Hua Ye’s Return! Chu Yang’s Outrageous Demands!

Leina’s words sounded somewhat ambiguous, but no one believed that Carl, that research-mad lunatic, could be an obsessive love brain.

In fact, Leina’s guess made a great deal of sense.

She was the Dawn of the Sun, one of Kilan’s Three Major God-Making Projects. She could continuously drive stars and even detonate them.

That power held strategic value for any civilization.

But Chu Yang shook his head. "It’s not that simple. Carl is probably after the entire Lielang Civilization!"

"He wants to control Lielang and turn it into his tool!"

"After all, even the Big Clock can’t mobilize stellar energy on such a massive scale the way Lielang can."

Leina sucked in a cold breath, a chill running down her spine.

Control Lielang?

Carl truly had monstrous ambitions!

Lielang was an advanced civilization in the universe. Though its top-tier combat power was somewhat inferior to that of the angels and demons, it could still run rampant through the Known Universe.

If Pan Zhen had not been unwilling to make an enemy of Chu Yang and drag Lielang into endless war, he would never have compromised with Chu Yang and unconditionally helped him construct the Void Battlefield.

After all, any one of the Four Great Heavenly Guardians was among the best Third Generation God Bodies, while Pan Zhen himself stood at the very pinnacle of Third Generation God Bodies.

Back then, if not for the freakishly powerful Sun Wukong, the Lielang army would not have suffered defeat on Earth.

One had to know that the destruction of the Deno Star System had been orchestrated single-handedly by the First Sun God!

It was only later that he was retaliated against by the Nuo Star God of War, who cleaved off half of Liesun Star with a single axe blow.

Yet the remaining half of Liesun Star had a stable structure, allowing the Lielang Civilization to remain safe and sound. Now, however, Carl had pushed it to the brink of collapse.

In truth, the Lielang Civilization was not inherently warlike. At first, all their research had been aimed at responding to natural disasters caused by the sun, regulating its temperature and energy, and achieving the stable, safe use of solar energy for the benefit of all humanity in the universe.

Only later, for the sake of self-preservation, did they add offensive research.

Leina took a deep breath and asked solemnly, "Can it be solved?"

If possible, they naturally did not wish to leave Liesun Star. Otherwise, why would they have lived on this half-planet for tens of thousands of years?

Chu Yang shook his head. "Liesun Star’s current technology can only damage a celestial body’s stability. It cannot increase its stability."

"The Lielang Civilization also sent representatives to the War Council back then, so you should know that Sorey is in my hands."

"But he can only create planets and influence the planets he creates. He cannot affect other planets."

"Therefore, the collapse of Liesun Star is irreversible. However, I can help you flush out the culprit!"

A sharp glint flashed through Leina’s eyes as she gritted her teeth. "I want to kill him with my own hands!"

"We won’t need to look for him. He’ll reveal himself soon enough." Chu Yang said softly, "His mission is to destroy the Heavenly Dao Tower and Liesun Star’s core. Once Lielang begins arranging migration efforts, he’ll naturally become desperate for quick results."

"But with me here, he probably won’t dare show himself…"

Leina frowned. "Who is he?"

Chu Yang looked down at the countless lights below. "Nusa, one of Carl’s confidants. He possesses a powerful Void weapon capable of severely injuring a Fourth Generation God Body."

"However, the one carrying out sabotage on Liesun Star is not his true body, but a replica puppet."

"Even so, you are no match for him."

"After I leave, you and Pan Zhen can set an ambush. With the Four Great Heavenly Guardians as well, destroying this puppet won’t be difficult."

Leina was immediately invigorated by his words.

Even a replica puppet was this powerful. How strong, then, was the original body?

Seeing through her thoughts, Chu Yang smiled. "His true body is as strong as the Nuo Star God of War. But once this matter is exposed, Carl probably won’t dare cause trouble again."

"After all, the War Edicts are not just for show!"

Leina nodded and relaxed slightly.

After discussing the Mars transformation and the Gemini Star Project for a while longer, Chu Yang returned to Earth. Leina, meanwhile, contacted Pan Zhen and began making arrangements at the Heavenly Dao Tower.

Pan Zhen flew into a rage when he learned of the matter. If they had not needed to urgently proceed with migration, he would have wanted to launch a war directly against the Dark Nebula.

It was worth noting that the Dark Nebula had not participated in the War Council, so it possessed no right to wage war. Once it launched a war against another civilization, it would be jointly attacked by all major civilizations.

But if another civilization declared war on the Dark Nebula, there would be no need to go through the Void Battlefield. Their armies could march straight to its doorstep!

