Fusion

On the rooftop of the Empire State Building, Wang Bert asked Wanda in astonishment, "You fused with Future Wanda?"

Wanda nodded and asked, "That’s right, Future Wanda and I fused. Bert, is there no way to separate us?"

"Let me take a look first."

Wang Bert opened his Soul Eye to examine Wanda’s soul. A moment later, he said with a grave expression, "This is troublesome, Wanda. There’s only one soul in your body."

Both Wandas asked in shock, "Only one soul? What does that mean?"

"It means that not only did you and Future Wanda’s bodies fuse, but your souls fused as well."

Wang Bert replied, "You are now one person. Your condition isn’t two souls—it’s split personality disorder."

"I have split personality disorder?"

Wanda pointed at herself and asked incredulously, "Bert, are you joking?"

"I’m not joking. One soul with two personalities—if that isn’t split personality disorder, what is?"

Wang Bert shook his head and raised his right hand. The Soul Stone lit up, and Wanda’s soul immediately flew out of her body.

The two Wandas stared at their own soul in stunned disbelief. They had actually fused completely?

Wanda hurriedly asked, "Bert, is there any way to separate us?"

Future Wanda also said, "Blood God, please help me."

"I’ll give it a try. Your fusion is rather strange, and I can’t guarantee success."

Wang Bert sighed, returned Wanda’s soul to her body, then activated the Time Stone. A green Magic Array enveloped Wanda’s body and reversed her time.

Soon, time returned to the moment Wanda fused. Wanda split into two and was about to separate when a phantom emerged from her body.

The phantom was a Red-haired, Red-clothed, Red-caped Woman. She glanced at Wang Bert and said softly, "I cannot be separated."

The Red-clothed Woman’s words became reality. The Magic Array suddenly collapsed, and the two Wandas fused again before the phantom vanished.

"Scarlet Witch!"

Wang Bert frowned deeply. No wonder the two Wandas had fused—it had been the Scarlet Witch’s doing. But why had she done this? And how could she leave Mutant Planet? Things had become troublesome. A fierce glint flashed in Wang Bert’s eyes. No one could take his Wanda away, not even the Scarlet Witch.

"We cannot be separated."

At that moment, Wanda suddenly muttered in confusion. Wang Bert grabbed her shoulders and shook her, asking, "Wanda, are you alright?"

Wanda came back to herself and shook her head. "I’m fine. I just suddenly understood something."

Wang Bert did not press further. He said, "Wanda, you and Future Wanda cannot be separated."

"I know."

Both Wandas accepted it calmly without much reaction. Wang Bert narrowed his eyes slightly. What had the Scarlet Witch done to them? He took Wanda’s hand and said, "Wanda, I’ll always be by your side."

"I know."

Wanda leaned into Wang Bert’s arms and said firmly, "I’ll always be by your side too. I will never leave you."

Wang Bert held Wanda without speaking. He did not know what the Scarlet Witch was plotting, but no one could take his Wanda away. He was not even afraid of a Creator God, much less the Scarlet Witch.

As the two were wrapped up in each other, Future Wanda became rather embarrassed. She knew she should say something at a time like this, but for some reason, she simply did not want to speak. She even somewhat enjoyed the Blood God’s embrace.

Am I really such a shameless woman? Vision only died not long ago.

Future Wanda felt deeply ashamed—to her, Vision truly had died only recently.

No, I’m not a bad woman. My mind has been influenced by the other Wanda.

Future Wanda sensed something, and her expression changed slightly. "In the end, we will become one person."

A moment later, Wanda thought of something and pushed Wang Bert away. "Bert, is there really no way to separate us? With two people in one body, a lot of things are inconvenient."

Wang Bert knowingly asked, "A lot of things? What things?"

Wanda angrily punched Wang Bert. How could he not know what she meant? "Although I can’t separate your souls, I can separate your consciousnesses."

Wang Bert smiled and summoned a mass of blue Symbiote. He then activated the Mind Stone, stripped Future Wanda’s consciousness away, and attached it to the Symbiote.

The Symbiote shifted for a while. A moment later, it transformed into a little blue Wanda.

Little Wanda breathed a sigh of relief, sat on Wanda’s shoulder, and said, "This feels much more comfortable."

Wanda also said, "I feel the same way."

"This is only a temporary measure."

Wang Bert warned, "Little Wanda, you can’t stray too far from Wanda. Also, you must regularly return to Wanda’s soul to rest. Otherwise, this consciousness of yours will disappear."

