Descent

No one knew what grudge the Spectre had against magicians. Perhaps it had something to do with how, from the moment he was born, he had dealt with a crowd of magic-wielding people. In the original story, the Spectre had purged Earth's magicians and openly proclaimed that he would eradicate magic as a power system. Now that he had come to the main universe and sensed that something was wrong, he had once again launched a purge against Earth's magical community.
