Hela

"Seth, today, you will die by my hand for the second time."

With that calm yet supremely confident voice, all the black-and-white light between heaven and earth vanished, replaced by a blood-red glow. Then Wang Bert stepped out of the void. The space of the entire Main Universe trembled and cheered for him.

The Space Lord had returned to the main world.

Compared to before, Wang Bert was clearly more arrogant, more indifferent, and more confident.

As long as he was in the Main Universe, he feared no enemy. Besides, the Dragon Soul Clone had returned to his body. He was now at his strongest.

The moment the Blood God appeared, the crushing weight on the human army’s hearts disappeared. Everyone looked up at the figure in the sky with worship in their eyes, and their morale swiftly recovered—everyone believed that with the Blood God here, Earth would never lose.

"So this is the Blood God?"

The spectators stared at the Blood God in the sky, desperately trying to make out his face. But the distance was too great, and Wang Bert was shielded by a blood-red glow. They could not see him clearly at all.

"Blood God!"

Serpent God Set glared at Wang Bert through gritted teeth and shouted, "You finally came. I will devour you."

Wang Bert said calmly, "If you want to devour me, send your true body. A mere projection is not even enough to warm me up."

Seth laughed in fury. "The more arrogant you are now, the more miserably I’ll make you die later."

Ancient gods generally did not leave their own dimensions lightly, because within them, they were absolutely safe. Even Creator Gods found it difficult to kill them.

"Why does no one ever believe the truth?"

Wang Bert sighed theatrically, then said to the phantoms behind Seth, "Do you want to join in too? If you miss this chance, you will never have another opportunity to enter Earth."

"Arrogant!"

The ancient god phantoms cursed furiously, but none descended to Earth. On one hand, they were not prepared. On the other, too many of them would make it easy to draw out a certain troublesome person.

Not appearing was one thing, but the Blood God was being so arrogant. If they did not teach him a lesson, where would the ancient gods’ dignity be? The Eye Demon shouted, "Ancient One, this is a battle between the Serpent God and the Blood God. Watch the show with us."

The other ancient gods nodded. "That’s right, Ancient One. Watch the show with us."

"Fine, but you must promise not to invade Earth for a hundred years."

The Light Ancient One agreed without hesitation—she had complete confidence in the Blood God.

"A hundred years? No problem. It’ll pass in the blink of an eye."

The ancient gods nodded in agreement. After thinking for a moment, the Light Ancient One added, "By the way, Angels and Dark Elves are not bound by this agreement."

"Those ants are irrelevant."

One ancient god spoke dismissively. To it, only ancient gods counted as equal life forms.

Hearing the ancient gods and Ancient One reach an agreement, Seth’s seven heads burst into laughter. "Hahaha, Blood God, now you’re dead for sure."

"Since they have an agreement, let’s make one too."

Wang Bert smiled. "If I lose, I’ll give you the Space Stone. If you lose, all the Serpent Crowns belong to me. How about it?"

"How about not?"

Seth sneered. "Once I kill you, wouldn’t it be better to take the Stone straight from your corpse?"

"You won’t be able to. If I die, the Space Stone will return to the universe."

Wang Bert replied calmly. Yes, return to the universe, and then Wang Bert would be reborn.

Wang Bert had already completely absorbed the Space Stone. He was space, and space was him. As long as the Main Universe remained, he would never die.

"Fine, I’ll take that bet. After all, I’m guaranteed to win."

Seth sneered and shouted, "Attack! Eliminate every living thing on Earth and turn this place into my territory!"

"Attack!"

The Snake Clan army roared themselves hoarse. Then, under the command of the Serpent Gods, they charged toward New York City in great strides, making the entire ground shake.

Wang Bert shouted, "Earth has never feared challenges. If you want war, then war it is!"

"War! War! War…"

The Blood Clan, Angels, Earthlings, Asgardians, Dark Elves, Xandarians, alien mercenaries… all shouted at once. Then, led by Steve riding Hydra, they fearlessly charged to meet the Snake Clan army.

Hulk, Damon, Jarvis, and the others acted as the vanguard, rushing at the very front. At that moment, they thought of nothing but killing every Snake Clan member before them.

Moments later, fierce battles erupted in both the sky and on the ground. At the first clash alone, over ten thousand lives were buried on that terrifying battlefield.

