Divinity Special Skill! Bone Scraper Blade!

Clang!

Skeleton God General · Swordsman Taromon walked up to Qin Feng in a few steps and casually tossed the giant bone sword in his hand onto the ground.

Then, he sat down heavily in front of Qin Feng.

The ghostly white flames in his eye sockets reflected Qin Feng's figure. He then waved a hand: "Sit."

Qin Feng knew that the challenge was over; it was time for him to receive his reward.

He wondered what this Skeleton God General wanted to say to him.

"If this guy has any designs on me, I won't be able to resist no matter what…"

"Might as well sit."

Qin Feng sat cross-legged quite decisively.

"Give me some wine from your Blue Star Civilization."

Great Swordsman Taromon reached out a hand toward Qin Feng. Sitting opposite him, his two-meter-tall frame still loomed significantly over Qin Feng.

Only…

"Wine?"

Qin Feng was a bit dazed.

Looking at the skeletal Great Swordsman Taromon before him, can this thing even drink wine?

However, since the guy asked for it, Qin Feng didn't overthink it.

He used the god-given book to directly create a jar of Shaodaozi and handed it over.

Great Swordsman Taromon extended a skeletal palm, took the ceramic jar, and looked at it with a hint of curiosity. Then he opened it, lifted the jar, and poured it into his mouth.

"…"

Qin Feng watched, somewhat speechless.

The Skeleton God General across from him was guzzling the wine, yet the liquid just spilled onto the ground, soaking his skeletal body.

"This wine is not bad," Great Swordsman Taromon remarked with a sigh of emotion.

Watching a skeleton drink wine was truly absurd, so Qin Feng couldn't help but ask, "You don't have a tongue; can you even taste it?"

Great Swordsman Taromon chuckled. "My entire body is made of bones, yet I can still speak."

Qin Feng shut his mouth.

Indeed, normally speaking, a skeleton talking was already preposterous enough.

But considering this guy was a Skeleton God General, a personal guard of the God of Bones… a figure of this level would naturally have many miraculous methods.

He looked like a skeleton, but giving himself a sense of taste or smell shouldn't be very difficult.

Of course, that wasn't the point.

The point was that after finishing the wine, Great Swordsman Taromon raised a hand toward Qin Feng.

He actually displayed three skills to Qin Feng!

The skeleton swordsman's white teeth clicked together. "Pick one of these skills; I can teach it to you."

Qin Feng focused his gaze.

——

【Bone Scraper Blade (Ancient-Grade Skill): Divinity Special Skill. Consumes 7 points of Divinity. Charges for 3 seconds, then dashes forward up to 120 meters, attacking all enemies in the path. For the attacked enemies, one of their 'damage reduction' attributes will become invalid for 10 minutes! This skill has a 60-second cooldown; effects do not stack.】

【Deathfire Forging (Ancient-Grade Skill): Divinity Special Skill. Consumes 10 points of Divinity. After activation, your fire damage will completely ignore the target's fire resistance for 60 seconds. Cooldown: 600 seconds.】

【Armor of Bones (Ancient-Grade Skill): Divinity Special Skill. Consumes 15 points of Divinity. After activation, Physical Defense and elemental resistance are doubled and cannot be penetrated for 60 seconds. Cooldown: 600 seconds.】

——

These three skills were all Divinity Special Skills!

What was a Divinity Special Skill?

It was a skill that required the consumption of Divinity. The effects and priority of such skills were completely above any other skills or special effects!

For example, with 'Deathfire Forging,' once activated, no matter how much fire resistance or 'Fixed Defense' the opponent had, it would all be useless—total penetration!

For example, with 'Armor of Bones,' once activated, one's own defense could not be penetrated; no matter how much penetration attribute the opponent had, it would fail to take effect.

Of course, this had a 'strongest spear versus strongest shield' feel to it.

In the God Forsaken Game, what happens if both are Divinity Special Skills and their effects conflict?

It would be decided by the amount of Divinity consumed by the skill to determine which side takes effect and which side is suppressed.

For example:

If 'Deathfire Forging' is used to attack 'Armor of Bones,' the former consumes 10 Divinity while the latter consumes 15. The result would be…

Deathfire Forging is suppressed!

Armor of Bones takes effect!

If both consume the same amount of Divinity, then neither effect takes place.

Whether it is divinity armament or Divinity Special Skills, they all follow this rule.

Therefore, regarding the Divinity rule effects of divinity armament, consuming more Divinity doesn't mean it's worse; rather, in the later stages of Divinity rule confrontations, it provides a crushing advantage.

Divinity Special Skills were the same!

However, one thing to note was that Divinity Special Skills themselves did not come with Divinity; they required the help of 'divinity armament' to be released.

After all, at this stage, no player could yet integrate Divinity into their own body.

They all had to rely on divinity armament.

"To think they are Divinity Special Skills…"

Qin Feng looked at them, feeling a bit emotional.

Because in his nine years across two previous lives, he had never obtained a single Divinity Special Skill!

He only had one divinity armament, and it was quite trashy.

Because of this, he couldn't even enter the Order Land; he hadn't even touched the threshold… After all, in his previous life, Qin Feng had to form a group just to kill the Six-Fingered Warlock later on.

It was clear that Qin Feng's level in his previous life really wasn't that high.

Of course.

The Qin Feng of the previous life had still obtained Ancient-Grade skills.

However, just as not all Mythic equipment was divinity armament, not all Ancient-Grade skills were Divinity Special Skills.

Facing the three skills offered by the skeletal Great Swordsman Taromon, Qin Feng pondered.

Which one should he choose?

First, the second skill, 'Deathfire Forging,' could be excluded. Since Qin Feng didn't have any inherent fire damage, this skill was essentially useless.

Even if the skill wasn't weak, Qin Feng couldn't specifically choose it and then try to stack fire damage later…

That would be putting the cart before the horse.

Secondly, 'Armor of Bones' could also be excluded.

This skill would make him very, very tanky after activation, but Qin Feng was already very, very tanky!

For now, the new Reincarnation Buff of '90% damage reduction' was already more than enough.

"I still have to choose Bone Scraper Blade."

Actually, Qin Feng didn't feel this skill was perfect either.

Because it required a 3-second charge.

But among the three skills, this one was indeed the most useful… after all, its effect was to make one of the target's 'damage reduction' attributes invalid!

One must ask, what did God Forsaken Game players rely on for damage reduction in the late game?

One was base defense and Fixed Defense; these two were calculated together to get a base damage reduction.

Then there was 'damage reduction' from multiple sources!

Take Qin Feng, for example.

Qin Feng's damage reduction came from many aspects:

The 60% damage reduction from the 'Ascension Machine' armor, the 32.7% damage reduction from the 'Death Smokescreen' leggings, and the 28.8% damage reduction from 'Annavia's Feathered Gloves'—these three were fixed damage reduction attributes.

There was also the special effect from Death Smokescreen: 'undodged damage is reduced by 50%,' and the additional effect of the skill Integrate into Darkness: '40% damage reduction while stealthed.'

Finally, there was the Reincarnation Buff he just got: 90% damage reduction!

When these reductions were stacked and multiplied together, Qin Feng's final damage reduction reached 99.4307%.

And the effect of 'Bone Scraper Blade' was to make one of these damage reduction attributes invalid!
