Drinking alcohol can cause trouble

Xu Bing understood, hurriedly turned to look at General Manager Chen in the audience, and bowed to express his thanks.

"Thank you, General Manager Chen, I will definitely work hard."

Chen Mo listened to the employee's thanks and nodded expressionlessly.

He thought to himself, if it's just this kind of thanks, it's completely unnecessary.

After the commotion caused by one of the grand prizes, the lucky draw continued, but this time everyone was filled with unprecedented enthusiasm, their eyes frequently falling on the suitcase beside the lucky draw box.

"General Manager Chen, this is the hotel I booked. All the requirements have been arranged according to the Group's original team-building requirements. Will you be going over tonight?"

Wei Yan walked to Chen Mo's side and asked in a low voice.

"I won't go. You can organize the team-building tonight."

Chen Mo shook his head slightly. He had no requirements for food anymore; the Group's cafeteria was staffed by star-rated chefs. If there was ever something he really wanted to eat, he would just mention it to Sister Hong.

For example, if he wanted to eat lobster, he would say something in the evening when Sister Hong called Yang Duoduo to go back.

"The employees don't seem to have had lobster in a long time. Let's have some lobster."

After that, lobster would definitely appear on the menu at Tomorrow Cafeteria for the next few days.

So, basically, he could eat whatever he wanted at the cafeteria, and there was absolutely no need to go to the team-building event.

"Understood, General Manager Chen."

Wei Yan nodded.

"By the way, how many bottles of red wine were ordered this time?"

Chen Mo suddenly thought of the team-building tradition he had established.

"General Manager Chen, there are currently about 3,000 employees in the Group, so we ordered 6,000 bottles of red wine this time."

As Wei Yan said this, he suddenly recalled the surprised expression of the hotel manager.

That red wine was 1,000 per bottle, and 6,000 bottles meant 6 million.

Plus the food for the 3,000-person team-building event, the cost of this team-building had actually reached 13 million.

A single team-building event consumed 13 million in funds.

Probably only General Manager Chen could do this for the company's employees.

"Hmm, no problem. Go ahead and get busy."

Chen Mo waved his hand. He found Wei Yan much more pleasing to the eye now.

Nowadays, everything was basically being done according to his wishes.

Hmm… except for the live streaming stuff.

He looked toward the lucky draw, which was now nearing its end. The last special prize ticket had been drawn by an employee from Nanhe Coffee.

There was nothing left to do at the sports meet, and he wasn't needed for anything else.

So he got up and walked directly out of the stadium.

Seeing this, Shen Rou hurriedly followed.

"You don't need to follow me. After the sports meet ends, there's a company team-building event; you can go to that."

Chen Mo looked at Shen Rou, who had followed him, and spoke softly.

"No!"

Shen Rou shook her head.

Chen Mo didn't say anything more and continued walking outside.

Yang Dahai had already parked the car at the entrance of the stadium.

The next morning, at the Mingri Group Presidents Office, Chen Mo organized some company documents and then leaned back comfortably in his boss's chair, picking up his coffee and taking a relaxed sip.

By now, the money for December had basically been spent, and as for the money for January, he had already planned to spend almost all of it through year-end bonuses, year-end project bonuses, etc.

After January ended, it would be February, and then the end of March.

The end of March was the settlement time for the special mission. He wondered what the system would reward him with after this special mission was completed.

Although it hadn't given any substantial rewards before, it had opened up a lot of privileges, and those privileges could be considered to have improved his life in a certain sense.

Tap, tap, tap! A sound of footsteps came, and looking up, he saw Shen Rou walking over carrying some documents.

"General Manager Chen, these are some basic projects for the company. Please approve them."

As Shen Rou spoke, she placed the documents on the desk in front of Chen Mo.

Projects? Chen Mo felt a bit wary. He sat up, opened the documents on the desk, and looked at them, then breathed a sigh of relief.

The content of the entire document was basically about some procurement matters for the Group.

Wasn't procurement just spending money? He wished there were more of these good things.

Chen Mo signed the procurement projects one by one without hesitation. While signing, he asked casually.

"Wasn't today the day all the company managers were supposed to come to the Group for a meeting?"

"Yes, General Manager Chen. Some company managers have already arrived, but since there is still an hour until the meeting, I didn't rush to mention it."

"Hmm, why did they come so early?"

Chen Mo looked up at Shen Rou, feeling a bit surprised.

Hearing this, a faint smile appeared on Shen Rou's face.

"I looked into it. A few managers got drunk last night. We wanted to send them back, but once a person is drunk, it's hard to control them. In the end, there was no other way, so we just opened a Room at the hotel and took them to the hotel Room."

"They came so early because they probably woke up at the hotel and came straight here."

Oh! Chen Mo nodded slightly, becoming interested in the few managers who had gotten drunk.

As the saying goes, drinking leads to trouble. It was possible that these managers might have delayed work during some instance when they drank too much, leading to company losses.

"Who are the managers who got drunk?"

"The managers who got drunk are Yao Beiguo and Tao Ze from the BL Game Club, Meng Xiuhong from Zhenhao Canned Goods, and Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming from the Pet Park."

Shen Rou recalled and listed the names of the managers who had gotten drunk.

"Meng Xiuhong? How did she get drunk too?"

Chen Mo was stunned when he heard this. He knew Meng Xiuhong and had met her a few times; she didn't look like someone who would drink.

"It seems that the reason these people were able to get drunk is because of Meng Xiuhong."

Shen Rou hesitated for a moment before speaking slowly.

"What did Meng Xiuhong do?"

Chen Mo was even more confused.

"General Manager Chen, you know about General Manager Meng's experience, right?"

Shen Rou asked first.

"Hmm!"

Chen Mo nodded.

He was aware of the fact that Meng Xiuhong had been betrayed by her own husband and her own sister.

"It seems that during the team-building, for some reason while discussing something, Meng Xiuhong talked about this experience of hers."

"Then, the crowd of managers all stood up for her. General Manager Meng saw so many people on her side, was moved, and drank a little too much."

"Then, for some reason, Tao Ze started crying, looking very sad, and began drinking cup after cup. Oh… he wasn't drinking alone; he pulled Yao Beiguo along to drink with him."

"Finally, there were Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming. At first, it seemed that General Manager Xu Zhengming wanted to comfort Meng Xiuhong, so he drank a lot. Then, for some reason, he started crying too. Then General Manager Pang Tao started to comfort General Manager Xu, and he started drinking along with him too."
