Horus: Damn, I Became the Imperial Regent??
"You wish." Girori shouted. "Do you have any idea what the consequences will be if you lay hands on the DGP?"
"What consequences could there be?" Raven asked, tilting his head.
Girori wore a disdainful expression. "Behind the DGP stand the gods. They possess power beyond imagination. If you make enemies of them, you won’t be able to bear the consequences."
Raven nodded. "Zi-O Beast, go kick him twice, then tell everyone that this guy was the one who brought us to the DGP."
Girori’s expression changed. How could this bird be so vicious?!
Tokiwa Sougo did not hesitate in the slightest.
He stepped forward and kicked Girori so hard that he began questioning his life choices.
The pain left him unable to get back up for a long while.
"Administrator."
Tsumuri crouched down to check on Girori.
Seeing Tokiwa Sougo about to add another two kicks, she hurriedly shouted.
"Enough, stop hitting him! I’ll take you there."
"The young lady knows what’s what." Raven nodded.
"Please allow me to come as well," Ukiyo Ace said.
"You?" Raven looked at Ukiyo Ace.
"Honorable Lord Raven." Ukiyo Ace lowered his posture considerably. "I have been searching for my mother. The only clue I have is that she is connected to the DGP. Please help me."
"Fine." Raven looked at Ukiyo Ace. The kid was filial and spoke pleasantly enough, so helping him would not hurt.
To keep Girori from taking any more beatings, Tsumuri led Raven’s group to the behind-the-scenes headquarters of the DGP Desire Grand Prix.
"Transform."
Tokiwa Sougo, Tsukasa Kadoya, and Ukiyo Ace shouted as they transformed.
They became Kamen Rider Zi-O, Decade, and Kamen Rider Geats respectively.
The three of them joined forces and defeated the DGP staff.
At that moment, dozens of beams of light suddenly bloomed.
Former Desire Grand Prix contestants appeared one after another.
Kamen Rider Tanuki, Kamen Rider Ox, Kamen Rider Jack-o’-lantern, Kamen Rider Sparrow, Kamen Rider Cat…
All the contestants who had once achieved brilliant results were summoned here.
This left them utterly surprised.
"What’s going on? Has a new round of the competition begun?"
"Strange. This time, they did not even ask whether we wanted to participate."
The Riders were deeply confused.
"Defeat these invaders, and you will become the champions of this Desire Grand Prix." Niram stepped out and announced it to the Riders.
"Trash like you think you’re worthy of fighting a king?"
Kamen Rider Zi-O’s voice was icy. He turned his Transformation Device and summoned the Riders he had once defeated.
"That makes sense." Decade agreed with Kamen Rider Zi-O. He raised a hand, inserted a summon card into his Transformation Device, and summoned Riders as well.
In an instant, rays of light emerged as Kamen Riders radiating terrifying auras appeared one after another.
Every single one was a top-tier powerhouse of the Kamen Rider Universe.
The two sides broke into battle.
Kamen Rider Zi-O knocked down one Kamen Rider with every punch, forcing them out of their transformed states.
"Damn it."
Niram took out the Administrator Belt and transformed.
But he was facing Kamen Rider Zi-O, and a third-stage one at that.
Naturally, the DGP Administrator Belt gave him combat power far beyond that of ordinary Riders.
He merely endured one more punch than the others before collapsing.
"He’s the Administrator."
Kamen Rider Geats dragged Niram before Raven.
"You’re the one who captured my man?" Raven asked.
"My man?" Niram recalled everything he had done recently.
Captured someone?
Who had he captured?
Could it be…
Realizing something, Niram’s face turned deathly pale. "You mean that Rider from the Other Universe?"
"Looks like you’re not completely stupid." Raven said, "You dared capture my man? Did your DGP grow some serious nerve? This matter will absolutely not end here."
Niram was completely dumbfounded.
That Other Universe Rider had mocked them before.
He had snapped back without any courtesy, believing that the DGP feared no force.
And now he had been slapped in the face.
They were practically about to smash the whole DGP to pieces.
Just what was up with these Riders?!
Every one of them was so powerful, possessing strength comparable to gods, yet they all served this guy.
A man wearing a red hooded robe appeared.
"It’s all a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding. The DGP detected an abnormal intrusion, so we invited your subordinate in for an investigation."
"Founder."
"Founder."
The DGP staff all saluted the red-robed man.
The newcomer was none other than Suel, founder of the Desire Grand Prix.
Girori, Niram, Tsumuri, and the other DGP higher-ups were shocked by Suel’s appearance.
The Founder was always elusive and rarely showed himself in person.
He only appeared when the DGP Desire Grand Prix encountered severe problems.