Simply put, the Dark Nebula could only take beatings and could not start trouble.

Even in self-defense, it could not expand the battlefield beyond the Dark Nebula. Otherwise, it would likewise be considered a violation of the War Edicts.

Earth, City of the North Star.

Chu Yang looked at Su Xiaoli, who lay on the bed with a faint glow radiating from her body, his gaze burning hot.

Su Xiaoli was fusing her seventh gene sequence—the Angel Gene.

This was also the final gene sequence of the Deno Gene Chain. Once she fused the Angel Gene, the Deno Gene Chain would evolve into the Ultimate Gene!

After making arrangements for so long and preparing in so many ways, he was finally nearing the moment of reaping the harvest. Chu Yang could not help feeling expectant.

However, the process would take some time, and one crucial problem remained unresolved…

The upgrade technology for the Fourth Generation God Body!

Su Xiaoli was currently a Third Generation God Body. Limited by the lack of technical support, even if her gene chain evolved into the Ultimate Gene, she would be unable to unleash its full power.

Earth’s war with the demons was imminent. Once they won this battle, they would obtain the technology to upgrade to the Fourth Generation God Body.

At the same time, they needed to wait for the God River Gene Chain to evolve into the Ultimate Gene. Combining the two Ultimate Genes was Chu Yang’s ultimate goal.

Along with a universe-level computer—or rather, the product of combining multiple aspects… the Cosmic Engine!

At that point, Chu Yang’s strength would rise dramatically!

Setting aside his thoughts, Chu Yang gently closed the bedroom door and sat in the living room with his eyes closed, resting.

During this period, he had made numerous arrangements targeting various fronts, advancing step by step with caution.

Now, he only needed to wait for one of those arrangements to take effect first, and he would have something to gain.

Without realizing it, Chu Yang fell asleep.

When dawn was just beginning to break, Jarvis’s alert woke him. The long-awaited relaxation had restored his mental state to its peak.

What woke him was a connection request from Deno No. 3.

After establishing a call with Deno No. 3, Chu Yang said irritably, "Old Du, when are you going to fix that habit of yours of disturbing people’s dreams?"

Du Kao replied somewhat helplessly, "I’ve never heard of any god who needs to replenish sleep every day!"

Chu Yang curled his lip. "Speak! What is it?"

Du Kao’s tone turned more serious. "Tian Ren No. 7 has sent word. Yan wants to talk to you."

Chu Yang perked up. "Hua Ye is back?"

Du Kao answered, "That’s right! Hua Ye is leading the Heavenly Dregs army toward the Angel Nebula!"

"It has now been confirmed that Hua Ye has upgraded to a Fourth Generation God Body!"

"However, he will pass through the Chi Wu Star System on his way to the Angel Nebula. I suspect Yan wants to ask for your help."

Chu Yang smiled. "I understand. I’ll connect with Tian Ren No. 7."

Du Kao hesitated before asking tentatively, "You’re planning to get involved?"

Chu Yang said meaningfully, "Earth’s technology is backward. If we want to catch up with advanced civilizations, we need to find other ways."

"Hua Ye wants to revive the Heavenly Palace Order. That has nothing to do with me, but if the angels become my clients, then naturally, I’ll solve their problems after taking their money."

Du Kao fell silent for a moment before saying gloomily, "You really are a profiteer!"

Chu Yang shook his head with a laugh. "I think I’m more like a conscientious businessman who enjoys spreading warmth!"

Du Kao was speechless.

After cutting off the call, Chu Yang had Jarvis submit a connection request to Tian Ren No. 7. The other side connected almost instantly.

Clearly, Tian Ren No. 7 had been waiting for his message.

"I’m Chu Yang. I heard someone was looking for me?" Chu Yang’s tone was casual.

"I’m Yan, Mr. Chu Yang. I hope to discuss a deal with you."

Yan got straight to the point. She knew very well what Chu Yang was after, and she also knew that he would not help for nothing.

Chu Yang asked, "You want me to deal with Hua Ye?"

"Yes. Hua Ye already possesses an extremely profound foundation of dark energy, and his computing power exceeds Tian Ren No. 7’s. Now that he has upgraded to a Fourth Generation God Body, I have yet to fully take control of the Sacred Knowledge Vault. I’m no match for him."

Yan was very frank. Most ancient gods in the Known Universe possessed foundations of dark energy that later generations could hardly compare to.

In Chu Yang’s terms, it was cultivation!

However, most of their God Bodies were rather outdated. Once their God Bodies were upgraded, though, they would stand at the peak of combat power among those of the same bodily tier!

Yan was, after all, a rising star and had only just upgraded to a Fourth Generation God Body. Naturally, she was no match for Hua Ye.

