Immortal Body Fang Yu vs. the Atlantis Team Captain

Stephen Fang was immersed in his mad idea of fusing the Extremis Virus with Earth Grudge Fear. The surroundings were silent, with only sparks from clashing thoughts flickering in his mind.

Suddenly, the phone in his pocket buzzed violently, its piercing ringtone instantly shattering the peace.

He pulled out his phone and saw an incoming call labeled "Foot-Washing Water," then hurriedly swiped to answer.

"Hey, Natasha! How’s it going? Did you find her?"

Black Widow’s voice came through the phone, crisp and efficient. "Found her! Near Westport in Tennessee."

Stephen Fang nodded slightly. "Good. I’ll be there soon."

Black Widow froze when she heard that. "Wait! Aren’t you in London?"

Stephen Fang curled his lips into a smile, deliberately keeping her in suspense. After a pause, he said, "Natasha, check the surveillance footage at Times Square."

Though Black Widow was full of doubts, she did as he said.

When she saw Stephen Fang standing atop the enormous billboard in Times Square, she couldn’t help but gasp!

"H-How did you do that?! S.H.I.E.L.D. has studied the Cosmic Cube for so long and still hasn’t mastered teleportation, yet you—"

Stephen Fang smiled. "There’s an old saying: after three days apart, you should look at your ex-boyfriend with new eyes."

As he spoke, he jumped straight down from the billboard. The surrounding crowd saw the man who had suddenly appeared and all recoiled in fright!

"H-He’s the one! The one who fought the aliens! That Asian kid!"

"What Asian kid?! He’s the Chinese Hero!"

Being surrounded by a crowd welcoming him like a hero made Stephen Fang feel a little lightheaded.

He thought,

No wonder Homelander doesn’t care about anything else. This is what he cares about.

This feeling really is addictive!

"Alright, everyone. I’m off to save the world."

"Go! Go, hero! The world is counting on you!"

"That’s right! Kill those aliens! My car got blown up before I even finished paying off my bank loan, sob sob sob!"

Using the Flying Thunder God to leave the crowd, Stephen Fang’s expression turned solemn.

Saving Pepper Potts was urgent. Time was running out, and a bold yet infinitely promising idea echoed through his mind.

"Only this plan can save every second," Stephen Fang murmured softly, his voice instantly swallowed by the street’s noise.

In an instant, magic power surged from his body. He first awakened Asgardian Magic’s ancient and mysterious power, his hands moving rapidly through the air, intertwining and weaving together as they traced ancient runes.

At the same time, the Flying Thunder God mark resonated with the radiance of Asgardian Magic. Within moments, a Flying Thunder God coordinate was successfully planted near Tennessee!

"Flying Thunder God!"

When he opened his eyes again, he was already at a Tennessee harbor.

The biting wind carried snowflakes. Stephen Fang looked into the distance and spread his Observation Haki, instantly locking onto Pepper Potts’s location!

Dr. Killian swirled his glass of red wine and wore a villain’s signature smile.

Pepper Potts was bound to a Titanium Alloy operating table, orange-red light veins flickering beneath her skin.

"Do you know what’s most ironic?"

Killian’s fingertip traced the newborn tissue around Pepper Potts’s collarbone. "Quite a few people begged me to genetically modify them, and I ignored every one of them. Yet here I am, using it on someone who refuses to cooperate."

"Tell me, isn’t that ironic?"

A glass vessel suddenly exploded. The high-temperature steam spilling from Pepper Potts’s body condensed into droplets against the Protective Shield. Killian admired the genetic chain models flashing across the data screen. "Look. Your cells are rewriting God’s design. Even God has never seen genes like yours."

"Tony will… will—"

Pepper Potts’s threat was cut off by the burning pain wracking her body.

"Will what?" Killian poured red wine over her burned left arm. The boiling wine and regenerating tissue hissed together. "When he finds that the woman he loves has become a walking bomb, will he still want to get intimate with you?"

Pepper Potts’s body suddenly trembled. Killian leaned closer. "Don’t be afraid. This is merely the prelude to your body’s energy overload. Once Stark sees you melt through Stark Industries’ building, he’ll understand—"

He moved close to Pepper Potts’s ear, cigar ash drifting onto her trembling eyelashes. "Humanity’s greatest evolution often begins with destruction."

Killian had barely shown off for three seconds when, with a bang, the tightly shut door was kicked open by an enormous force!

Stephen Fang stood tall in the doorway, radiating righteous energy!

When you were in the right, your voice naturally rose three pitches higher. And now that he had the moral high ground, it was practically like having nuclear weapons!

