Great Sin Reincarnator Vincent?
This time, the pain of muscle tearing did not appear. Instead, Bai Cangshu felt a momentary burning in his nerves. Even someone with Bai Cangshu’s extraordinary tolerance had his facial muscles twitch at that agonizing pain.
Fortunately, the pain came quickly and vanished even faster.
Mental attribute increased. Current: 13Bai Cangshu frowned. Could he be one of the unluckiest Reincarnators in the Reincarnation Space?
The space had once again, very "coincidentally," assigned his free attribute point to his weakest attribute—Mental. If it had all gone into Agility, he would already be able to reach his first extreme attribute.
Although the Mental attribute could affect one’s perception in battle and the ability to obtain combat information provided by the space, at the early stage, it had the least direct effect on physical combat.
Other than Reincarnators who had obtained special abilities from the very beginning, almost no one would willingly put their attribute points into Mental.
Other than that curse mark, Bai Cangshu currently possessed almost nothing that could benefit from the Mental attribute. For him, this allocation was terribly ill-timed.
However, Bai Cangshu had heard a rumor from that professor. It was said that the Supreme Experts of the space were not limited to the publicly known masters of individual attributes. A very small number of Reincarnators possessed talent in multiple attributes and would thus receive invitations to compete for the more secretive title of Hidden Supreme Expert.
Those Supreme Experts with balanced multiple attributes were the ones truly qualified to contend for the title of strongest in the space.
But the professor had said that this was merely a rumor. At the very least, he had never heard of or seen the title or abilities of any multi-attribute Supreme Expert.
There were only two possibilities. One was that so-called multi-attribute Supreme Experts did not exist at all and were merely an "urban legend" fabricated by someone.
The other possibility was, naturally, that everyone who encountered a multi-attribute Supreme Expert had been killed.
Bai Cangshu merely frowned before setting the matter aside for now. His time in the space was limited, since the flow of time differed between mission worlds, the space, and the real world.
To avoid missing the best opportunity, Bai Cangshu only gave his gains from the previous world a cursory glance.
Aside from the Secret Rite: Inari God’s Strike curse mark and the Breathing Style (D+) he obtained at the end, he had not acquired many other valuable items. He had exchanged for quite a few consumables, though.
In addition, due to the Side Missions and Hidden Missions, Bai Cangshu had obtained a total of three C-rank Anomaly Points and one E-rank Anomaly Point. All things considered, his gains exceeded those from his first world.
Dimensional Points were even more abundant than ever because Demon Slayer World had so many Man-eating Demons. His Dimensional Points had now reached the lofty total of 9,750. That was after deducting the thousand-plus points spent to heal his injuries; otherwise, his actual total would have already exceeded ten thousand.
This number of Dimensional Points made Bai Cangshu believe that the Cultivation Institute and Appraisal Office he had yet to visit were probably enormous Dimensional Point sinks. Otherwise, the space’s Dimensional Points would have inflated long ago.
Of course, Bai Cangshu had overlooked something. He himself was one of the rare newcomers with combat strength far beyond his rank, and he had entered a world flooded with Man-eating Demons due to Kibutsuji Muzan’s mutation while carrying Hamon.
From a certain perspective, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was practically Bai Cangshu’s farming world.
Bai Cangshu appeared once more on the familiar bridge. He could freely choose where to enter the public space, yet he still chose this place.
Sure enough, the moment he appeared, several Reincarnator brokers quickly cast glances his way. But upon seeing Bai Cangshu’s Visage of an Ancient God, they knew he was no newcomer and looked away again.
Bai Cangshu, however, flashed a grin that revealed gleaming white teeth.
"Yo, you space hyenas. I’ve got some very valuable information. Interested?"
Bai Cangshu’s words drew their attention. Upon taking a closer look at his appearance, their minds were all sharply jolted.
But in the Reincarnation Space, resources were the capital one needed to stay alive. The few of them still came over and asked,
"What information? Tell us first."
The speaker wore a full set of ninja gear, with a Konoha forehead protector on his head and short gray hair. He looked like a second-rate cosplayer.
Bai Cangshu raised one finger and lowered his voice slightly.
"It concerns those cards and Special Number Reincarnators. What do you think?"
The brokers all froze, unable to believe such a good opportunity had fallen into their laps.
If all the information in the space were openly priced, then aside from the basic common knowledge that could only fool newcomers, the most valuable information would undoubtedly be secret clues about various Plot Worlds, as well as advancement paths and methods of acquiring different abilities.
But above even that, there was information that major factions and large teams would be willing to buy at a high price.
For example… cards and Special Reincarnators.
The man wearing the Konoha forehead protector moved lightly, instantly closing in on Bai Cangshu.
"I’ll offer 1,000 Dimensional Points, provided your information is real."
Another man, dressed in a neat black suit and styled like a butler, lagged a few steps behind. He frowned and asked in return,
"How can you prove your information is genuine?"
Bai Cangshu did not care about their suspicions in the slightest. He waved a hand and raised one finger.
"A newcomer from the Azure Sky team also went through that world. During a cooperative mission in the Demon Slayer Spinoff World, a Special Number Reincarnator killed another Reincarnator and obtained a Scarlet Drop."
The butler-like man frowned. He glanced through the monocle over his left eye. The other party was not lying. A Special Number Reincarnator had really appeared?!
"I’ll offer 1,500."
Seeing Black Butler join in, the others all began to feel that this might not be a scam. Moments later, a group of brokers crowded over, trying to negotiate a price.
But Bai Cangshu shook his head.
"I can give you this information for free, but on the condition that you cannot reveal I was the source."
"And that Reincarnator disguised his number. I also can’t guarantee that his current appearance and number are still the same as the ones I described."
Upon hearing this, Black Butler became even more convinced of the information’s authenticity. He guessed that the man before him had likely suffered a heavy loss in the mission world and wanted to use this method to retaliate against that Special Reincarnator.
No matter. As long as he had even a scrap of information, he could make quite a profit from those gatherings.
Being used as the other party’s weapon once was not such a bad thing.
A few minutes later, news that a suspected new Great Sin System Special Reincarnator had appeared swept through the East District public space and spread to an even wider area.
"Vincent? Being able to obtain a Scarlet Drop in a cooperative mission world is indeed a trait of a Great Sin System Reincarnator…"
In the Slum Area, a man lay on the lounge chair at his stall, his weathered, bearded face covered by a hat. Listening to the discussions of the surrounding Reincarnators, he pondered this fellow named Vincent.
That blond, muscular man’s appearance was hardly distinctive; there were hundreds, if not thousands, of them in the Reincarnation Space. The fact that he had once used the codename Lu Ziyang, however, counted as a clue.
Smack!
He suddenly slapped himself, startling the stall owners around him.
Hey, hey, why are you thinking about this, An Zhiyuan? Let those newcomers make a fuss on their own. Just enjoy your decadent days in peace.
"Um, hello. I heard this is the most accurate fortune-telling stall in the entire Slum Area. I’d like to have my fortune told."
A voice interrupted An Zhiyuan’s thoughts. He lifted half his hat away, then immediately burst into curses.
"Fuck, what an ugly face!"