Hulk roared as he grabbed a Serpent God hundreds of meters long and swung it around like a whip. Boom! Boom! Boom! The ground shattered, and countless Snake Clan members were smashed into pulp.

Another Serpent God flew into a rage and opened its mouth, spraying a massive blast of freezing air at Hulk in an attempt to encase him in ice. Just then, blue flames soared into the sky and melted all the frost.

From within the mist, skull-faced Damon rode the Hellcycle and said with a savage expression, "Your opponent is me."

Steve, Strange, Mordo, Skye, Black Bolt, the Avenging Angel, and the others also sought out the Serpent Gods. Simply put, soldiers fought soldiers, generals fought generals. Both sides merged into a chaotic mass and fought to the death.

"These Snake Clan members most likely know about nuclear bombs, so we can’t launch them directly. If we do, they’ll definitely destroy them in advance."

Doom said to Shuri in Wakanda, "We’ll shrink the nuclear bombs and load them onto unmanned fighter jets. At first, we fight normally. Once they lower their guard, fly into their ranks and detonate them.

Remember, they must all go off at the same time. We won’t get a second chance."

Shuri asked in confusion, "I understand the reasoning, but why shrink the nuclear bombs? Unmanned fighters can carry them!"

"One can carry a bomb, of course, but how could one be enough?"

Doom sneered. "We have plenty of nuclear bombs, and someone else is footing the bill. Shrink them with Pym Particles, then blow them all up."

"Wow, that’s exciting."

Shuri immediately got to work. Doom, meanwhile, used Teleportation to enter the Celestial Head and personally control it in battle.

The Celestial Head was no joke. Using Cosmic Energy as its power source, it finished charging and fired a Cosmic Energy beam hundreds of meters wide from its left eye. It instantly killed a Serpent God and tore a massive rift through the ground, killing countless Snake Clan members in the process.

The Snake Clan forces were shocked. Their commander immediately led several Serpent Gods to surround and attack it, preventing the Celestial Head from displaying its might again.

It was worth mentioning that the Serpent Gods’ hierarchy was similar to those of Heaven and Asgard.

"Wow, what a grand spectacle."

A Hell Demon King watched the battle on the plains and said to Adam, "Adam, you harvest the Snake Clan lives, and we’ll harvest the human lives. That way, everyone profits. It’s countless times better than killing each other here."

"I told you, I will protect Earth."

Adam scoffed. "Besides, your plan is completely idiotic. Without Satan, Hell can’t stand against the ancient gods. If we do as you say, Hell will sooner or later be destroyed."

In Hell, only Satan was an ancient god. That was also why the lords wanted the position of Satan so badly.

"Then we’ll keep fighting."

The Hell Demon King snorted. In truth, the battle no longer held much meaning, but if they did not fight, Adam would surely take the Hell Demons to protect the humans. The Hell Demon King did not want to let Adam benefit.

In Hell, hurting others without benefiting oneself was perfectly normal.

Seeing those powerful figures in the sky, the Dimensional Demon Gods all chose to stand aside. Both sides were big shots. They could not afford to offend either.

This planar war was far too intense. Before long, the number of lives lost on the battlefield exceeded one hundred thousand. A massive amount of death energy poured into Little Hela’s body, and her aura surged dramatically.

At that moment, Little Hela’s consciousness entered a mental space, where a woman was waiting for her.

The woman was extraordinarily beautiful, but her clothes were ragged, and she had severe dark circles beneath her eyes, giving her a decadent yet wicked charm.

It was worth mentioning that dark clouds filled the sky above the woman, while sunlight shone above Little Hela. The two sides could not have been more different.

"I am you. I am Hela."

Hela got straight to the point. The massive amount of death energy had awakened her from her slumber.

"So I really am Hela."

Little Hela was not particularly surprised. She sighed, and Hela frowned. "You knew?"

"With such obvious dark-circle traits, how could I not know?"

Little Hela said, "The moment the Super Heroes Hela character appeared, I sensed something was wrong. Later, I used a computer to predict what I would look like when I grew up, and the result looked exactly like Hela."

Hela possessed most of Little Hela’s memories, so she knew what this character named Hela was about. She snorted coldly. "For Odin, a hundred and eight ways to die would be letting him off too easily.

"Enough of that. Give me control of the body. I will absorb the death energy, restore my strength, then kill Odin and seize the throne of Asgard."