His status was extremely lofty.
Rumor had it that he possessed power surpassing that of the gods.
Niram secretly thought, This Raven seems to have quite the background. Even the Founder does not dare offend him lightly.
"A misunderstanding? You say it’s a misunderstanding, and that makes it one?" Raven did not give Suel any face. "Where is my man?"
Suel clapped his hands.
Ito was brought out by someone.
The moment he saw Raven, he realized who Raven was.
After all, back in Spacetime City, there had been a massive Raven statue behind that woman from the Magic Mirror.
And she had mentioned Lord Raven before as well.
"Lord Raven." Ito walked over and bowed respectfully.
Working for a boss like this was great.
When something happened, he came personally to bail out his employee.
"Mhm, you did well. Go stand to the side for now." Raven had Ito step aside. This was no longer Ito’s problem.
"Are you satisfied now?" Suel asked.
"No." Raven shook his head. "Hand over the person, and I’ll leave you an intact corpse. Refuse, and I’ll turn you into eight pieces."
"Do not push things too far. You are outsiders in the end," Suel said. "Do not overstep yourselves."
"Kamen Rider Geats." Raven tilted his head toward Kamen Rider Geats, who was still holding Niram. "This is the world you protect. Tell me, which of us is the outsider?"
Kamen Rider Geats revealed a faint smile. He tossed aside Niram and gave Raven an elegant gentleman’s bow.
"How could the honorable Mr. Raven be an outsider? Mr. Raven is this world’s most distinguished guest. As for certain shameless people who rely on force to bully weaker worlds, they are the true outsiders."
Suel’s expression changed instantly. "Kamen Rider Geats, you are from this universe. Instead of helping me, you help these outsiders? You damned traitor."
"You’re saying I’m a traitor too?"
Kamen Rider Zi-O and Decade turned to look over, their oppressive presence overwhelming.
Even with the power of a god, Suel found it difficult to withstand the pressure brought by these two supreme Riders.
"If that is the case, then battle is the only option."
Suel took out a DGP Transformation Device and transformed into Kamen Rider Ligard Ω.
"Feel the despair brought by the God of Time, you ignorant fools."
Before he could finish speaking, a mechanical tentacle lashed over and knocked this God of Time back into his original form.
"Quit yapping. You’re delaying my creation." Primal Heavenly Venerate grabbed Suel. "What kind of god do you think you are?"
Suel was completely bewildered.
He had been defeated just like that.
This was not scientific.
The DGP suffered a crushing defeat.
The gods who supported the DGP did not dare step forward.
Raven’s group was far too powerful.
Leaving aside the others, the third-stage Kamen Rider Zi-O alone, along with Decade, who had evolved into his strongest form after receiving Raven’s gift, was enough to give them a headache.
Even if they stepped forward, it would accomplish nothing. They would merely humiliate themselves.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Kamen Rider Geats grabbed Suel and asked about his mother.
"You traitor will never learn where your mother is." Suel sneered.
With no other choice, Kamen Rider Geats could only ask Raven for help again, hoping he had some way to find his mother.
"Bring me five new flavors of fries, and I’ll help you find her."
"Alright." Desperate to find his mother, Kamen Rider Geats immediately nodded.
Raven used the Authority of Mist to peer into Kamen Rider Geats’s destiny line and quickly found his mother.
In fact, his mother had been inside the DGP all along.
Kamen Rider Geats had even met her several times before, only he had failed to recognize her.
That was because Suel had turned his mother into a stone statue.
She was the Creation Goddess Statue, the source of power behind the final prize of the DGP Desire Grand Prix: a wish capable of changing the world.
"She is my mother?" Kamen Rider Geats looked at the white stone statue before him, then at Raven.
"Of course." Raven casually extracted the power of time from Suel’s body and used it to reverse the statue’s time, restoring it to how it had been before becoming stone.
The Creation Goddess Statue returned to the appearance of a woman. She was Mitsume, Ukiyo Ace’s mother.
Of course, she was not a true Creation Goddess.
She had once been a guide for the Desire Grand Prix, but she had accidentally fallen in love with Ukiyo Ace’s father and borne the fruit of their love.
Enraged and humiliated, the DGP imprisoned them both and planned to execute them in secret.
Unable to bear the thought of her beloved and child being executed, Mitsume prayed in secret, willing to pay any price to protect them.
And among the foundational rules of the Kamen Rider Universe was one: those with unwavering conviction could gain the power to fulfill that conviction.
Thus, a miracle occurred. Her prayer was answered.
Mitsume was granted the power of creation.
It allowed her to create a world where her beloved and child could survive.
Using the power of creation, Mitsume successfully sent away her beloved and child.
