The highest alert swiftly spread across the entire world. There was no need for deliberate concealment, much less foolish deception. The Parademon army, the war legion from Apocalypse, had launched a full-scale assault on Earth. The slaughter began. These Parademons, possessed of independent personalities and intelligence, had humanoid bodies, slightly hunched backs, and wings harder than blades growing from their backs for flight. Their entire bodies were a fusion of biology and machinery.
