The Gobi Mountains were dry, with no vegetation. The Freedom Fighters' base—or rather, the Ten Rings' base—was merely one of its branch locations, publicly known as the Freedom Fighters. Large quantities of Stark Industries weapons were piled along the paths where the Freedom Fighters walked. Following this "road of weapons" led directly to a dark cave entrance. Dim yellow lights were strung along the cave walls. The environment was dry and poorly lit, with only the path illuminated by the faint yellow glow barely visible.