She herself was captured by Suel and turned into a stone statue, becoming a tool of the DGP Desire Grand Prix.
At the same time, Suel used Mitsume’s power to create new guides and arranged for them to wield new powers of creation, allowing him to continually absorb the power of people’s desires and grow stronger.
The entire truth was revealed.
Suel’s face turned pale, and in the end, Kamen Rider Zi-O killed him with the Ultimate Saber.
Ukiyo Ace excitedly embraced his mother and took her home.
"As long as one’s conviction is firm enough, one will be granted the power to realize it. This setting is excellent. It should be incorporated into the newly created universe."
Primal Heavenly Venerate swept away the frustration he had felt when first summoned.
Instead, he began studying the rules of the Kamen Rider Universe.
"Transformations, the Force, and now you want to add Kamen Riders? Isn’t this turning into a total mishmash?"
Raven grumbled inwardly, only praying that this guy would not cause some enormous disaster.
Ito was sent back to Spacetime City.
He would continue traveling through other dimensions and universes, working tirelessly for Raven.
Meanwhile.
At the capital of the Human Empire, Terra.
This place had become immensely majestic and spectacular.
The sun had become an object in humanity’s grasp.
Having developed to this point, human civilization had long since reached an exceptionally glorious height.
It was difficult to imagine what force could possibly destroy it.
Malcador looked at the reports from the Kantai Collection Universe, Transformers Universe, Ultra Universe, and Kamen Rider Universe.
He quietly shut himself away in his black tower for an entire night.
Everyone else was having fun in other universes, while he alone was working himself to death.
Even Perturabo was running around everywhere, building wonders across various universes.
Recently, he had been tinkering with some kind of trans-universal portal, planning to connect every universe the Empire could contact.
Several days passed just like that.
Malcador’s attendants were genuinely worried sick, which was why they entered the black tower to find him.
Yet they discovered that Malcador had run away, leaving behind only a single sentence.
"Go tell Horus that if he wishes to become the first among the sons, he must shoulder his responsibilities."
The numerous attendants exchanged glances in dismay.
He was the dignified Imperial Regent, second only to one, and above tens of thousands.
A single word from him could determine the life or death of a galaxy.
Such immense power, and he gave it up just like that?
Having already fled, Malcador expressed that whoever loved this damn job could do it.
Thinking back to the beginning, brother was also a man who was unconstrained and loved freedom.
If not for meeting a certain Big Guy who kept on sweet-talking about undertaking some grand cause for humanity.
He would never have gotten mixed up in this mess.
Let the damned power go to hell.
The very first place Malcador went to was the Kamen Rider Universe.
He was going to call them to account.
Why didn’t they take him along.
They had agreed on joint rule by the four pillars of the Empire.
In the end, all the work was piled onto his shoulders alone.
Truly shameless, bah.
In the Virgo Supercluster, within a certain nameless galaxy.
To eliminate the Tyranids, the Lunar Wolves had fought their way through the Magellanic Cloud and Andromeda, conquered the Local Group, and then led men to slaughter into the Virgo Core Cluster.
Now, they had even fought their way to this nameless galaxy over forty million light-years away from the Milky Way, completely wiping out the Hive Mind.
At this point, vast though the material universe was, there were no longer any opponents capable of forcing the Lunar Wolves to go all out.
Inside the strategic chamber of the Vengeful Spirit.
Numerous senior officers of the Lunar Wolves gathered together, discussing their next course of action.
"Terra hopes that we can shoulder more colonial responsibilities," Horus said.
Abaddon was somewhat displeased. "The entire universe was conquered by us; why do those mortals on Terra always point fingers at us?"
Horus looked at his First Captain. "We all serve the Empire, don’t quibble over so much."
"You should say that to them, or better yet, have them pick up swords and we’ll go back to Terra to handle government affairs," Abaddon retorted.
At that moment.
A communications officer wearing robes rushed in holding a dispatch, whispered beside Horus, and then handed the document to him.
Horus’s expression changed instantly as he glared at Abaddon.
He slammed the dispatch sent from Terra fiercely onto the table.
"Abaddon, are you happy now? Malcador has made me responsible for the entire Empire’s state affairs, while he himself has gone off to the front lines of the battlefield."
"Now your wish has come true, you can go back to Terra to handle government affairs."
Horus’s words made Abaddon’s eyes widen.
What on earth, Malcador ran away and dumped this mess of the Empire onto his own Primarch.
He had only been running his mouth!
How could Malcador just run off!
"Um, can I transfer to the Blood Angels or the Ultramarines?" Toqadon, who had always been humorous, touched his chin and said faintly, "I’m a natural-born warrior, I can’t do bureaucratic work."
