Crushing Blow

"Black Hole Cannon?"

Hearing Shuri’s words, Black Panther asked in astonishment, "Wait, wasn’t the Black Hole Cannon never successfully developed?"

"It wasn’t successful, but it’s good enough."

Shuri pressed the launch button. A pitch-black shell roared out of the barrel, then exploded at the center of the fleet, forming a tiny black hole.

This black hole had little power, and its pull was laughably weak, but all the remote-controlled ships around it lost control and stopped in midair.

The Phantom Legion behind them seized the chance to fire wildly, blasting the remote-controlled ships apart one after another.

"A black hole? That’s impossible!"

All the Sovereigns cried out in disbelief. How could a primitive planet possess such ultimate technology as a black hole? Not even the Three Great Empires had it!

"They’ve only grasped the basics."

A scholar said, "That black hole has no real offensive power, but it can block all signals, including our quantum signals. That’s why our fleet was wiped out."

"Even if it’s only the basics, it’s immensely valuable."

High Priestess Ayesha said, "Raise Earth’s priority level. Their metal and black hole technology are important to us."

"Yes, High Priestess."

Everyone nodded. The general asked, "High Priestess, what should we do next?"

High Priestess Ayesha said, "Nothing. Just watch. The Earthlings are far stronger than we imagined. This time, the allied forces may not be able to obtain the Space Stone."

"Supreme Star’s fleet was completely wiped out?"

Both Ronan’s allied forces and the Xandarians were shocked. The Earthlings had destroyed the Sovereigns’ remote-controlled ships—and done so with ease. It was unbelievable.

Was Earth really just a primitive planet? "Looks like we hired the right people this time."

Nova Prime beamed with joy. Her instincts told her that the Earthlings would bring her even more surprises.

"A bunch of trash. They brag about how noble they are every day, yet they can’t even beat a bunch of primitives."

Aboard the Dark Aster, everyone cursed furiously. Tivan was no exception. It was utterly humiliating. He had even praised them before.

Their opening move had gone badly, and Ronan was somewhat irritated. He ordered, "Green Pirate Group, lead part of the pirate groups in attacking the left flank of the Xandarian allied forces. Two-Headed Demon, lead the Ravagers in attacking their right flank.

"The rest of you, get ready. As soon as either flank breaks through, we’ll immediately attack Xandar from the front and destroy their fleet."

The Green Pirate Group was a Skrull Empire legion. The troops Ronan assigned to them were all regular soldiers from other factions.

Two-Headed Demon was the battle commander sent by the Ravagers Alliance, on the same level as Nick Fury. The troops under his command were all genuine Ravagers.

As for the rest, they were all Kree Empire forces. They were the most eager to destroy Xandar.

The pirate captains exchanged glances and nodded. "All right."

Then, the Skrull allied forces and the Ravagers army set off at the same time, flying aggressively toward the left and right flanks of the Xandarian allied forces.

"With the strength of the Skrull allied forces and the Ravagers army, victory is guaranteed."

Tivan said with a smile. Everyone nodded. As one of the Three Great Empires, the Skrull Empire had no reason to lose to Earth primitives.

Inside the Nova Corps flagship, a centurion frowned and asked, "Prime, I believe the left flank will be fine, but can those people on the right really be trusted?"

On the left were the Earth Allied Forces led by Wang Bert, while on the right was the criminal legion from Celestial Head.

That was right—the legion formed by Wang Bert’s servants. Natasha and the Guardians of the Galaxy were over there as well.

"Mr. Wang said he left behind an earth-shattering trump card over there. No matter how many enemies come, they’ll die."

Nova Prime smiled. "You don’t need to worry. Even if something really goes wrong, we still have the Space Stone to fix it."

"That’s true."

Everyone nodded. They were extremely curious about what kind of earth-shattering trump card the Blood God had mentioned. On the left, Wang Bert said to Steve, "Director, it’s time for you to take command."

"Leave it to me."

Steve said confidently, "Tony, lead the Drone Armor legion and prepare to attack. Frank, command the Bio-High-Temperature People Corps. Black Panther, command the Six Chang Legion. This time, hit them hard and let them know the Earthlings aren’t pushovers."

"Don’t worry. We’ll hit them hard."

Tony and the others nodded repeatedly. Wang Bert said, "If possible, capture a Skrull warship. Skrulls can change into other people’s appearances. After this battle, they’ll definitely send spies to Earth. We need to prepare ahead of time."

Steve nodded. "Right. You reminded me. After this battle, there definitely won’t be few spies on Earth."

"That’s the inevitable price of becoming powerful."

