Fierce Battle
Just then, Copy Tony suddenly turned around and sent the Professor flying to the side with a side kick. Tony seized the opportunity, leaped into the air, and drove a Muay Thai knee hard into the Professor’s jaw. The Professor’s jaw shattered on the spot, and even his head twisted out of shape.
"Break!"
Taking advantage of the Professor’s severe injuries, Copy Tony fired two crimson lasers from his eyes. As his neck turned, space—or rather, the Snow White World—was rapidly set ablaze, turning into a world of fire.
A moment later, the world collapsed. Tony’s vision blurred, and he returned to his own body.
Tony sneered at Onslaught across from him. "Professor, your Mind Power is nothing special. No wonder you’re such a failure at education. Every student you teach is worse than the last."
Onslaught shouted in disbelief, "Impossible! How could a mere mortal like you escape my Mind World?"
"I’m not a mortal. I’m Tony Stark, the strongest Iron Man."
Unlike Wang Bert, Tony enjoyed showing off. He said, "You thought that Copy Tony was one of your people, but he isn’t. He’s the Anti-Iron Man Armor. My armor and I share a symbiotic relationship. Even an illusion can’t separate us."
"Symbiotic Armor?"
Onslaught was stunned. In his world, Iron Man had never created such an advanced suit of armor.
"You don’t need to know that much, because you’ll soon become a prisoner."
Tony stopped wasting time. His eyes lit up red, and two laser beams howled toward Onslaught.
Both lasers transcended time. The instant they appeared, they were already in front of Onslaught. Although Onslaught activated Teleportation immediately, it was useless, because the lasers had already destroyed space.
The next second, the lasers struck Onslaught. The Sentinel armor on his body instantly caught fire, and he hurriedly ejected himself from it.
The moment Onslaught ejected himself, before he could do anything else, a metal ring made of Nanoparticles passed through space and clamped tightly around his neck. Then, six thin needles sprang out from inside the ring and pierced his neck. Onslaught instantly froze in place, not daring to move.
"Don’t move around. This is an Imprisonment Ring I just developed. With a single thought, I can turn you into ashes."
Tony looked at Onslaught and said smugly, "Your powers are useless against it, because it can lock down space."
"How can you be this strong?"
Onslaught asked with an ugly expression. It wasn’t like he had never seen Iron Man before. He had been nothing more than a comic relief character. How could he possibly be this powerful?
Imitating Wang Bert’s manner, Tony asked calmly, "Would you believe me if I said I haven’t even used one-tenth of my strength?"
Onslaught glanced at Tony and said, "I surrender. But don’t think this is the end. In my universe, there are countless people stronger than me."
"I know. Omega-Level Mutants," Tony said. "Don’t worry. Not everyone in our universe is as strong as I am, but there are still some Super Heroes who are only a little weaker than me."
Onslaught sneered. "You’re so punchable. You really are Iron Man, not someone else pretending to be him."
"You’re judging whether I’m the real Iron Man based on how punchable I am? Onslaught, aren’t you the one who’s truly punchable?"
Tony rolled his eyes. Time was limited, so he said nothing more and sent Onslaught into a specially made prison, where his powers would be unusable.
After dealing with Onslaught, Tony looked at the ruins around him and could not help sighing. Although he had arrived early enough, Onslaught’s destructive power had been too terrifying. At least several hundred people had died by his hand.
"Maybe Bert’s method really is the correct one. Kill everyone, then revive them."
Tony shook his head and headed for the other cities to deal with those "great villains." They needed to repel this wave of attacks first. Everything else could wait.
San Francisco was being ravaged by countless Venom-like Symbiotes. Their most terrifying trait was not their fondness for biting off people’s heads, but their ability to endlessly reproduce, split apart, and create even more Symbiote monsters.
Black Widow grabbed a Symbiote by the head, and flames bloomed in her hand. The Symbiote was instantly burned to ashes, but its host was unharmed, collapsing to the ground in a blissful faint.
Black Widow’s control over her power was clearly extremely refined.
"Too slow. I’m killing them far more slowly than they can split. If this continues, this city will eventually become a city of Symbiotes."
Black Widow frowned deeply. Her strength surpassed that of the Symbiotes, and even if more than a dozen attacked her together, she would not be at a disadvantage. The problem was that there were simply too many Symbiotes, and she was killing them too slowly.
"Fortunately, there isn’t just one Black Widow."
