Creating Delta of Fate at the Start, My Group Friends Went Wild
Facing Kazuma Satou’s barking,
Hachiman Hikigaya grinned. Not only did he not care, he even found it oddly satisfying.
Heh heh, was this the wail of a loser?
The two searched even more enthusiastically.
Watching the two of them thoroughly strip the Archery Club’s underground area clean,
Kurisu Makise rubbed her forehead.
Were there even any humans here besides her?
"Hehehe."
Kazuma Satou glanced at the NPC Ayako Misumi. His eyes rolled, and he sidled over with a sly grin.
"Vice President, we cleaned up the Archery Club training grounds. Do you have any rewards for us?"
Kurisu Makise froze outright.
Hachiman Hikigaya stopped as well.
The air fell still.
78 Rat: "Hajima, are you even human?"
Shendu: "I can’t take it anymore. Is Humanity’s Foundation even worth ruling?"
Kaede Makidera: "You turned the Archery Club training grounds upside down and called it helping with the cleaning? Do you really think Mitsuzuri is an idiot?"
Kanako Himuro: "Hard to say."
Ayako Misumi: "What exactly do you mean by that?"
Rin Tohsaka: "The one in there might really be… what was it again, an AI?"
Ayako Misumi: "Huh?"
Inside the Archery Club,
"Ayako Misumi" swept her gaze around. Every "item" on the ground had been scooped up by Kazuma Satou and Hachiman Hikigaya, without a single one left behind.
She nodded gratefully and said:
"You really helped me out!"
"Hehehehe."
Kazuma Satou laughed like a total creep, his grin almost matching Tom’s expression.
"Your laugh…"
Kurisu Makise was getting goosebumps. Hugging her arms, she was just about to complain when a panel appeared before her.
You are currently within a quest area.Because your party has completed the free quest "Assist Mitsuzuri in cleaning the Archery Club, F."You have received a party-shared reward.Reward: Story Character "Ayako Misumi" Friendship +10, "Shirou Emiya" Affection +10, "Sakura Matou" Disgust -10, "Shinji Matou" Disgust +20.Kazuma Satou had been smiling at first, but when he saw that the last NPC had directly gained 20 Disgust toward them, he couldn’t hold it in any longer.
"Who the hell is Shinji Matou? You get hated for doing good deeds?"
Hachiman Hikigaya shook his head.
"No idea. Earlier, I found a doll called Shinji-kun. It was fucking useless and took up an inventory slot, so I tossed it in the trash."
"That NPC is such a damn bastard."
Kazuma Satou had learned enough from the Livestream Room to blurt it out without hesitation.
Hachiman Hikigaya patted his shoulder.
"Forget it. See if there’s anywhere else we haven’t searched?"
"I’ve searched pretty much everything. Only the restrooms are left."
Putting an arm around Hachiman Hikigaya’s shoulders with the air of a true brother, Kazuma Satou said:
"How about this? Don’t say I’m not loyal. I’ll search the men’s room, and you search the women’s room."
"?"
Hachiman Hikigaya sent a question mark.
Komachi Hikigaya: "If you search the women’s restroom, Mom said you can live in the restroom and never come home."
Yui Yuigahama: "Hikki, that’s kind of gross."
Yukino Yukinoshita: "Gross."
Hachiman Hikigaya: "I haven’t even searched it yet."
Saki Kawasaki: "I never thought you were this kind of person…"
Hachiman Hikigaya: "You bastard, Kazuma, you’re ruining my innocence!"
Kazuma Satou: "Hehe."
Kurisu Makise watched the two wrestle together.
"Enough fooling around. I’ll go take a look."
A dozen seconds later,
she came out of the restroom.
Kazuma Satou and Hachiman Hikigaya looked at her. Though neither asked, their eyes clearly said:
"What did you find in the restroom?"
Kurisu Makise’s face reddened slightly as she glanced at the item in her backpack.
"Nothing!"
Kazuma Satou wanted to ask more, but Hachiman Hikigaya pulled him back and signaled for him not to.
"Fine, then we’ve searched the club."
"Let’s go into the school building."
"Go, go, go! Let’s move!"