Tony shrugged, leading the space-version Drone Armor out of the flagship. Frank commanded the Bio-High-Temperature People Corps as they followed close behind on Space Motorcycles.

As for the Six Chang fleet, it was also ready under Black Panther’s command.

It was worth mentioning that Super Heroes such as Electro and Inhumans such as Black Bolt did not move. They had other missions.

On the right, Black Widow Natasha shouted, "Prepare for battle! Anyone who dares run away or slack off will be executed on the spot. Once this battle is over, the Blood God will grant you freedom and release you from slavery."

"Long live the Blood God! Destroy those bastards across from us!"

The criminals roared. The Ravagers on the other side were powerful, but they might not be impossible to fight. Compared to them, the Blood God was truly terrifying. They did not dare disobey his orders.

Inside a flagship, Yondu shouted at Star-Lord, "Quill, get in a ship and charge in first. Bring us some good luck."

Star-Lord snapped, "You’re using public business to settle a private grudge!"

"So what if I am? I treated you so well, raised you from childhood, and what did you do? Every day after I fell on hard times, you came to laugh at me?"

Yondu shouted angrily, "Luckily, heaven has eyes. The Blood God recognized my abilities, made me commander of this flagship, and assigned you under my command. Quill, if you don’t like it, try running away. You’re best at that anyway."

"Just try me… I’m not running away. The Blood God is my fellow countryman. Why would I run?"

Star-Lord caught himself halfway through and snorted. "Yondu, just wait. Once I earn some merit, I’ll definitely turn you into a slave again."

A chorus of jeers rose around him. Star-Lord snorted and walked toward the back.

"This time, I’m done for. The Blood God is really something. I’m his fellow countryman too—well, half a fellow countryman. Why can’t he look after me a little?"

Star-Lord sighed repeatedly. Just as he reached the hangar, a voice suddenly came through the communicator. "Isn’t this our Star-Lord? Why are you hanging your head? Weren’t you pretty arrogant a few days ago because you were the Blood God’s fellow countryman?"

Star-Lord froze and looked outside. He saw Rocket, Groot, Drax, and Gamora sitting in the Milano, grinning at him.

"My Milano!"

Star-Lord cried out in delight. Rocket said, "It’s mine, but I’m feeling generous, so I’ll let you come aboard as my copilot."

"It’s mine. Open the hangar already."

Star-Lord eagerly entered the Milano and looked around. Though it had been redecorated, it was still essentially his Milano.

Star-Lord was overjoyed. "The Blood God repaired it for me? Haha, that’s my fellow countryman for you."

"I’ll say it again, it’s mine. Sit down already. The battle is about to begin."

Rocket said impatiently. Star-Lord gave him the middle finger, went to the copilot’s seat, and sat down. Then he asked in a low voice, "When are we planning to run away?"

"Weren’t you just going on and on about your fellow countryman?"

Rocket mocked. Gamora and the others rolled their eyes as well. Gamora said, "Sorry, but we’re not planning to run. We have to stop Ronan from getting the Space Stone and the Power Stone."

Drax shouted, "I’m going to kill Ronan."

"The Blood God said that if I do well in this battle, he’ll give me this ship. He’ll even hire me to work for him in the future. I’m not missing such a great opportunity. The Blood God is a golden thigh."

Rocket said, "Hold tight. We’re moving out."

"You’re really going?"

Star-Lord looked at the Ravager ships drawing ever closer ahead and could not help sighing. It seemed this battle was unavoidable.

On the left flank of the Xandarian allied forces, the Drone Armor legion and the Bio-High-Temperature Clone Corps had already met the Skrull allied forces head-on.

"Space Motorcycles? Iron armor? What outdated war machines. Primitives really are primitives."

The Skrull commander sneered and ordered the Skrull warships to open fire together. Energy beams and energy blasts densely rained down on the Drone Armor legion and the Bio-High-Temperature Clone Corps.

"Raise shields."

Tony immediately controlled the Drone Armor to raise their Vibranium shields and form a vertical formation in front. Then, all the Vibranium shields connected together, becoming a massive energy shield that blocked every energy attack.

"Keep advancing."

Tony gave another order. The Drone Armor in the rear pushed forward in unison, and the entire legion advanced steadily and methodically.

"What kind of metal is that? It’s so durable? Keep firing. Also, charge the main cannons and prepare to attack."

The Skrull commander was somewhat surprised, but he quickly gave the order. The warships continued firing, yet they could not break through the shield formation’s defenses at all.

Before long, a flagship’s main cannon finished charging, and a massive energy beam blasted fiercely toward the shield formation.