Thinking of something, Black Widow activated her communicator and contacted the rear. A moment later, a portal appeared, followed by a large number of valiant, beautiful women stepping out of it. At the front was Yelena, who had a pair of short legs just like Natasha.
"Black Widow Corps, it’s time to act."
Black Widow smiled. Years ago, she had rescued many female agents like herself. Afterward, she arranged for them to recuperate in a secret location and removed the toxins from their bodies.
Later, Black Widow obtained the Perfected Extremis Virus from the Black Widow of the Main Universe. She did not keep it to herself, instead giving it to those female agents so that they could become whole again like her.
In other words, every one of these Black Widows was smoking hot.
"We owe you two lives. We’re willing to serve you."
Yelena spoke, and the other Black Widows, including Taskmaster, all nodded.
"Not for me, but for yourselves."
Black Widow smiled and said, "Only if we win this battle can I apply for official positions for you in the Avengers and clear away everything from your past. You fought so hard to gain your freedom. You can’t keep living like rats."
Yelena and the others grew somewhat excited at those words. Given a choice, who would want to live as an undocumented person? "Let’s go. Let those Symbiotes know that the Black Widow Corps has arrived."
Black Widow said with a smile. Please note: Black Widows have been spotted in San Francisco.
In London, Black Phoenix, dressed in crimson clothes, strolled slowly down the street as if out for a walk. Everywhere she passed, buildings and people alike turned to ashes, making her look exceptionally imposing.
The citizens of London screamed in terror and fled madly outward. This was truly a race against death.
The citizens felt miserable. Why had she come to London? Shouldn’t great villains be going to that hellhole New York?
Captain America Steve stood before Black Phoenix with a Vibranium shield in hand and shouted, "Ma’am, stop. You’ve caused far too much slaughter."
Black Phoenix ignored Steve and continued forward. What right did a mere unit of measurement have to make her stop? Seeing this, Steve hurled his shield fiercely at Black Phoenix. Black Phoenix did not dodge and kept walking. So what if it was a Vibranium shield? She could disassemble it with a thought.
Bang! The Vibranium shield was not disassembled. It slammed directly into Black Phoenix, who screamed and flew backward, rolling repeatedly across the ground.
Black Phoenix lay on the ground for a moment, unable to process what had happened. She blinked and asked in astonishment, "Impossible. Why wasn’t your shield disassembled?"
Steve caught the rebounding Vibranium shield and said, "Because I didn’t want it to be disassembled. I’m going to use it to protect Earth."
"How absurd."
Black Phoenix floated up from the ground into the air. Then, Phoenix Fire formed a blazing phoenix phantom behind her. Distant buildings, the ground below, and several citizens who had not fled far enough rapidly vanished.
Seeing this, Steve immediately charged at Black Phoenix. Black Phoenix pushed both hands forward, and the Phoenix Fire transformed into more than a dozen lifelike little phoenixes that blasted toward Steve.
The little phoenixes were so hot that even the void burned away wherever they passed. Steve took a deep breath and raised his right hand. Thor’s Hammer descended from the sky, crashing straight toward Black Phoenix amid crackling lightning.
"Thor’s Hammer?"
Black Phoenix was somewhat surprised. The phoenix phantom behind her beat its wings and smashed toward Thor’s Hammer. At that moment, another Thor’s Hammer shot up from the ground and smashed into Black Phoenix, sending her flying again.
Steve pressed his advantage. While using his shield to fend off the dozen or so little phoenixes, he controlled the two Thor’s Hammers to hammer Black Phoenix again and again—one Thor’s Hammer came from Loki, while the other came from Thor of another universe.
"You’re courting death!"
Black Phoenix, her body charred black, was completely enraged. The phoenix phantom behind her stretched out its claws and gripped both Thor’s Hammers tightly. Phoenix Fire then spread over the two hammers. The hammers trembled nonstop as the lightning around them rapidly faded.
Although Thor’s Hammer was a divine artifact, it could still be destroyed. Hela had crushed Thor’s Hammer before.
Steve knew this. He hurled his shield fiercely at Black Phoenix. Black Phoenix glared, and three little phoenixes transformed into three ever-expanding fireballs that shot toward the Vibranium shield.
At that moment, Steve pushed off hard with both feet and charged to Black Phoenix’s side at astonishing speed, driving a powerful kick toward her chest.
Black Phoenix dodged while controlling the phoenix phantom to attack Steve. Steve used the chance to recall the two Thor’s Hammers. Then, ignoring the phoenix phantom attacking him, he swung both hammers down fiercely at Black Phoenix.
