Asgard. Thor's palace, meditation chamber. Known as the Soul Furnace on Asgard and the Quantum Generator on Earth, it was a bed-like machine often used by Asgardians to examine the body and mind. Simply put, the Asgardian gods used the Soul Furnace as a medical device. Through Thor's influence in Asgard, Stephen Strange had requisitioned a Soul Furnace.
