang while his vision blurred, when he saw the fear and worry in Daisy’s eyes, he felt that everything had been worth it. He hurriedly reassured her, "Daisy, don’t be afraid. Dad’s fine… Watch out for a sneak attack!"
Zhan Liu naturally would not let this opportunity pass. The instant Daisy spaced out, he circled behind her and drove his palm heavily into the back of her spine.
"Good disciple, your master will teach you another lesson!"
"The battlefield isn’t a place for spacing out!"
Daisy let out a scream of agony. A gravitational field erupted around her, forming a large black hole centered on her body that churned Zhan Liu’s right palm into nothingness.
Zhan Liu pulled back and retreated, exchanging a blow with the approaching Killmonger. As his right arm recovered, he laughed uproariously with delight.
"Haha… Not bad. You really are strong!"
"Come, come, come! Let your master see the technique you used when you destroyed Earth!"
Before he had even finished speaking, a vicious wind came from behind and slammed heavily into him, sending him flying.
"Hulk!"
When Zhan Liu had arrived earlier and kicked Hulk away, he had actually saved him. Under normal circumstances, Hulk could distinguish whether someone treated him with goodwill or malice. But Zhan Liu had beaten Hulk twice before, and counting this kick that sent him flying, this was already the third time.
Hulk held grudges fiercely. His thinking was as simple as a child’s: if you were good to him, he was good to you; if you were bad to him, he beat you up. He did not have the rationality to weigh gains and losses.
Since Hulk had appeared, the only person who had ever made him suffer was Zhan Liu. Everyone else had been beaten by him. Zhan Liu’s kick just now dredged up Hulk’s unpleasant memories. With new and old grudges combined, Hulk did not care whether this guy was an ally. He charged over and kicked him, repaying Zhan Liu in kind.