What Yan truly feared was that Hua Ye likely possessed a Void Engine custom-built for him by Carl.

Unfortunately, the angels were currently overwhelmed by matters concerning the Shadow World. If Hua Ye attacked with the Heavenly Dregs, the Angel Nebula would face an unprecedented crisis.

"Tell me what terms you can offer!" Since Yan had been straightforward, Chu Yang could not be bothered to beat around the bush.

Yan answered without hesitation, "The upgrade technology for the Fourth Generation God Body!"

Chu Yang smiled. "You should know that Earth has already declared war on the demons. The spoils Morgana has offered are the upgrade technology for the Fourth Generation God Body."

"You think Earth will win?" Yan was somewhat surprised.

Chu Yang merely smiled noncommittally, but his stance was already clear.

After a moment of silence, Yan asked, "Then what do you want?"

As Chu Yang considered it, he said, "Compared to that, I’m more curious why you aren’t directly asking Ge Xiaolun for help."

Yan said softly, "He is no match for Hua Ye. He still cannot fight at my side!"

"I gave him a thousand years to grow. A thousand years from now, I believe he will become a male god capable of protecting me!"

"Tsk… I didn’t expect you to be a love brain too…" Chu Yang shook his head with a laugh.

"Love brain… what does that mean?" Yan was somewhat bewildered, because even the Sacred Knowledge Vault could not understand the term.

Chu Yang changed the subject. "Nothing. Let’s discuss the terms!"

"I can give you all the intelligence on Hua Ye and have Sun Wukong help the angels resist the Heavenly Dregs, but I will not directly kill Hua Ye."

"However, I will weaken him as much as possible!"

Yan was surprised once again. "Even you can’t kill him?"

Chu Yang continued as though she had not spoken. "First, let me tell you about Hua Ye. Aside from upgrading to a Fourth Generation God Body, Carl gave him a Black Hole Engine."

"I’m sure you understand very well what a Black Hole Engine signifies!"

"I don’t know whether Keisha of the past could have done it, but at the very least, aside from me, no one in the Known Universe can currently withstand the power of a black hole."

"Furthermore, Hua Ye has subdued the Triangular Body. That is also a force not to be underestimated."

The communication fell silent. Without even thinking, Chu Yang knew that Yan’s thoughts must be in turmoil right now.

At the same time, he guessed that He Xi was likely beside Yan, or that the two were in constant communication.

He Xi was the foremost scholar of the Angel Civilization. If even she could not solve the black hole problem, then the angels would be helpless against Hua Ye.

After a long while, Yan said softly, "You mean… you can deal with the Black Hole Engine?"

Chu Yang said confidently, "I can make Hua Ye lose the Black Hole Engine, and I can deal with the Triangular Body as well."

"That way, all you will need to face is Hua Ye, a Fourth Generation God Body, along with those Heavenly Dregs."

"With Sun Wukong’s help, at the very least, you will be able to remain undefeated."

"And the terms?" Yan pressed.

"I need the core technology of the Sacred Knowledge Vault. Once this is over, I also want the Celestial King to remain in regular contact with me and provide me with some technical support." Chu Yang was direct.

"That’s impossible!" Yan refused without a moment’s thought. "The Sacred Knowledge Vault is the angels’ greatest technological achievement. Do you think that, as the King of Angels, I would simply hand it over?"

Chu Yang said flatly, "If I don’t intervene, the only way for you to resolve the black hole threat will be to send the Celestial King to her death!"

"You can weigh the importance of that yourself."

"Or you can think about it this way: if Keisha were the one negotiating with me right now, what choice would she make?"

Tian Ren No. 7, upon the throne.

Yan’s brows were tightly furrowed, while He Xi, standing beside her, looked completely relaxed.

After blocking the communication, Yan turned and asked, "Celestial King, what do you think I should choose?"

He Xi shrugged. "According to what Chu Yang said, if it were Queen Keisha, she would definitely choose to cooperate with him."

"The Sacred Knowledge Vault’s greatest value does not lie in its core technology, but in the data it contains."

"I suspect Chu Yang wants to construct a Celestial Computer no less capable than the Big Clock, perhaps even a super engine!"

"If we agree, this will not merely be a transaction. It will also be a favor."

"A favor from Chu Yang, the Supreme God, is worth that price!"

Ever since the War Council was established, the major civilizations had tacitly recognized Chu Yang as the Supreme God of the Known Universe!

Not even Keisha in her prime had possessed such status!

Keisha had been the King of Gods. No one questioned that, because she possessed absolute strength.

But Chu Yang was a being who truly stood above all gods!
