"Get out of my way."

Spider-Man’s interference enraged Thing. He tore through the webbing with brute force, then turned and thundered toward Spider-Man, leaving one crater after another in the concrete.

"Man, you’re really strong."

Spider-Man whistled. A strand of web shot onto Thing’s chest, and with a hard pull, Thing lost his balance and crashed to the ground.

"Nice one, Spider-Man!"

Seeing Spider-Man knock Thing down, the nearby civilians cheered.

"It’s not over yet. Stay back."

Spider-Man hurriedly waved at the crowd, signaling them not to approach. Then he said to the rising Thing, "Man, I don’t want to hurt you. Stop and come with me to the police station."

"But I want to hurt you."

Thing grabbed a rock beside him and hurled it at Spider-Man with all his strength.

Spider-Man leaped aside, then fired a web at Thing’s face. While Thing was busy tearing it off, Spider-Man shot another thick strand of webbing and rapidly circled him, binding him tightly from head to toe.

Spider-Man wiped his brow theatrically and said, "Whew, that should do it."

Thing struggled furiously and cursed, "You little bastard!"

"Watch your language. There are kids around."

Spider-Man shouted. At that moment, a ball of flame suddenly slammed into Thing, burning away both his clothes and the webbing.

The attacker was Human Torch Johnny Storm. He called out to Thing in a flippant tone, "Big guy, I’m here to save you."

Thing, or rather Ben, tossed aside his burning trench coat and shouted unhappily, "Why did you burn me too?"

"What does it matter? Rocks don’t burn anyway."

Human Torch shrugged. "Also, I’m here to take you back. Reed said we can’t leave the hospital for now."

"You just snuck out to get some fresh air, didn’t you?"

Thing shouted in dissatisfaction. At that moment, Spider-Man said, "Friend who looks a lot like Captain America, Thing damaged the ground. I’m taking him back to the police station."

"Just you? Spider-Man, I’ve wanted to meet you for a long time."

Human Torch grinned, bright flames igniting in both hands. Then he swung them hard, sending two fireballs flying at Spider-Man.

"I hate fire."

Spider-Man hurriedly dodged. The flames struck a large tree behind him, setting it ablaze.

Spider-Man glanced back and said, "Friend, you’re going to have to pay for that."

"You should worry about yourself first."

Human Torch kept hurling fireballs. Spider-Man dodged nimbly, then fired a web at Human Torch.

Human Torch grinned as roaring flames erupted over his body. The web was instantly burned away. Spider-Man blinked in frustration. How was he supposed to deal with this?

"Haha, I’m invincible."

Human Torch laughed loudly and threw another fireball at Spider-Man. Just then, a metallic body stepped in front of Spider-Man and absorbed all the flames.

"My friend, Carl, you’re here."

Spider-Man said happily. The newcomer was Absorbing Man Carl, who had turned himself into a metal man using Loki’s Uru Metal.

"Spider-Man, when are you going to fix that habit of randomly calling people your friends? Isn’t that why Electro has been mad at you for so long?"

Absorbing Man shook his head irritably and strode toward Human Torch. Human Torch roared and fired flame after flame at him, but Absorbing Man swallowed every last one.

"Your fire is far worse than Sin Buster’s."

Absorbing Man shook his head. He walked up to Human Torch and raised his fist to knock him out. At that moment, a hand suddenly appeared and grabbed his wrist.

Absorbing Man turned around and saw an arm several meters long. He asked the middle-aged man opposite him in astonishment, "Did you mutate?"

"My body turned into rubber."

Reed said, "Absorbing Man, this is just a misunderstanding. I can explain."

"Explain it at the police station. You set fire to a large number of trees and trash cans. That’s already a crime."

Absorbing Man said righteously. He loved talking like this, because people used to say such things to him all the time.

"You think you can arrest me? I refuse to believe I can’t burn you to death."

Human Torch flew into a rage and was about to unleash fire when Absorbing Man kicked him away. Then he pulled hard, dragging Reed helplessly toward him.

"This is bad."

Reed’s body instantly softened, wrapping around Absorbing Man like rubber. Absorbing Man roared, and flames burst across his entire body—the fire he had absorbed earlier.

Reed hurriedly retreated from the flames. Absorbing Man was about to pursue him when Thing charged over and smashed into him with a bang, sending him flying.

