Fist of the Heavens, Wanderer’s Companion

Send you home?

Heimdall was a million times unwilling.

Frigga clearly did not want to let him go. She wanted to wait for Odin to awaken before dealing with him. Killing him was impossible, but he had to suffer a little, or people would think Asgard feared Midgard!

He was just about to object.

Then he suddenly heard Old Wang say, "There are still many things on Earth waiting for me to handle. The Ancient One is waiting for me. If she doesn’t see me, she’ll get anxious. Her temper isn’t actually very good. When she gets anxious, she gets angry, and when she gets angry, she wants to vent it. You know what I mean."

Heimdall swallowed the words on the tip of his tongue.

I fucking don’t!

He hurriedly called out to Odin in his heart, but received no response.

Odin had probably really been affected this time.

Though he could still see and hear, it would ultimately affect Odinsleep. Poor sleep quality could easily lead to sudden death. If he could live one more day, then that was one more day. Heimdall was helpless as well.

After thinking for a moment, he said, "I must report this to the God Queen before making a decision."

Old Wang nodded with a smile. "Please make your decision quickly. Otherwise, I can only ask the Ancient One for help. By the way, where does Sif live? I’d like to have a chat with her. We have many topics in common."

Heimdall remained expressionless, but his soul fluctuated abnormally. The way he looked at Old Wang was full of hostility.

He directly used divine telepathy to communicate with Frigga.

Nearly a minute later, he said, "The God Queen has agreed to your request. No spells are permitted in Odin’s Vault. Come with me."

The two arrived at the end of the Bifrost. Looking at the void storm beneath his feet, Old Wang said half-seriously and half-jokingly, "You’re not thinking of pushing me down there, are you?"

"I’d like to, but Frigga won’t allow it…" Heimdall said coldly. "This is where space-time is at its weakest. I’m still very weak, and I don’t have enough divine power. Even if I give it everything I have, this is the only place where I can send you away."

Old Wang smiled and handed over three crystal bottles. "Thank you. One is for you, and the other two are for the God Queen and Sif."

One did not slap a smiling face, especially when the gifts were precious even in Asgard.

Heimdall had originally wanted to refuse.

But he quickly received a telepathic message from Frigga. After struggling for a few seconds, he still accepted them. "Stand still. Don’t move."

He gripped his sword with both hands.

Two beams of golden light shot from his pupils into the void storm below.

A full two minutes passed before Heimdall activated the divine sword.

In a flash of golden light, Old Wang vanished.

His vision brightened, and Old Wang returned to the battlefield.

"Wang, you’re back?"

Skye, who had been busy the whole time, spotted Old Wang immediately and hurriedly flew over. Only after seeing that none of his parts were missing did she relax.

Curious, she could not help asking, "Wang, what exactly is Asgard like?"

"Not bad. I’ll tell you about it later."

Old Wang rubbed Skye’s golden hair and asked, "How are things?"

Looking around—

The ground was scorched everywhere, and frostbite covered everything.

All the Frost Giants had disappeared without leaving even a drop of blood behind.

A group of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and local military personnel were busy sealing off the site. Technicians carrying instruments were scanning everywhere, and from their expressions, it was obvious they had gained quite a lot.

With a mental scan, he found that not a single Super Hero had left, including Banner, who had already returned to human form.

"Thor awakened, destroyed the Destroyer, and used lightning to wipe out about half the Frost Giants."

Skye said, "We eliminated the other half. Banner and Robbie deserve the most credit."

Old Wang nodded. "What about the bodies?"

Skye said, "We were prepared in advance, so we took away eighty percent of the Frost Giant bodies. S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military took most of the remaining twenty percent. The Iron Soldiers each side sent took several bodies as well. But most were destroyed. There are fewer than a thousand intact ones."

Old Wang was very satisfied.

This was already quite good, beyond expectations.

"What about the Destroyer?" That was the most important thing, more valuable than ten thousand Frost Giant corpses.

"It has already been transported back to the Azeroth Laboratory."

Skye was somewhat puzzled. "Fitz is studying it. He says the Destroyer is made from a material that doesn’t exist on Earth, an extremely special metal. It can only be studied and utilized based on the Destroyer itself; there’s no way to synthesize it artificially."