"Understood."

Little Wanda nodded, then asked impatiently, "Blood God, can you help me revive Vision?"

"Vision has already been revived once by the Time Stone. I may not be able to revive him again. Time isn’t some little girl anyone can dress up however they please—it has quite a temper."

Wang Bert said, "Besides, Vision is connected to the Mind Stone."

Little Wanda pleaded, "Please, you must help me. No matter how small the chance is, I want to try."

"Alright."

Without wasting words, Wang Bert activated the Reality Stone to search for Vision’s remains. A moment later, with a thought, Vision’s shattered, battered corpse appeared on the rooftop of the Empire State Building.

Yes, shattered and battered—Vision’s body had been dismantled by this world’s S.W.O.R.D. They believed Vision was government property.

"Vision."

Upon seeing Vision’s miserable corpse, Little Wanda nearly collapsed. She flew down, knelt beside his body, and burst into tears.

Wanda was also shocked and somewhat angry. How could the people of this world treat Vision this way? He had been a Super Hero.

Aside from shock and anger, Wanda felt nothing else. Vision was not her man—Wang Bert was.

Wang Bert had been observing Wanda the whole time. Seeing her reaction, he secretly sighed in relief. Wanda was still his Wanda; her mind had not changed.

That absolutely cannot change.

After some thought, Wang Bert secretly handed the Mind Stone to Wanda. "Wanda, fuse the Mind Stone into your soul. With it, no one can control your mind."

"Alright."

Wanda did not refuse. The reason was simple: she did not want anyone else influencing her mind. She was Wanda, a Wanda who loved Wang Bert to the bone.

Wanda was deeply devoted in love. She would not allow that love to be tainted.

In truth, the one being influenced was not Wanda, but Future Wanda—her mind was being overwritten by Wanda’s.

A good mind would overwrite a bad one, just as sunlight swept away all darkness.

Little Wanda turned to Wang Bert and pleaded, "Blood God, please revive him."

"Alright."

Wang Bert nodded and activated the Time Stone again. Under the Magic Array’s effect, Vision’s corpse rapidly recovered, leaving only a large hole in the center of his forehead.

Soon, time reached five years ago. A large amount of yellow light gathered in the center of Vision’s forehead, followed by the simultaneous explosion of yellow and green energy, blasting all three of them away.

Wang Bert stopped himself in midair, first catching Wanda in his arms, then catching Little Wanda and placing her back on Wanda’s shoulder.

He then looked toward Vision and discovered that he had been revived and was rising from the ground, though he looked somewhat different from before.

"Did the artist forget to color him in?"

Wang Bert quipped. The revived Vision was white. Moreover, there was no Mind Stone on his forehead, only a small yellow gem—the condensed form of Mind Energy.

Little Wanda shouted excitedly, "Vision!"

White Vision floated in the air and asked blankly, "Who are you? And who am I?"

"Vision, you don’t remember me?"

Little Wanda cried out in despair. Fate had played another cruel joke on her—at that moment, she truly wanted to ask the writer whether she had slaughtered his entire family in a past life.

White Vision replied coldly, "I don’t remember you."

Wang Bert shook his head. "It may be backlash from time. Tony might have a backup of Vision’s memories."

"Really? Let’s go find Mr. Stark immediately."

Little Wanda said anxiously. Wang Bert did not waste words and took White Vision to find Future Tony.

Future Tony did indeed have a backup of Vision’s memories. The problem was that after White Vision recovered his memories, his gaze toward Little Wanda remained just as cold.

White Vision said to Little Wanda, "I don’t understand the feelings I once had for you. Seeing you causes no reaction in me at all. On the contrary, seeing Mr. Stark causes some reaction."

Wang Bert was somewhat surprised. "Hm? So that’s the kind of relationship you two had."

Future Tony took a step back and cried out in alarm, "Vision, you actually have designs on me?"

"Mr. Stark, you misunderstand."

White Vision said, "The reaction I’m talking about is the urge to punch you."

"Hahaha!"

Wang Bert could not help laughing. Future Tony was so angry his nose practically twisted. He cursed, "You’re not Vision. Vision wasn’t this obnoxious."

White Vision looked innocent. Little Wanda gave a miserable laugh and said, "It’s fine if you don’t remember me. Anyone who stays with me never ends well."