"You have such low ambitions. What is there to want from a dump like Asgard? The people there live too long and have no drive to improve themselves."

Little Hela shook her head. "Humans, by comparison, are a far better investment. I’m confident I can become Speaker and lead humanity in establishing a Galactic Empire.

"Besides, although Grandpa Odin made mistakes, he knows he was wrong. There’s no need to kill him."

"He’s only acting."

Hela shouted, "I guarantee that the moment he learns I’ve awakened, he’ll immediately kill you. And your Master has been using you all along. There are no good people in this world. You can only rely on yourself."

"You’re so pitiful."

Little Hela looked at Hela with pity and said, "You trust no one. You have no feelings left, only death, slaughter, and hatred.

"You want to conquer the universe not because you truly have such great ambition, but because you want revenge on this world and want everyone else to become like you.

"Hela, you are a pitiful madwoman."

"What are you talking about? Don’t forget, you’re only one of my clones."

Hela was so furious that her hair nearly smoked, because what Little Hela said was true.

Conquer the universe? No, she merely wanted an excuse to create death.

"No, I’m not your clone. I have an independent self. I’m a real living being. I even have a soul."

Little Hela smiled faintly, and her consciousness lit up with the radiance of a soul. Hela stared in astonishment. "That’s impossible. How can you have a soul?"

Having a soul meant being an independent individual.

"Because I have a good Master. He secretly used the Reality Stone to complete my soul. To keep me from discovering the truth, he deliberately hid it from me. Heh, he doesn’t know that I actually know everything."

Little Hela smiled and said, "Hela, I am your little sister. I had a healthy childhood, and I had the care of my Master and family. I’m a whole person, unlike you, who is psychologically damaged."

"Why do you get all the good things?"

Hela roared, her voice full of intense jealousy. In truth, that jealousy had existed from the moment she awakened from her dream, but now it erupted completely.

Everything Little Hela possessed was what Hela wanted most.

"Hela, these good things do not belong only to me. They belong to you too. You can feel everything I experienced before."

Little Hela said, "As long as you are willing to turn back, you will have everything I have."

"Dream on. No matter what, I will kill Odin, then lead Asgard to conquer the universe."

Hela said through gritted teeth. Her heart had long been filled with slaughter and hatred, leaving no room for anything else.

Little Hela sighed. "It seems it won’t be easy to reform you."

"Reform me?"

Hela said disdainfully, "You? Hmph, I will devour your soul and turn you into my clone again."

"You want to kill me, but I don’t want to kill you."

Little Hela shook her head. "Because if you die, Grandpa Odin will be very sad. Hela, we can talk about the future later. Lend me your power, and let’s deal with the invaders together."

Hela sneered. "Why should I? And aren’t you afraid I’ll devour you while I have the chance?"

"You don’t have that ability. I’m not weak."

Little Hela said confidently. "As for why? After the battle ends, I’ll have Master release you. How about that?"

"Will Master agree?"

Hearing that form of address, Little Hela secretly laughed. It seemed her memories had still influenced the other side. Hela could be saved.

That was one reason why Little Hela had not severed their soul connection after gaining a soul.

Little Hela smiled. "He will. To him, you’re nothing much. Besides, the more miserable Odin is, the happier he’ll be."

"Fine, I’ll grant you that."

Hela hesitated for a moment before nodding. After all, she could use the opportunity to erode Little Hela’s soul. Even if she failed, she could still leave her prison. Either way, she would profit.

As Hela agreed, the two figures instantly merged. Then, on the battlefield, Little Hela’s body rapidly grew larger within a black glow. In the blink of an eye, she became a younger version of Hela.

Because the Dragon Armor could enlarge automatically, Little Hela did not end up with shortened clothes like Lina.

"The power of death truly is terrifying. Unfortunately, you do not understand death’s true essence."

Little Hela shook her head. Hela scoffed. "You’re only a few years old. I don’t understand it, but you do?"

"Of course I do."

Little Hela said no more. She ran a hand through her hair, turning it into rows of sharp spikes, then shouted to Lina, who was controlling water in battle nearby, "Make me a mirror."

Lina first made a water mirror, then asked in surprise, "Okay. Huh? Hela, why did you grow up too?"

"Same as you. I ate too much."

Little Hela smiled and began examining herself in the mirror. After a moment, she returned the spikes to normal and said, "Just as ugly as in the game. Hela, your taste is terrible."
