“How could I have forgotten about the range?”

This was the first time using the Slow Curse in combat after upgrading it to level 22.

I had forgotten about that massive 3,300-meter radius.

Such a large area covered almost all the small woods on both the left and right sides, naturally drawing out all the monsters inside as well.

"This is actually not a bad way to lure monsters, it's just that they run really slowly."

The dragon-kin monsters ran as if in slow motion, giving Lin Moyu enough time to attack.

The Dragon Spearman activated a skill.

The Skeleton Warriors retreated one after another. Most of the Skeleton Warriors successfully dodged the skill, but a few were a step too slow and were hit by it, falling into a stunned state once again.

Even so, Lin Moyu did not give the Dragon Spearman another chance to harm the Skeleton Warriors.

With a scream, the slow-motion Dragon Spearman fell under the spell attacks.

Then came a thunderous explosion.

The Dragon Spearmen lured by the Skeleton Warriors were all wiped out, not a single one remained.

At this moment, the Dragon Spearmen and Dragon Mages in the distance were still on their way, running slowly.

After their movements were slowed down by 33 times, at best, they were only comparable to a Professional around level 20.

Pathetically slow.

Lin Moyu waited for them to enter the attack range of the Skeleton Mages.

Then he began to pick them off one by one.

The Skeleton Warriors went up to meet them again, attacking while acting as a human wall to block the Dragon Spearmen outside.

Transparent shackles suddenly appeared on the bodies of the Skeleton Warriors.

Wind Binding!

The Skeleton Mages kept casting Wind Binding, trapping the Skeleton Warriors in place one by one.

It only slowed down their speed and did not affect their ability to use skills.

"The distance is quite far."

Lin Moyu was secretly alarmed.

At this moment, the Dragon Mages were at least 300 meters away from the Skeleton Warriors.

They could use skills from such a long distance.

It was much further than the range of the Skeleton Mages.

When the Skeleton Mages were Black Iron grade, their range was only 50 meters.

When they reached Bronze grade, the range reached 100 meters.

Now, as Silver grade Skeleton Mages, the range has reached 200 meters.

It was still a bit inferior to the Dragon Mages.

For mages, having a slightly longer range creates a much greater advantage.

The safety is higher, and they can even kite enemies.

Just like now.

20 Dragon Mages kept using skills, and the Skeleton Warriors were quickly trapped in place.

Then, a large area of Fire Rain fell.

The trapped Skeleton Warriors had no way to resist and could only passively endure it.

This is the disadvantage of Skeleton Warriors.

They have no counter-skills and are easily countered and targeted.

"Focus fire!"

Lin Moyu pointed at the Dragon Warrior charging at the front, and the Skeleton Mages immediately concentrated their attacks.

At the same time, Soul Fire flickered in Lin Moyu's hands.

As for the Skeleton Warriors, they could now only act as meat shields to attract fire.

Fortunately, their constitution was strong enough that it would take the Dragon Mages quite some time to kill them.

Two rounds of concentrated fire from the Skeleton Mages, plus Lin Moyu's Soul Fire.

Quickly picked off a Dragon Spearman.

Followed by Corpse Explosion!

The sound of explosions echoed through the Dungeon again, and the Dragon Spearmen died in a pile.

The range of Corpse Explosion was not enough to affect the Dragon Mages.

The Dragon Mages stood 300 meters away, constantly casting Fire Rain while controlling the Skeleton Warriors, refusing to come close at all.

If there were a Knight here, they could use the Provoke skill to lure the Dragon Mages over.

Some Knights also have chain skills, and could even pull the Dragon Mages directly in front of themselves.

At the same time, Knights have skills to resist control, so Wind Binding is useless against them.

Besides Knights, Lin Moyu also thought of Mages.

Some Mages have silence skills, which can cause mage-type monsters to lose their ability to attack.

But now…

There is only one way.

Let the Skeleton Mages advance rapidly and focus fire to pick off the Dragon Mages.

He would also cooperate with the Skeleton Mages, using Soul Fire to interrupt the Dragon Mages' skills as much as possible.

In this way, both sides entered a head-on combat state again.

Before the binding state ended, the Skeleton Warriors could not help at all.

They could only stand there like wooden stakes, acting as targets, and couldn't even be recalled to the Summoning Space.

This trip to the Dungeon was the most difficult one Lin Moyu had ever experienced.

Hell difficulty truly lived up to its name.

If Bai Yiyuan knew that Lin Moyu would choose to go to Hell difficulty, he would probably spit out a mouthful of old blood.

At this moment, Bai Yiyuan had already returned to the Xiajing Academy and back to his small courtyard.

