Entering the Fray

Apokolips was a planet of despair. The vast land lay cracked open, with the stench of sulfur and lava flowing through its fissures. The scorching, brutal environment baked the people here almost every moment of every day. The people of Apokolips suffered endless oppression, shown no mercy. Kidnapped from other worlds, they were called "the lowly ones," occupying the bottom rung of society. They were routinely abused, used to provide emotional value for the upper classes, and even death could not bring them an end.
