Failed again

The reason the people of the Righteous Path haven't done much is likely because the Evil Young Master and the Holy Lord are only gathering small Powers of the Demonic Path.

Furthermore, there are Martial Venerables within the Demonic Path, while the Evil Young Master and the Holy Lord are only at the Martial Emperor Realm; they simply lack the ability to make the entire Demonic Path submit.

They are just causing minor trouble, so Qin Ming doesn't care.

Moreover, with the Evil Young Master and the Holy Lord being so high-profile, people from the Righteous Path will surely cause trouble for them, seeking to make a name for themselves by killing them.

They will likely be quite busy for a while.

"Our Sect's strength is still too lacking. If we had a hundred Martial Emperors, it would be easy to find them no matter how well they hide," Qin Ming said with a sigh.

Jue Wuya also shook his head helplessly and said, "There's nothing we can do about that. After all, the Huayu Sect hasn't been established for long, and their talents aren't high either. Who knows how many will even be able to advance to the Martial Emperor Realm."

Qin Ming felt somewhat helpless. There wasn't much room left for the Huayu Sect's strength to improve because Medium Grade Spiritual Roots could only take them to the Martial King Realm at most. Breaking through the Spiritual Root's limitations to reach the Martial Emperor Realm was extremely difficult.

"Is there a chance to kill them this time?" Qin Ming looked at Jue Wuya expectantly.

"It's impossible. They only appeared briefly before hiding away again," Jue Wuya shook his head helplessly.

"These rats are truly shameless," Qin Ming clenched his fists tightly.

Colorful, inside his sleeve, snorted twice in dissatisfaction upon hearing Qin Ming's words and went back to sleep.

"It seems I still need to research a new Medicinal Pill to deal with them," Qin Ming said. Since he didn't know how the Evil Young Master and the Holy Lord were detecting the members of Shadow, he didn't dare to continue sending Disciples to investigate at random; the clues they found were negligible.

"Keep researching the Medicinal Pills. If there's any news, I'll notify you immediately." Jue Wuya was also quite helpless as he left the Alchemy Room.

Qin Ming held his breath, making the most of his time to research the Medicinal Pills.

He was starting to get somewhere; at the very least, the Medicinal Pills he refined now were no longer completely scorched.

However, he was still some distance away from success.

"What exactly is wrong? I've already swapped the spirit plants eight times, and there are no more conflicts, so why is it still not working?"

Qin Ming held a green Medicinal Pill and fell into deep thought.

Although the pill had taken shape, it was completely a Waste Pill, having no effect and being poisonous instead.

This was a manifestation where the Medicinal Pill could achieve Fusion, but its medicinal effects were entirely lost; such a pill was a Waste Pill.

However, this pill wasn't a total failure.

Qin Ming felt like he had hit a dead end. He had already tested the best formulas, yet they still failed. He really couldn't think of which spirit plant, when combined with hidden dragon grass, could be refined into a Medicinal Pill.

"Is my ability too poor? Is it simply impossible to research a sixth-grade pill?"

He felt somewhat discouraged, but his gaze turned determined again when he thought of the deaths of the Huayu Sect's Disciples.

"I am the Pill God. In this world, no one's Alchemy ability is stronger than mine. It's impossible for me not to research a new Medicinal Pill. I must refine a suitable pill to avenge my Disciples."

Without refining a new Medicinal Pill, the Disciples wouldn't be able to investigate the traces of the Scorpion Faction.

He couldn't go looking for them personally. The continent was so vast that if they just hid anywhere, he would gain nothing but wasted time.

Just as Qin Ming was stuck in this predicament, many small and medium-sized Sects throughout the entire Great Xia Dynasty fell into an unprecedented crisis.