Spider-Man immediately fired webbing at Thing. Seeing this, Human Torch instantly flung flames at him.

Just then, a fierce gust blew in and scattered the flames. Then Wind Demon appeared before everyone in the form of a gale and said coldly, "Ganging up on the outnumbered is not good."

"It’s pretty lively here."

Power Man and Jessica also arrived. The police had called for reinforcements again.

Spider-Man shouted, "Hey, rock man, fire man, rubber man, it’s not too late to surrender."

"I won’t surrender."

The flames around Human Torch surged violently as he fired fireballs at everyone in rapid succession. Wind Demon snorted and blew all the flames away with a gale.

Human Torch flew into a rage and attacked Wind Demon. Wind Demon turned into a gale, either dodging or scattering the flames.

"I’ll handle it."

Absorbing Man climbed to his feet, preparing to deal with Human Torch, but Reed wrapped around him again. Absorbing Man snapped, "Do you know how disgusting this move is? I’m not interested in men."

"I’m not interested either, but this really is just a misunderstanding. Let us leave. We aren’t bad people."

Reed shouted.

"What’s the problem? Explain it at the police station."

Absorbing Man sneered. After thinking for a moment, he turned himself into rubber as well. Then he stretched out his arm and punched at Reed’s head. Reed immediately counterattacked, and the two rubber men became entangled in a brawl.

Thing was about to go help Reed when a barrage of bullets suddenly rattled against his body. Jessica had taken control of a Glider and opened fire. Seeing that Thing was completely unharmed, she whistled and said, "That body of yours is pretty tough."

"You’re trying to kill me?"

Thing was enraged and thundered toward Jessica. Power Man stepped into his path and was sent flying by Thing’s charge. Jessica immediately jumped down to help Power Man.

Spider-Man wanted to help Power Man and Jessica, but Susan Storm stopped him.

Susan shouted, "Spider-Man, this is just a misunderstanding. Let us go."

"Sorry, but you’ve already committed a crime. I have to arrest you."

Spider-Man shook his head. With the surroundings burned up like this, how could he possibly let them leave?

"Then I have no choice."

Susan sighed and began taking off her clothes. Spider-Man froze. What was going on? Why was she taking off her clothes? Just then, Susan suddenly vanished, leaving only several pieces of clothing floating in the air. Then she removed the rest of her clothes as well and disappeared completely.

"Ah, invisibility? Do you have to take off your clothes to use that ability?"

Spider-Man stared in disbelief. At that moment, he sensed something and jumped to the side. Susan’s kick missed.

"Ma’am, isn’t it a little inappropriate to fight without clothes on?"

Spider-Man scratched his head. He did not want to fight a naked woman, even if he could not see her.

"It’s fine. No one can see me anyway."

Susan said smugly as she repeatedly attacked Spider-Man. Spider-Man did not dare strike back and could only dodge in embarrassment. Susan could not help laughing. Spider-Man was still just a child.

Just then, Susan’s invisibility suddenly failed. A beautiful naked woman appeared before everyone. Spider-Man hurriedly covered his nose. He felt like he was about to get a nosebleed.

"Wow, great figure."

Power Man whistled, and the onlookers all took out their phones. Susan was humiliated and furious. Covering herself, she vanished again. Everyone felt disappointed, then continued fighting.

At that moment, Sin Buster flew over and shouted, "Enough. Stop immediately, or don’t blame me for getting rough."

Reed’s expression changed when he saw Sin Buster, and he hurriedly shouted, "Wait, I know Mr. Wang. We aren’t bad people."

"Hm?"

Damon turned to look at Reed. Even he was startled by Reed’s current state—Reed and Absorbing Man were tightly tangled together like two rubber bands, looking as bizarre as could be.

Damon shook his head repeatedly, then called Wang Bert and explained the situation.

Wang Bert said, "Project me there."

"Alright!"

Damon nodded and released Wang Bert’s holographic projection.

"Reed, Carl, what are you two playing at?"

Wang Bert looked at Reed and Carl tangled together, speechless. This was way too philosophical.

Reed and Absorbing Man were both a little embarrassed. They tried to return to normal, but they were tangled too tightly to separate.

Susan shouted, "Mr. Wang, we don’t want trouble. We’ll obediently return to the hospital."

