I, Izayoi Sakamaki, Joined the Chat Group at the Start Chapter 253

But if this confidant was truly too reckless with his life,

then Izayoi Sakamaki would not mind personally sending him on his way.

Aizen Sōsuke slowly rose to his feet.

A red mark visibly appeared on the still-handsome half of his face, then gradually swelled.

Izayoi Sakamaki could even see a lingering smile on the uninjured half of his face.

He could not help rubbing his temples as he said with a headache, "So, what was your reason for doing this?"

"And how can you still be smiling…?"

Aizen Sōsuke really wanted to say that of course he could.

He had made so many attempts that could be called suicidal precisely because he wanted to see Izayoi Sakamaki’s limits.

When would his emotions truly waver?

Now, Aizen had seen it.

He had repeatedly trampled back and forth across Izayoi Sakamaki’s line of patience with his words.

He believed that if not for the rule Izayoi Sakamaki had set himself—"Chat Group members must not harm one another"—

Aizen Sōsuke, this Shinigami on the verge of doing something big, would have vanished from this world today.

Though he did not know there was such an option as "kicking someone out of the group chat,"

that did not stop Aizen and Izayoi Sakamaki’s thoughts from synchronizing in an instant.

It was just that Aizen Sōsuke knew he could not keep courting death now.

If he continued plucking at Izayoi Sakamaki’s heartstrings, he had no idea what might happen next.

So Aizen Sōsuke answered very honestly.

"I would very much like to know what exactly happened over there."

"And I would also like to know why the events there made you look so unhappy."

"I wish to ease your worries and solve your troubles."

Izayoi Sakamaki could not even be bothered to roll his eyes.

This guy switched seamlessly between "making people like him" and "making people want to punch him," bouncing back and forth without pause.

Even Izayoi Sakamaki could not say for certain

whether that blow just now was something he had long wanted to do.

Izayoi Sakamaki glanced in that direction.

Then he turned back to look at the little Hound of Tindalos sitting obliviously beneath the tree.

Aizen Sōsuke looked over as well, and for once, he could not understand.

Why had Izayoi Sakamaki suddenly looked toward Chloe’s little one?

After a moment of silence,

Izayoi Sakamaki finally spoke in a low voice.

"From that direction, I can sense Tokisaki Kurumi and Akemi Homura."

"Intermingled with their auras is a Hound of Tindalos."

"I have not gone to look specifically, but I am almost certain."

"The one they encountered… is Chloe’s mother."

"Anna, the Hound of Tindalos who was torn to pieces by the Ishtar people."

Chapter 454: Phoenix Tail Feather

Since some unknown time, a voice had always appeared in Izayoi Sakamaki’s dreams.

It was as though someone was whispering to him.

"You cannot withstand the storm brought by fate."

"You cannot withstand the hardships and turmoil of the future."

"You cannot withstand the loneliness of walking alone."

"You will always be…"

—Whenever that happened, Izayoi Sakamaki would instantly wake up.

It was a voice he had never heard before.

Yet logically speaking, it was impossible for someone to dream of a voice they had never heard.

Izayoi Sakamaki had no memory of it at all.

So he often wondered why this was happening.

He had originally thought it was merely his own delusion.

But unexpectedly, today,

in this Spacetime he had never visited before,

he heard similar words from the Hounds of Tindalos once again.

What exactly was fate?

Facing Aizen Sōsuke’s probing gaze, Izayoi Sakamaki sighed softly before answering.

"I do not know why, either."

"It is just that when fate is mentioned, I feel very unhappy."

Aizen Sōsuke asked tentatively, "Is it because it cannot be changed?"

Izayoi Sakamaki answered coldly, "Because he is too noisy!"

Aizen Sōsuke touched his nose.

He did not know whether Izayoi Sakamaki was using this to indirectly insult him.

But clearly, he was in a terrible mood right now.

Having satisfied his curiosity, Aizen understood that some matters could not be pursued to the bitter end.

So he said with a light smile, "Then shall we go take a look?"

Izayoi Sakamaki raised a brow and glanced at him.

This guy was giving up such an easy chance to get to the bottom of things?

Izayoi Sakamaki always felt that the smile on his face was clearly ill-intentioned.

But it did not matter.

Izayoi Sakamaki checked the group.

Those two girls in the group were already calling for Tsunade in particular anxiety.

She was the Chat Group’s foremost healer.

With her there, at least Anna would not die on the spot from excessive blood loss.

Who knew what kind of stimulant Tokisaki Kurumi had taken.

She had actually hit that hard.

Izayoi Sakamaki was inclined to believe the little girl thought she could not defeat her opponent.

Not only had she used her full strength, she might even have used some little item she had bought from the Chat Group at some point.

Izayoi Sakamaki simply could not understand it.

Tokisaki Kurumi, Tatsumaki, even Akemi Homura, who had only recently joined the group—

how did these little girls display such insane shopping urges at such young ages?

Was this something women were born with?

Izayoi Sakamaki could not figure it out no matter how much he thought about it.

They had been calling out in the group for ages, but Tsunade had not replied.

It was as if she was no longer in the group.

Izayoi Sakamaki found that a little strange as well.

Actually, there had been signs that something was off with Tsunade earlier.

After the people in the group learned Anna and Chloe’s story, the men in the group had been fine.

The women had nearly been devastated with grief.

Yet Tsunade alone had been extremely calm. Even after appearing, she had only said a few words, her tone utterly flat.

That was beyond Izayoi Sakamaki’s expectations.

After all, Tsunade was a broad-hearted woman.

Under normal circumstances, whenever her maternal instincts overflowed, she was far more affected than the other girls.

So why was she so quiet at a time like this?

After remaining silent for a long while, Izayoi Sakamaki suddenly said in the group, "Let Anna go."

Tokisaki Kurumi: "Darling, what are you saying?"

Izayoi Sakamaki could actually sense the chill and anger in Tokisaki Kurumi’s tone.

…Please send flowers…

He sighed and sent Tokisaki Kurumi a Red Packet.

Ding. Group Administrator Izayoi Sakamaki has sent Group Member Tokisaki Kurumi an exclusive Red Packet.
Do you wish to accept?

The group fell silent for an instant before erupting into an uproar.

"What is that?"

"A Red Packet?"

"What is inside it?"

"Why can’t we claim it?"

"Are you stupid? Don’t you know what an exclusive Red Packet is? It belongs to one person only!"

"Ah, Big Shot Izayoi, I want a Red Packet just for me too!"

"Me too!"

"Same here!"

"Me as well!"

Izayoi Sakamaki’s head hurt so much that he wanted to mute everyone.

Sure enough, the essence of humanity was repetition.

He said in the group, "Stop fooling around. If Kurumi did not truly need this thing, I would never have given it to her."

Tatsumaki: "Oh? What could possibly be so precious that even you had to think it over carefully?"