After saying that, Little Wanda shook her head in relief. Her consciousness completely dissipated, and the Symbiote instantly reverted to its original form.

The moment Little Wanda’s consciousness dissipated, dazzling red light erupted from Wanda’s body. The people and objects around them all floated into the air, and even Stark Mansion began to shake.

Tony cried out, "Hey, Blood God, what’s going on with Wanda?"

Wang Bert frowned deeply. "Wanda has broken through to the God-Devil Level. Don’t do anything. Let her ascend quietly."

Previously, Wanda could only enter the God-Devil Level when her emotions were stirred—for instance, when she wanted to kill Thanos. But now, she had officially entered the God-Devil Level.

"Scarlet Witch, what exactly are you doing?"

Wang Bert’s expression was somewhat grim, partly because of Wanda’s transformation and partly because of Mutant Planet.

The stronger Wanda became, the greater the attraction between Mutant Planet and Earth. He did not know whether the projection could hold out.

In fact, the projection could not hold out. Sensing that something was wrong, Wang Bert’s main body immediately teleported over to support the projection. No matter what, he could not allow the two planets to converge.

Sensing Wang Bert’s main body leaving Earth, Death immediately began making her move.

Leaving aside the situation in the Main Universe, a moment later, the red light around Wanda faded, the mansion stopped shaking, and everyone and everything fell back to the ground one after another—in the kitchen, plates shattered with a clatter.

"Wow, there’s a lot to clean up."

Future Tony looked displeased—all the housework in this mansion was done by him.

Wang Bert stepped forward, took Wanda’s hand, and asked with concern, "Wanda, are you alright?"

"I’m fine. Future Wanda gave up her sense of self and fused completely with me."

Wanda said with a complicated expression, "I absorbed Future Wanda’s power and broke through to the God-Devil Level."

At that point, Wanda turned to White Vision and asked, "How do you feel hearing this?"

"I thought of a movie where the protagonist kept killing versions of himself from other worlds."

White Vision looked at Wanda and said, "The more he killed, the stronger he became, until he eventually became ‘THE ONE.’"

"No wonder Future Wanda was so desperate."

Wanda shook her head and said to Wang Bert, "Bert, let’s leave."

"Alright."

Wang Bert did not waste words. Holding Wanda’s hand, he vanished with her. Future Tony rolled his eyes and asked, "Does my house not have a door?"

White Vision looked puzzled. "If we can teleport, why use a door? Also, I can clearly pass through walls. Why did you always insist that I use doors before? How is that any different from wasting time?"

"It’s called manners."

Future Tony said irritably, "Come with me and clean up the plates."

"Why should I help you clean up the plates?"

Though White Vision was full of confusion, he still obediently followed Future Tony into the kitchen.

On a New York street, Wanda leaned against Wang Bert’s chest and briefly explained everything. Then she said, "Bert, when you go to other universes, take me with you. I want to fuse with the other Wandas."

"Why do you want to do that?"

Wang Bert frowned. "Wanda, this is dangerous. If your mind is not stronger than the other person’s, you will be the one who gets absorbed."

"I believe in myself, and I have the Mind Stone as a cheat."

Wanda said, "Bert, I don’t know why, but I have to do this."

Wang Bert was silent for a while before saying, "Alright, I’ll help you. We can treat it as going on a trip together."

"Alright."

Wanda felt incredibly sweet inside. Thinking of something, she said, "Bert, you really weren’t lying to me. We are destined to be together."

Wang Bert held Wanda and smiled. "Of course. We are destined to be together. No one can separate us."

In the Main Universe, Wang Bert’s main body headed for the Chaotic Void. At the same time, Hela angrily smashed her glasses onto the ground—she had been corpse-camped again, and by a whole group this time.

It could not be helped. Hela’s mouth was simply too foul, and every time she went out, a crowd would chase after her to kill her.

"Don’t let me find you in real life, or I’ll make sure you suffer."

Hela cursed. Just then, a light laugh suddenly rang out. "Just suffer? You are the Goddess of Death. You should kill every last one of them."

"Who?"

Hela sharply turned her head and saw a breathtakingly beautiful woman looking at her with a smile.

"Such pure Death Power. I can’t compare even if I tried."

Sensing the deathly aura around the other woman, Hela was greatly shocked and could not help asking, "Are you Death?"

Hela was Asgard’s Goddess of Death, while Death was the Goddess of Death of the Entire Universe. They were not on the same level at all.