Meng Anwen was still sitting there, drinking tea, not knowing what scenery he was admiring.

He seemed to be looking at something all the time, his gaze carrying a depth that no one could understand.

When Bai Yiyuan returned, Meng Anwen withdrew his gaze and poured him a cup of tea, "Did you deliver it?"

"Yes, it's delivered."

Meng Anwen looked at him with profound meaning, "It seems you really want to cultivate him, you even placed a brand on him in the Hall of Heroic Souls; your five-star Divine General rank has dropped to four-star, hasn't it?"

Bai Yiyuan had really invested heavily.

He even gave up his status as a five-star Divine General.

To place the brand on Lin Moyu, he consumed a large amount of military merit, dropping from a five-star Divine General to a four-star.

Others might not know the meaning of this, but Meng Anwen knew it very well.

On his shoulder, there was also a military badge, purple-gold, with five stars shining brightly.

Bai Yiyuan didn't care at all, "This kid has a future; I can't just let him have an accident and die."

"Our human race's geniuses have died enough; one less death is one less death."

Meng Anwen didn't dwell on this issue anymore, drinking tea, "He should have gone to the Dragon Outpost Dungeon by now."

"He definitely went; the task I gave him was to get some materials from the dragon-kin, he has to go whether he wants to or not."

Bai Yiyuan had a smug smile on his face.

It looked as if he had arranged every step for Lin Moyu, and Lin Moyu just had to follow along.

Meng Anwen said slowly, "The materials you want only drop in Nightmare difficulty at the very least, and the drop rate is very low."

Bai Yiyuan laughed, "That's exactly the effect I want. Doesn't that kid have a cooldown amulet? He'll get them after running it seven or eight times."

Meng Anwen shook his head, disapprovingly, "Tell me, is there a possibility that he chose Hell difficulty?"

Pfft!

Bai Yiyuan spat out a mouthful of tea.

His face was filled with disbelief, "No way, this kid isn't that stupid, is he?"

"How can you call it stupid? It should be called having confidence. This kid has always had confidence in himself, hasn't he? He was able to carry 39 people in the Tyrant Desert, so what else is impossible?"

Bai Yiyuan looked a bit depressed, "I should have warned him earlier not to go to a Hell difficulty Dungeon; Hell difficulty is completely different from Nightmare difficulty."

Meng Anwen said with a smile, "Anyway, if he really went, you can't control it anymore. You can't go in to save him either, so let fate decide. Anyway, you've already placed a brand on him, he won't die, at most he'll suffer a little."

— Please vote for flowers —

Bai Yiyuan's eyes were filled with worry, and he had a splitting headache.

"Why did I forget to tell him?"

Meng Anwen looked at Bai Yiyuan's pained expression, but the smile on his face became even stronger, as if he had seen something interesting.

There aren't many things that can give Bai Yiyuan a headache these days.

He placed the freshly poured teacup under his nose and said softly, "Then have you ever thought, what if he actually clears the Hell difficulty Dungeon?"

"Impossible!" Bai Yiyuan blurted out. This was his instinctive reaction; deep down, he didn't feel that Lin Moyu would have a chance to pass a Hell difficulty Dungeon.

Meng Anwen stopped talking and just drank his tea quietly, looking at Bai Yiyuan.

After a moment, Bai Yiyuan said in a deep voice, "If he really clears it, the benefits would be too great."

[Killed level 31 Dragon Mage, EXP +620,000]

[Obtained Dragon-kin Horn]

Finally, all the Dragon Mages were cleared out.

The Skeleton Mages were all injured one by one.

Lin Moyu recalled them into the Summoning Space to heal and recover.

He got two more Dragon-kin Horns; two horns from 20 mages, the drop rate is really too low.

In this battle, the Skeleton Warriors were basically standing around watching the show; the only thing missing was giving them a watermelon.

Lin Moyu found an empty spot and sat down to rest.

The Dungeon has only been pushed one-third of the way.

He has never had such a hard time clearing a Dungeon.

Inadvertently, he saw the Dungeon exit in the distance.

After fighting for so long, the exit was still within sight, and Lin Moyu couldn't help but laugh bitterly.

Who would have thought that Hell difficulty would be this high, completely exceeding expectations.

The key is not the increase in monster strength, but the various control skills of the monsters, which made Lin Moyu extremely uncomfortable.

Looking at the outpost fortress still in the distance, the fortress seemed to be exuding an aura of mockery.

Lin Moyu's mouth curled up slightly; since he was here, he would definitely fight to the end.

He had to go and see what the Hell difficulty Dungeon BOSS looked like.

Giving up halfway is not his personality.
