Creating a World, Tired Like a Dog

Su Yu looked at the sci-fi city around him and was completely dumbfounded. He even wondered whether he had somehow wandered into a science fiction novel or movie.

Just then, Ya Er explained, "Master, there is no need to wonder. Have you forgotten that you have already been away from Earth for more than six hundred years?"

Su Yu smacked his forehead. "I forgot about that."

"If Master wants to know more, you can calculate it yourself or infiltrate the Heavenly Dao to see whatever you wish to know," Ya Er continued.

Su Yu nodded, then carried Su Yiyi back first. Earth had undergone earth-shaking changes, so he planned to learn about the situation before taking Su Yiyi outside.

Su Yu handed Su Yiyi over to Cang Nan, then released Erha to keep her company before returning to Earth alone.

Looking at everything before him, Su Yu immediately calculated with his fingers and learned that Earth had changed drastically over the past six hundred years. Its technological level had risen at an astonishing rate, and interplanetary travel was now possible—though only the truly wealthy could afford it.

The countries on Earth remained unchanged, but relations between them had become extremely peaceful. This was because aliens had first appeared before humanity a hundred years ago.

The aliens’ arrival had not been a good thing. They had come to invade Earth. Fortunately, there had only been five of them, but even so, Earth had needed to use its most powerful weapons to kill them. The people of Earth had also been badly weakened by those five aliens.

After that incident, Earth had devoted all its efforts to creating powerful weapons. They had placed all their hopes in technology. Although no aliens had come again during the past century, they still did not feel safe and continued desperately researching weapons of immense power.

After finishing his calculations, Su Yu merely smiled and shook his head. Those aliens had been genuine cultivators. No matter how advanced technology became, it could never defeat a slightly stronger cultivator.

Su Yu had just learned about the cultivation realms on Earth. There were five realms in total.

The Mortal Shedding Realm, the God Spirit Realm, the Supreme Realm, the Immortal Realm, and the Dominator Realm.

Of course, the Dominator mentioned here was different from the Four Great Dominators. The Dominator Realm here was far inferior to Su Yu, the Myriad Realms Dominator.

Those five realms were each further divided into twenty minor stages. Cultivators below the eleventh stage of the Mortal Shedding Realm could live for up to two hundred years, while those at the twentieth stage could live for five hundred years. A first-stage God Spirit Realm cultivator could live for a thousand years, and lifespans only grew longer from there. Dominator Realm cultivators could already live as long as the world itself. In other words, as long as this world remained, they would not perish.

There were only three Dominator Realm cultivators in the world where Earth was located.

The five people who had previously come to Earth had merely been at the eleventh stage of the Mortal Shedding Realm. They had found Earth by chance, so no one had paid attention to them.

However, a hundred years had passed, and the elders of those five had grown anxious. They had all begun searching for them, and Su Yu had calculated that they would find Earth in one month.

Earth was, after all, the place where Su Yu had been born. He could not simply watch it be destroyed. After thinking for a moment, he flashed away and arrived atop a mountain.

Using Dominion Power, Su Yu mobilized Earth’s spiritual energy. All the spiritual energy on Earth gathered in his hand, where he compressed it into a ball of light.

He wanted to make the spiritual energy explode and awaken Earth’s spiritual energy, allowing its people to begin cultivating and gain the strength to protect themselves.

Su Yu tossed the sphere of light into the sky and snapped his fingers. The sphere exploded instantly, and spiritual energy violently surged outward in every direction. The spiritual energy within the mountains, seas, lakes, flowers, grass, and trees all stirred in response. Earth had officially entered the era of spiritual energy revival.

Awakening Earth’s spiritual energy was not enough. Earth also needed time to rise. Su Yu came before the boundary wall of the Milky Way Galaxy and set up a barrier. For one hundred years, no one from outside the Milky Way Galaxy would be allowed to enter.

After one hundred years, those at the tenth stage of the Mortal Shedding Realm could enter. After five hundred years, those at the twentieth stage of the Mortal Shedding Realm could enter.

Those at the God Spirit Realm and above would never be allowed to enter the Milky Way Galaxy. After all, God Spirit Realm cultivators already possessed the power to destroy Earth, so Su Yu felt it was best not to let them in. Of course, Earth’s cultivators could leave whenever they wished in the future and return whenever they wished.

After doing all that for Earth, Su Yu wanted even more to try being a creator god. It really did seem fun.

After returning to his own world, Su Yu did not immediately go find Su Yiyi and the others. Instead, he began planning in his mind what his world should look like.

He definitely would not create a sci-fi world. To be honest, he was not particularly interested in such things. He preferred worlds like those of ancient times.

Once an idea formed in his mind, Su Yu began creating the world. He first created a pure land resembling a Secluded Paradise and placed it at the very center of the entire world.

Su Yu sent a voice transmission to Sun Wukong, telling him to bring everyone to that Secluded Paradise. Once Cang Nan and the others had left that palace, Su Yu directly destroyed it. The palace looked far too strange standing there.

Su Yu thought, since he was the Myriad Realms Dominator, why should he create only one world? A bold idea appeared in his mind. Since the worlds of Dominators were all boundless, he would divide his world into three layers.

Each layer would contain several continents, though he would separate them from one another. Every continent would feel like a different world. The continents on the first layer would be low-martial worlds: ordinary ancient societies, martial arts worlds, worlds with twenty-first-century technology, and so on.

The second layer would be middle-martial worlds, while the third layer would be high-martial worlds.

Su Yu planned to make three continents on each layer. After all, if he made too many, he would not be able to come up with that many ideas.

Who knew how long passed before Su Yu finally completed the first layer.

A martial arts continent, a continent ruled by an empire, and an ordinary continent with twenty-first-century technology.

Once he was done, Su Yu plopped down onto the ground. "I’m seriously exhausted. Being a creator god has killed a huge number of my brain cells."

After finishing, Su Yu did not really want to create the two upper layers anymore. They would be far more troublesome, so he decided to put them aside for now.

Just then, the Void Dominator appeared beside Su Yu. After looking over Su Yu’s world, he mocked, "Kid, what are you trying to do? You made three worlds at once? How the hell are you so damn impressive? This old man was exhausted to death just making one world back then!"

Su Yu weakly glanced at the Void Dominator. "Stop talking. I now know just how exhausting it is to create a world…"

Creating a world was not something that could be done with a few words. A world needed complete laws and systems, with every aspect properly arranged. Take plants and animals alone—getting all of them sorted out took ages.
