#303

I Am a Super Saiyan

Xandar.

The Annihilation Swarm fleet bore down on the planet.

The Annihilator led his personal guard to personally conquer this defiant cosmic civilization.

When the Annihilation Swarm descended, the Three Great Cosmic Civilizations were the first to become targets. As expected, their conquest went very smoothly.

The disparity in technological advancement between the two sides was simply too great.

However, among the civilizations in the second tier, some refused to surrender.

One of them was Xandar, the most inclusive of them all.

Of course, Xandar’s greatest reliance was the Nova Corps. Its ability to wage external wars was lacking, but it possessed considerable strength when defending its own planet.

This was because, at a critical moment, Queen of Xandar could sacrifice herself and become the will of the world, granting the Nova Corps formidable power.

The last time Allen visited, matters had not escalated into close combat, so Queen of Xandar had not needed to use her trump card.

But now, the threat of destruction was right before them.

Queen of Xandar stood ready at any moment to enter the planet’s core and make her sacrifice.

Nova Corps fighters formed a defensive barrier, staring solemnly at the Annihilation Swarm forces.

"Grant them annihilation."

The Annihilator gave the order.

The interstellar fleet officially launched its assault.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Wave after wave of artillery fire tore gaps in the defensive barrier, and large numbers of fighters swiftly took off to fill them.

"Your Majesty, perhaps we should surrender," an official suggested worriedly.

As they watched the unstoppable enemy, fear rose in many hearts.

Even the Three Great Cosmic Empires had been defeated. What right did a second-tier civilization like Xandar have to resist the Annihilation Swarm?

"Arrest him."

Queen of Xandar gave the guards a look, and the official who had made the suggestion was escorted out of the palace.

At once, no one else dared offer advice, fearing they would meet the same fate.

"Whether we surrender or not, it will not change their attitude. Why not fight with everything we have?" Queen of Xandar said majestically.

Those words were indeed the cruel truth.

The Annihilation Swarm had given them time to surrender. Once that window had passed, only destruction awaited them.

Therefore, surrendering now was no different from courting death.

"Your Majesty, something is happening."

In the live projection, a figure suddenly charged into the Annihilation Swarm formation.

"It’s him!"

Queen of Xandar recognized the newcomer at once.

It was none other than Allen, the Yellow Lantern who had come to freeload food and drinks not long ago.

However, he had changed into a set of Divine Armor and was swinging a hammer that unleashed violent lightning.

At that moment, on the space battlefield.

Allen gripped Mjolnir as he weaved through the enemy ranks. The lightning surrounding him was enough to kill Annihilation Swarm soldiers, while even starships were pierced straight through their hulls.

Empowered by divinity, he had mastered the Power of Thor.

Ordinary starships were no match for Allen and exploded at a single blow.

The Annihilator narrowed his eyes, seemingly intrigued by him.

"Slaughterer, capture him alive and bring him back for research."

Clearly, if they could thoroughly study the Power of Thor and apply it to the Swarm itself, they would surely be able to cultivate a terrifying army.

"As you command, Your Majesty."

The three-meter-tall Slaughterer was one of the kings among the Annihilation Swarm.

Not only did he possess powerful physical abilities, but also extreme speed and claws capable of slicing through space.

He pressed a button on his armor and instantly appeared before Allen.

"Who are you, to dare offend my race?" the Slaughterer demanded from above.

With a clap of thunder.

Lightning tore through the void.

"I am Thor, for the glory of the God of the North."

"…"

The Slaughterer stared quietly at Allen, wearing a thoroughly baffled expression.

"Haven’t you watched One Hundred Thousand Cold Jokes?"

"No."

Faced with Allen’s question, the Slaughterer cooperatively answered.

Allen sighed theatrically. "We need to give Chinese animation time to rise. It hasn’t even spread to other worlds yet."

"I’ll cripple you first."

The Slaughterer had no interest in wasting words on meaningless chatter and vanished as he launched the first attack.

His slender body was covered in segments of exoskeleton, with metallic gleams at the joints. Four scythe-like tentacles extended from his back, black as if they could absorb every source of light, capable of tearing apart anything.

Bang!

Before he could react, Allen was sent flying into the wreckage of a starship.

If not for the power of divinity protecting him, his body would probably have been snapped in two by now.

"Hiss… my back."

Allen grimaced in pain, looking exactly like Spider-Man in the Maguire version after he hurt his back.

"A weakling who cannot withstand a single blow," the Slaughterer said disdainfully.

At the very least, he could crush his opponent in speed, which meant he stood invincible.

"Boss!"

"Who?"

Allen looked behind the Slaughterer and shouted excitedly. The other party instinctively turned around to look.

Boom…

He saw no one, but lightning born from the void struck precisely around the Slaughterer.

The terrifying lightning illuminated the area as brightly as day.

"Oh yeah, nailed it."

Having successfully launched a sneak attack, Allen could not help making a celebratory gesture.

As the lightning faded, Allen could no longer celebrate. His expression froze as he stared blankly at the completely unharmed Slaughterer. The guy was merely smoking all over, without having suffered any real damage.

Allen looked suspiciously at Mjolnir, unable to stop himself from wondering whether the borrowed item was counterfeit.

Bang!

Allen was sent flying again like a kite with its string cut.

Mjolnir granted him the power of lightning, but unfortunately, his physical constitution could not compare to that of an Asgardian god.

Even with a physique sixty times stronger than an ordinary human, he was still far inferior to Thor.

Meanwhile, the Slaughterer was shocked by his opponent’s defense. His claws, which he took such pride in and which were said to cut through space, could not break through the armor on his target.

However, the shock damage from each successive attack was indeed incredibly painful.

"Ow, that hurts."

"My breakup didn’t hurt this much."

"Hurts, hurts, hurts… It feels like my wife cheated on me."

"Hurts, hurts, hurts… It feels like my wife cheated on me, then I found out the kid wasn’t mine."

"…"

Even while being beaten, Allen did not forget to describe the degree of his pain.

Growing tired of listening, the Slaughterer struck even harder.

Bang…

Allen crashed into a field of starship wreckage, showing no sign of getting back up for a long time.

"Finally behaving himself."

The Slaughterer flashed closer, preparing to dig Allen out of the wreckage and bring him back to the command ship to report to the Annihilator.

"Yo-ho… I’m over here."

He suddenly turned around.

The Slaughterer saw Allen standing somewhere else, though he had no idea when he had gotten there.

He had clearly seen Allen get blasted into the wreckage right in front of him.

Naturally, Allen had secretly relocated, deliberately creating an atmosphere of surprise.

"Have you noticed that I’m different now?"

Allen flicked his crimson hair, his eyebrows dancing smugly.

"Your black hair turned red. Does that have any special meaning?" the Slaughterer casually asked.

"I won’t pretend anymore. I’m laying my cards on the table."

Allen flamboyantly introduced his new identity. "I’m a Super Saiyan. I’m currently in my fourth transformation. So, are you scared or not?"

"…"

Of course he was not scared.

The Slaughterer could not sense much change at all. The only difference was that Allen seemed even more unhinged than before.

"Looks like you’re scared. You’re already too speechless to talk."

Bang!

Before Allen could finish showing off, he was sent flying once again.
