Golden Triangle, Reunion After Long Separation

The others watched Su Yu and Yu Xiaogang argue with the complete air of spectators enjoying a show.

When everyone left Heaven Dou Royal Academy, they saw that it was getting late and decided to spend the night in Heaven Dou City. Upon arriving at the City Gate, Flender looked at the recruitment notice there and exclaimed, "Good heavens, just how rich is this Blue Tyrant Academy? They’ve even put advertisements up at the City Gate."

A recruitment notice was posted on the bulletin board at the City Gate. A high-level Soul Master Academy called Blue Tyrant Academy was recruiting ten teachers who were Soul Ancestors or above.

Qin Ming explained Blue Tyrant Academy to them. It was the complete opposite of Heaven Dou Royal Academy: it only accepted commoner students and refused to admit nobles. Its scale was no small matter either; it was far larger than Shrek Academy.

Flender immediately declared that he wanted to join Blue Tyrant Academy. Naturally, everyone could only follow him, and the group headed there.

The group arrived at Blue Tyrant Academy’s reception room. Flender looked at the teacher in charge of reception and said, "Hello, we’re here to apply for teaching positions."

The teacher responsible for receiving them nodded. "Please come with me. If you pass the test, you may become teachers at Blue Tyrant Academy."

With that, the teacher led them into a grand hall. Several Soul Kings were waiting inside, and the leader looked at Flender’s group. "Who would like to be tested first?"

"I will." Qin Ming stepped forward.

As he spoke, rings of Soul Rings appeared around Qin Ming.

Yellow, yellow, purple, purple, purple, black.

"Qin Ming, level sixty-two assault-type battle Soul Emperor. Martial Soul: Blazing Fire Wolf. Please instruct me."

The corners of their mouths twitched. Soul Kings testing a Soul Emperor—wasn’t that just asking for death? The leader smiled and said, "Sir, Soul Emperors do not need to undergo testing at our academy. You may join Blue Tyrant Academy directly."

"Oh, in that case, none of us should need testing either. Brothers, let this teacher see our strength." With that, Flender and the others all displayed their Soul Rings.

There were another two Soul Emperors, and even three Soul Saints. The Soul Kings in charge of testing were dumbfounded. Their leader immediately clasped his hands and said, "Seniors, your strength is far too formidable. I must consult our dean and have her determine your ranks and compensation. Please, this way."

As he spoke, he gestured for them to follow and led everyone into a forest.

After entering the forest, they heard a woman singing. Flender and Yu Xiaogang both stopped walking. When the song ended, tears were already streaming down Yu Xiaogang’s face.

Suddenly, Yu Xiaogang turned to run, but Flender immediately stopped him. "Xiaogang, after all these years, are you still unwilling to see her?"

"Flender, did you know she was here all along?!" Yu Xiaogang demanded.

Flender did know, but he could not admit it outright. Instead, he put on an innocent expression. "It’s just a coincidence. I didn’t know she was here either. Come on, you’ll have to face it sooner or later."

As he spoke, Flender pushed Yu Xiaogang onward.

At the center of the forest was a lake. A small house stood beside it, and a beautiful woman in a blue-green cloth dress was watering the flowers and plants she had grown outside.

The woman sensed that someone had arrived and looked in their direction. Upon seeing Flender and Yu Xiaogang, her hand trembled, and the watering can fell to the ground. Then, in an excited flash, she appeared before Yu Xiaogang and Flender.

Liu Erlong’s voice was choked with emotion. "X-Xiaogang, is it really you?"

The Master stared at Liu Erlong with reddened eyes. He had a thousand words to say, yet none would come out.

Flender broke the silence. "Our Golden Triangle has finally reunited today. Sister Erlong, have you been well these years?"

Soon afterward, Flender and Liu Erlong began chatting. As they talked, Liu Erlong decided to rename Blue Tyrant Academy Shrek Academy, leaving Flender immensely grateful.

After Liu Erlong led everyone through dinner, Yu Xiaogang looked at Tang San and said, "Xiao San, come take a walk with me."

Tang San nodded slightly, and Su Yu immediately joined in. "Teacher, I’ll come too."

"No need. I’m just taking a walk to clear my head. Having Xiao San with me is enough. I’m afraid you could argue me into having a problem even if I had none." Yu Xiaogang smiled.

This was the first smile Yu Xiaogang had shown since arriving at Blue Tyrant Academy. Liu Erlong’s heart stirred slightly when she saw it. Yu Xiaogang immediately noticed her gaze, and the smile vanished from his face as he left with Tang San.

Liu Erlong walked over to Su Yu and looked at him. "Child, what is your name?"

"Hello, Mistress. My name is Su Yu, and I’m the Master’s second disciple. The one Teacher just called out is his eldest disciple, Tang San." Su Yu flashed a brilliant smile.

At this moment, Su Yu gave off the feeling of a sunny young man.

Hearing Su Yu call her Mistress, Liu Erlong immediately laughed happily. She hooked an arm around Su Yu’s shoulders and said, "Xiao Yu, from now on, your Mistress will look after you. If anyone dares bully you, just tell me. I’ll beat them up for you!"

Su Yu smiled. "All right, thank you, Mistress~"

Everyone looked at Liu Erlong and Su Yu with strange expressions. Who exactly needed protecting by whom here…?

Liu Erlong then asked Su Yu about everything concerning Yu Xiaogang. Su Yu told her every detail, from the time he met Yu Xiaogang until now. He even revealed all of Yu Xiaogang’s embarrassing moments over the years, making Liu Erlong laugh heartily.

Just as Liu Erlong and Su Yu were chatting happily, Yu Xiaogang rushed in frantically. "Xiao Yu, come with me to find Dugu Bo. Xiao San was just taken away by him." As he spoke, Yu Xiaogang furiously slammed his fist onto the table.

Su Yu’s expression turned cold. "Dugu Bo has some nerve, coming to provoke us again. But why did he capture Xiao San?"

Su Yu had originally called Tang San Senior Brother, but after only a few months, so as not to make himself seem younger than Xiao Wu, he started calling Tang San Xiao San as well. Tang San did not mind at all.

Yu Xiaogang frowned. "From what Dugu Bo said just now, he originally wanted to capture Oscar. But Oscar was with you, and that old man didn’t dare approach. So he found Xiao San and me while we were alone, then took Xiao San away."

Su Yu looked at Yu Xiaogang. "Teacher, don’t worry. I’ll go find Xiao San."

After saying that, Su Yu vanished. Liu Erlong stood there, utterly bewildered. A living person had disappeared into thin air—how could she not be stunned?