"Scatter!"

Tony shouted before the main cannon fired. The Drone Armor withdrew their Vibranium shields and scattered to the sides like little bees, causing the main cannon to miss.

The Skrull commander frowned. Just as he was about to give another order, the Drone Armor reformed their shield formation.

Then, a cannon barrel extended from the front of the formation. A massive blast of energy roared out and struck a Skrull warship, which exploded with a thunderous boom.

"Damn it!"

The Skrull commander flew into a rage and immediately ordered all warships from every faction to fire together.

By then, the Bio-High-Temperature Clone Corps was already close to the Skrull warships. They flew out from behind the Drone Armor in unison and crashed toward the warships at top speed.

"Don’t let them get close! They should be the explosive legion the Ravagers mentioned."

The Skrull commander shouted. No one dared be careless. They sent fighters to strafe the Bio-High-Temperature Clone Corps wildly, and soon, large numbers of Bio-High-Temperature Clones exploded in midair.

"What matters most for cannon fodder? Numbers."

Frank sneered. Although many clones were destroyed, countless others remained. They rammed into fighters and warships in a frenzy, then exploded with thunderous booms, inflicting heavy losses on the Skrull allied forces.

The Drone Armor took the opportunity to charge forward and fire powerful space missiles at the warships. They were small and agile, making them difficult for either warships or fighters to hit.

With the efforts of the clones and Drone Armor, the battlefield gradually descended into chaos.

"Almost time."

Tony’s eyes flashed as he remotely controlled a stealth Drone Armor to quietly approach the Skrulls’ core flagship.

Then, the armor activated its weapon system and slammed viciously into the Skrull flagship’s Defense Shield.

The dim space suddenly lit up with a dazzling white light. Within that light, the Skrull flagship was reduced to ashes.

"Was that a nuclear weapon?"

Both sides were shocked. They were not shocked by the nuclear weapon’s power, but by the fact that the Skrulls had been foolish enough to let a nuclear weapon get so close!

In truth, the Skrulls had not detected the nuclear weapon at all—the nuclear weapon was inside the Drone Armor, and the Drone Armor used Dark Elf stealth technology. It was the product of Tony and Ivan’s collaboration: the Nuclear Bomb Stealth Armor.

Carol, who was fighting Gladiator fiercely, was startled. "You even used nuclear weapons?"

"Earth has recently been discussing unification, so nuclear weapons have become far less useful. We might as well let the aliens have some fun with them."

Wang Bert said, "That one was a Russian nuclear bomb. Its power was pretty good. We’ll buy from them again next time. They have plenty in stock anyway."

"Again?"

Carol was speechless. Wasn’t that a little too brutal?

"I never expected Earth to become this powerful in just over twenty years."

Carol sighed in amazement. With Earth’s current strength, it absolutely qualified to enter the interstellar era.

The Skrulls had more than one flagship, but the one just destroyed had been their command flagship. The remaining fleet immediately fell into chaos without a leader. How did they know which one was the command flagship? Did they even need to ask who their logistics supervisor was?

"All forces, attack!"

Steve shouted. The Blood God and Six Chang fleets launched their attacks together. At the same time, a flash of light appeared in the sky, and several Chitauri flagships and a Dagger Battleship appeared at once, launching a furious assault downward.

That was right, the Earthlings had hidden forces in ambush as well. Caught in a pincer attack, the Skrull allied forces quickly collapsed. With no command structure, they soon descended into complete chaos, each fighting on their own.

Seeing this, Steve immediately commanded the warships to divide and destroy the allied forces. Tony led a group of Drone Armor toward a Skrull flagship, intending to capture it.

"The left flank has fallen."

Ronan the Accuser’s expression was incomparably grim. He had never expected the Skrulls to lose so quickly and so miserably.

Although the Skrulls had not brought all their advanced technology, they were still regular troops. Why had they failed against a group of Earth primitives? "The Earthlings are much stronger than we imagined."

Tivan’s expression was somewhat ugly. What Three Great Empires? It was utterly embarrassing.

Tivan took a deep breath and said, "The Ravagers army should be fine. Breaking through from the right is the same."

This time, no one agreed. Everyone stared at Tivan expressionlessly. Hadn’t he said the same thing last time?

Tivan was somewhat embarrassed. He said, "This time, the Ravagers army will definitely win."

On the right flank, the Ravagers army and the criminal army had already begun a full-scale battle. Though the Ravagers army was inferior to regular forces, dealing with the criminal army should not have been a problem. In a short time, the criminal army had fallen into a disadvantageous position.