"Give up on researching it. There’s not much point. That’s divine-grade armor. Even if Tony studied it, he wouldn’t get anywhere within ten years."

Old Wang smiled. "Since the war is over, there’s no need for us to stay here… Let’s go home!"

"Director Wang!"

Coulson’s voice rang out beside him, but Old Wang simply opened a portal and disappeared.

"He runs fast!"

Coulson sighed, picked up his phone, and dialed a number. "Sir, Director Wang has left… Yes, we definitely can’t get the Destroyer and those corpses back. When has Director Wang ever spat out something he has swallowed… Skye said it herself. The Shengun Bureau did most of the work in this war, so naturally they should get the biggest share… All right, understood."

After hanging up, Coulson sighed again.

They were both directors…

Why was the gap so huge?

Fury, Fury, you’re not forceful enough!

S.H.I.E.L.D., the Pentagon, and the Defense Department would naturally handle the aftermath. The Shengun Bureau’s duty was to take the initiative and extend the battlefield beyond Earth. Old Wang had done that very well—

He had already invaded Asgard alone. What more could anyone ask for?

Having taken most of the spoils, Old Wang felt completely at ease.

After returning to the Laboratory, he immediately went to find Fitz.

Aside from leaving behind a small amount of scraps, most of the Destroyer’s wreckage was stored in the Heart of Azeroth, piled together with the Casket of Ancient Winters, Loki’s divine dagger, and Laufey’s corpse.

"Maybe it still isn’t enough…"

After thinking it over, Old Wang went to the underground cold storage and stored most of the Frost Giant and Frost beast corpses in Azeroth, leaving only a small portion behind for research.

Then, a wisp of his consciousness entered the Heart of Azeroth.

Azeroth Miss flew out from beneath her skirt and appeared before him. Looking at the breathtakingly beautiful young woman, Old Wang smiled. "I want to exchange for the Fist of Ra-den, the Shield of the Highkeeper, and the Wanderer’s Companion."

"Not enough."

Azeroth Miss blinked her pretty eyes and shook her head. "Even added together, these things aren’t enough to exchange for the Fist of Ra-den."

Old Wang was slightly stunned.

Then he gave a faint laugh.

Of course!

Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Warrior, Mage, Rogue, Paladin, Priest, Druid, Shaman, Hunter, Warlock, Monk.

Twelve classes, thirty-six artifacts.

They were ranked by tier!

The weakest were made by mortals and had at most passed through the hands of demigods. The strongest were even connected to the Pantheon and the Dark Titan Sargeras!

The Fist of Ra-den was the artifact of Highkeeper Ra.

It was connected to Aman’Thul, the leader of the Titan Pantheon and the Allfather.

Aman’Thul personally bestowed this artifact upon Highkeeper Ra, granting it control over earth, fire, water, wind, and especially storms.

Highkeeper Ra used it to infuse the Titan-forged Mogu with life, and used it to fight the Dark Empire for many years.

Anything made by Titans was bound to be excellent.

Aman’Thul was the true Allfather, a living planetary being far above Ego, who had only lived for several million years. Blowing up planets was effortless to him.

Since Aman’Thul had personally bestowed it on Highkeeper Ra, the Fist of Ra-den was a fine artifact even by Aman’Thul’s standards.

In terms of quality alone,

it far surpassed the Casket of Ancient Winters.

It ranked only below the five great creation artifacts:

Aggramar’s Aegis, Tear of Elune, Tidestone of Golganneth, Hammer of Khaz’goroth, and Eye of Aman’Thul.

It was only two or three tiers below the Heart of Azeroth.

Its value naturally far exceeded that of ordinary artifacts.

Though the Fist of Ra-den was a Shaman artifact, it was not unusable for a Monk who could control earth, fire, water, and wind.

It was even better than another artifact.

There was nothing he could do if he could not exchange for it.

Old Wang even suspected—

If he truly wanted to exchange for the Fist of Ra-den, he would probably need to gather the three high-tier artifacts: the Casket of Ancient Winters, Eternal Fire, and Gungnir.

"Exchange for the Fist of the Heavens and the Wanderer’s Companion." Old Wang lowered his demands.

One spherical space after another became bloodshot and expanded. A level-seven Time-Space Channel opened, then immediately closed in less than two seconds.

A pair of golden gauntlets and a staff appeared before him.
