Devouring a Neutron Star, Fusing with the Phoenix Force

Just as Thanos's fleet prepared to change course and march on Earth. A stream of golden light appeared on the distant horizon. Led by a Nova Corps Centurion clad in armor and a helmet bearing a star-shaped emblem. Over a hundred Nova Corps members sped through space to reinforce Xandar. The Nova Corps was a special organization dedicated to maintaining order in the universe. Similar to the Green Lantern Corps in the DC Universe, which was often wiped out wholesale. It was made up of more than five hundred members.