Just as they reached the entrance of the school building,
Kazuma Satou and the others stopped.
Not a NEET: "@Mysterious High Jumper."
Mysterious High Jumper: "What is it?"
Not a NEET: "Bro, what kind of school do you attend? Rat is shocked.JPG."
Not a NEET: "Look for yourself. Skeleton soldiers can spawn in a school building?"
Shirou Emiya looked at the photo Kazuma Satou had posted in the group.
Pale flames burned in their eye sockets, while ash-gray monsters made of nothing but stark white skeletons wandered inside and outside the school building.
What were those things?
Were these… Dragon Tooth Soldiers?
Shirou Emiya looked completely bewildered and unconsciously scratched the red mark that had appeared on his left hand.
Was this still Fuyuki City?
Where the hell had this brought him?
Cards Dropped! (4K)
Leinys: "Cadmus’s Dragon Tooth Soldiers?"
Kischur Zelretch: "In the modern age, no magus could possibly gather true dragon teeth as materials. They’re merely ordinary magecraft with the appearance of Dragon Tooth Soldiers."
Medea: "Oh my, are modern magi always so arrogant in both speech and conduct?"
Lin Zhen: "Aside from the Dragon Tooth Soldiers grown from the evil dragon’s teeth that Aeëtes of the Divine Era supposedly obtained from Athena, everyone else’s Dragon Tooth Soldiers are mere fodder."
Medea: "…You know quite a lot. That’s right, these Dragon Tooth Soldiers are indeed fodder, but they aren’t something these little brats can handle."
Su Ling: "Oh, really?"
"Fodder?"
Kazuma Satou looked at the skeleton soldiers of the Archer, Lancer, and Saber Classes. They really didn’t seem that strong.
Degraded Dragon Tooth SoldiersDescription: Familiars summoned by a certain mage Servant. They have branches throughout Fuyuki City."Suicide squad, let’s go."
"Okay, shut-in. Charge, charge, charge."
Hachiman Hikigaya stepped forward, keeping to his side.
"Good luck, you two."
Kurisu Makise moved aside. She couldn’t help it; her Craft Essence did not provide any early-game offensive ability.
Item Creation and Territory Creation both required materials.
Even with all the junk Kazuma Satou and the others had picked up earlier, she couldn’t make anything useful.
For now, she could only rely on them.
Kazuma Satou understood that as well, so he only called Hachiman Hikigaya over.
He grasped his red cloak and passively chanted the summoning of his weapon:
"Sharpen your fangs! Bow of Prayer!!"
Images rapidly flashed through his mind.
An ordinary young man in green had been raised by a Druid. He possessed neither great love for humanity nor a desire for justice; he merely could not stand what those lords did, and alone faced armies in the forest.
The young man’s bow was made from the sacred Nordic yew tree. In the end, he was buried beneath his only companion, a yew tree, ending an unrecognized life that no one understood.
A dark green crossbow condensed into existence, and the Yew Poison Arrows in his backpack automatically loaded themselves.
Kazuma Satou stroked the icy bow. Purple light rippled across it, as if it were affectionately responding to him.
He raised the bow and took aim. He had never trained in archery. If there was anything related to bows in his past, it was using a slingshot to shoot birds in the countryside as a child.
Yet he believed without question that he and the bow in his hands would hit the target.
"Snipe—"
The poison arrow pierced the Dragon Tooth Soldier’s eye socket, injected its poison, and detonated the toxin within its body.
A game notification appeared in the upper-right corner of his vision.
Kazuma Satou has killed: Common Archer Class Dragon Tooth Soldier. The Dragon Tooth Soldier turned to ashes, but it seemed to have left two items behind.
"It really drops loot! Hikigaya, the remaining two are yours."
Kazuma Satou lovingly stroked the bow in his hands.
"Yeah."
Hachiman Hikigaya understood what Kazuma meant. His arrows were at least Level 2 ammunition, perhaps even Level 3. There was no need to waste them on fodder.
But… his sword.
Would it really be useful?
At this point,
Hachiman Hikigaya was instead a little nervous, anticipation and fear clogging his throat.