Wang Bert did not see Susan and knew she was invisible. He shook his head and said, "That won’t do. You caused such a big mess, so you have to go to the police station.

"How about this? Go back to the police station with Sin Buster first. I’ll bail you out later."

Human Torch roared. Wang Bert said to Damon, "Knock that kid out. There’s an eighty percent chance he started this."

Human Torch shouted arrogantly. Damon expressionlessly swung his chain. With a bang, Human Torch was sent flying and knocked unconscious on the ground.

Then the flames around Human Torch went out, revealing his muscular body. The onlookers all took out their phones again. They had hit the jackpot today—first a beautiful woman, and now a muscular man.

"Johnny."

Susan shouted worriedly. Damon said, "Don’t worry, I held back. You three, surrender peacefully. With Mr. Wang guaranteeing for you, you’ll be out as soon as you compensate for the damages."

Reed hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Alright, we’ll go with you."

"Very good."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction and said to Damon, "Keep an eye on them for me. They aren’t bad people."

Damon nodded. "Understood."

Then Wang Bert disappeared. Thing sighed and smacked his own head in frustration. "Sorry. It’s all my fault. I dragged you into this."

Reed said with a bitter smile, "Ben, I’m the one who dragged you into this. If I hadn’t asked you to go to the Space Station with me, you wouldn’t have become like this."

"You’ll have plenty of time to talk after we get back to the police station."

Damon walked over. Looking at Reed and Absorbing Man, he said with a headache, "How are you two going to separate? We can’t carry you into the police station like this, can we?"

"Force us apart. Rubber bodies don’t get injured easily."

Reed shouted. Damon thought for a moment and had Power Man help. Reed and Absorbing Man’s posture was too awful; he was afraid he would have nightmares that night.

Seeing that things were over, Invisible Woman hurriedly went to put on her clothes. Watching the clothes rise into the air one by one, Spider-Man could not help recalling the earlier sight and quickly covered his nose.

Invisible Woman reappeared and glared fiercely at Spider-Man. Then she picked up a piece of cloth nearby and covered Human Torch with it.

Spider-Man was deeply embarrassed and hurried off to put out the fire with Jessica. After a while, Firefighter Hero arrived, and the group worked together to extinguish all the flames.

Then Damon took the four back to the police station, and the matter was considered settled. The citizens of New York were curious, but they did not pay much attention to it. After all, such things happened far too often in New York.

At the Experiment Base, Wang Bert put down the phone and turned his gaze toward the ruins below. Yes, ruins—ruins forcibly created by two ferocious beasts.

The two beasts were Humanoid Lizard Dragon Elektra and Hulk. They attacked each other madly, and wherever they passed, everything from trees to buildings came crashing down.

"Elektra has fully mastered her power. Her current level is roughly equal to Hulk’s when he isn’t completely enraged."

Betty held a tablet recording all sorts of information and said to Wang Bert, "However, Elektra’s potential is limited, while Hulk’s potential is limitless. His strength has been steadily increasing."

"Hulk is a child who never stops growing."

Wang Bert smiled and said, "Betty, it seems you’ve completely gotten used to Hulk’s existence."

"I was pretty scared at first, but now I feel alright."

Betty smiled. At that moment, Elektra slammed Hulk heavily onto the ground below. The earth rumbled and shook. Elektra opened her mouth and bit toward Hulk’s neck, but Hulk headbutted her in the head, nearly knocking out all her teeth.

The two were about to continue fighting when Wang Bert shouted, "That’s enough for today. Elektra, Hulk, change back."

The two growled at Wang Bert in dissatisfaction, clearly wanting to keep fighting. Wang Bert looked at them with a smile. Both felt a chill in their hearts, immediately stopped growling, and quickly returned to normal.

Elektra was naturally still the red-clad ninja, while Banner sat amid the ruins wearing nothing but oversized shorts. He looked at Elektra enviously and asked, "Where can I buy your clothes?"

Elektra asked, "What, you want to wear women’s clothes?"

Wang Bert smiled. "Banner, go back and rest with Betty first."

After Banner and Betty left, Wang Bert asked Elektra, "Any discomfort?"

Wang Bert shrugged. At that moment, his phone rang again. It was Damon. "Bert, Tony Stark came to bail out those four guys."