This Black Phoenix had more than enough offense but insufficient defense. The best way to defeat her was to attack—without caring about defense at all.
Black Phoenix considered herself noble, so she naturally had no desire to perish together with Steve. She immediately changed the phoenix phantom’s attack to block Steve’s hammers.
With that, the initiative completely fell into Steve’s hands. He became a dual-hammer warrior and launched a frenzied assault. Dark clouds filled the sky, and thunder constantly crashed down alongside the swinging Thor’s Hammers.
Steve’s signature weapon was his shield, but that did not mean his offensive power was weak.
Having lost the initiative, Black Phoenix could only defend passively. However, she was not worried, because such a fierce assault could not last long. As long as she blocked his attacks, he would eventually die by her hand.
But to Black Phoenix’s surprise, Steve showed no intention of stopping. Even more astonishingly, as time passed, his strength and speed kept increasing.
Mind Concept—Fifty-Fifty.
Steve was full of confidence. She isn’t an Ancient God. I can win this battle.
In Egypt, Captain Marvel punched Apocalypse into a pyramid. The massive pyramid exploded with a boom, and countless clouds of sand soared into the sky.
"What a disappointment. You aren’t an Ancient God, only a Half-Step Ancient God."
Captain Marvel sighed. She had originally wanted to use the pressure of an Ancient God to push herself further, but unfortunately, this universe’s Apocalypse was only a Half-Step Ancient God. He had not taken that final step.
"A mere woman dares offend this god?"
Apocalypse climbed out of the pile of dirt and roared furiously, "Do you know who I am?"
"A mere woman?"
Captain Marvel laughed in anger. "I don’t know who you are. I only know that you’re going to die horribly."
As she spoke, the phantoms of two planets suddenly appeared behind Captain Marvel, and her aura surged without limit. This was her Binary Form.
As everyone knew, Captain Marvel hated men who looked down on women the most. Today, she would let Apocalypse know just how terrifying women could be.
Sensing Captain Marvel’s imposing aura, Apocalypse was somewhat shocked. Then he snorted coldly and controlled the dirt to cover his body, transforming into a hundred-meter-tall Earth Giant.
"No one can kill me, because I am a god. When you see a god, you should kneel and submit."
As Apocalypse roared, he swung his enormous hand down hard at Captain Marvel, blotting out the entire sky.
"A god? In my heart, there is only one god in this world, and that is my Master. You aren’t even qualified to carry my Master’s shoes."
Captain Marvel smiled disdainfully. She could not be bothered with fancy moves. She simply held her arms in front of her and charged forward at full speed. Bang! She punched straight through the Earth Giant’s sturdy body.
And that was only the beginning. Wrapped in dazzling light, Captain Marvel flew back and forth through the Earth Giant’s body. The Earth Giant moved too slowly to hit her at all, and before long, its body was riddled with massive holes.
Apocalypse grew even angrier. His eyes turned white, and when Captain Marvel entered the Earth Giant’s body, he activated his gravity power. The Earth Giant instantly became a pyramid filled with gravity, trapping Captain Marvel inside with no way to escape.
"You have no idea how powerful a god is."
Apocalypse grinned viciously and rapidly shrank the pyramid. Every time the pyramid shrank a little, the gravity inside increased by another degree. Once the pyramid became small enough, Captain Marvel would be crushed to death by gravity.
Captain Marvel did not answer, as if she could no longer speak. Apocalypse became increasingly excited and desperately compressed the pyramid. When the pyramid was only as tall as two people, the gravity inside had reached an utterly terrifying level, so intense that even space-time was struggling to endure it.
Just as Apocalypse believed Captain Marvel was surely dead, Captain Marvel’s roar came from within the pyramid. Immediately afterward, the pyramid exploded with a bang, and countless grains of sand shot outward like bullets with rapid crackling sounds.
Then, an incomparably dazzling figure appeared in Apocalypse’s sight. Before Apocalypse could say anything, Captain Marvel brought her hands together, firing an incomparably brilliant beam of light as thick as a water barrel.
"No!"
Apocalypse had no time to dodge and was struck head-on. When the light beam faded, Apocalypse had completely vanished.
That beam contained not only Captain Marvel’s power, but Apocalypse’s own power as well. It was only natural that Apocalypse could not withstand it.
"You call yourself a god? Only my Master deserves that title."
Captain Marvel smiled disdainfully and asked through her communicator, "Command center, Apocalypse is dead. Are there any other enemies that need me?"