Stephen Fang’s gaze shot straight toward Killian as he said coldly, "A villain’s stupidest mistake is talking too much."

As soon as the words fell, Stephen Fang flicked his wrist. A flash of cold light streaked forth as a kunai shot directly at Killian!

Killian’s pupils constricted sharply, surprise flashing across his face before it was replaced by a strange smile filled with madness and disdain.

He did not dodge. He simply stood there and allowed the kunai to pierce his body.

Blood instantly stained his shirt red, but he seemed unable to feel any pain.

However, Stephen Fang had apparently expected this all along. From beginning to end, his gaze had never lingered on Killian for long.

The moment the kunai struck Killian, his figure vanished from the spot like a wisp of green smoke.

The next second, Stephen Fang appeared beside Pepper Potts! He placed his hand steadily on her body. As the Flying Thunder God Technique activated, space twisted, and Pepper Potts vanished in an instant!

Killian’s eyes widened as he stared at the now-empty operating table where Pepper Potts had been. The smile on his face froze, replaced by extreme shock and fury.

As a madman who believed only in science, he had never witnessed such an inconceivable power. Magic and ninjutsu had seemed like legends from movies to him, yet they had just occurred right before his eyes.

"Where is my great work?!" Killian roared, his voice sharp and grating with fury as it echoed through the empty room.

Stephen Fang then flashed away to put some distance between them, smiling as he explained, "She went ahead to join the happy reunion at the end of the movie. As for you… it’s curtain call. Time for the credits."

Hearing Stephen Fang’s words, Killian glared furiously, his chest heaving as he roared at the top of his lungs, "You bastard! You’ll pay for what you’ve done!"

Stephen Fang’s lips lifted slightly, his eyes full of provocation. "White people are so boring when they curse."

With that, he took a deep breath, rapidly formed Hand Seals, and shouted, "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

Killian was startled by the sudden attack, but he quickly calmed down.

The Extremis Virus within him began operating frantically, the orange-red veins beneath his skin flashing even more intensely.

Flames enveloped his body, and he let out a pained scream. Yet only a few seconds later, the flames on his body were extinguished by a powerful force, and his wounds began healing at a visible rate.

"Hmph, interesting."

Stephen Fang muttered, a spark of excitement flashing in his eyes.

The stronger Killian’s regenerative ability was, the happier he became!

"Come on! If you’ve got the guts, fight me outside!"

Killian had already fallen into madness. He no longer cared about anything else and charged at Stephen Fang, who smiled and threw a punch at the wall!

Rumble—

The wall collapsed!

Granted, the Extremis Virus could enhance strength as well, but Stephen Fang’s ability to punch a large hole through a wall so effortlessly still surprised Killian.

Even so, he pursued him.

In his eyes, regenerative ability surpassed all other power!

Stephen Fang had already been waiting outside. As he completed forty-four Hand Seals, he shouted, "Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

A ferocious water dragon bared its fangs and claws as it lunged toward Killian!

Killian was struck by the water dragon and sent flying hard into a wall.

His body was distorted by the water dragon’s impact, and he spat out mouthful after mouthful of blood.

Yet the Extremis Virus acted once more. His body rapidly recovered, and he climbed back to his feet, madness and fury filling his eyes.

"It’s not over yet!" Stephen Fang shouted. Lightning Release: Earth Grudge Fear emerged from his shoulder and spewed lightning. "Lightning Release: False Darkness!"

The lightning struck Killian’s body, instantly enveloping him in electricity. His hair stood on end, his skin was scorched, and a pungent burning smell filled the air as his body shook violently.

However, the Extremis Virus continued to resist stubbornly.

Though Killian’s body suffered severe damage beneath the lightning attack, his cells continued regenerating and repairing themselves.

After a while, he slowly stood up again. Though his body was still trembling slightly, a trace of crazed confidence appeared in his eyes.

"Good, good, good!" Stephen Fang looked at Killian, admiration in his eyes, though an even stronger desire for battle filled them.

"But this is still far from enough!" As he spoke, he assumed the starting stance for the Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Hand Kill.

"Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Hand Kill!"

A Guanyin Phantom slowly appeared in midair, solemn and dignified yet carrying the might to destroy heaven and earth!

The instant the Guanyin Phantom appeared, Killian’s world collapsed!

If he had known faith could reach such a level, why the hell had he studied math, physics, and chemistry?!

Beneath that compassionate face, a thousand arms moved like a thousand agile flood dragons, cutting sharp arcs through the air as they smashed rapidly toward Killian with overwhelming force.

Every swing of an arm brought a sharp howl. The air was instantly torn apart, producing hissing sounds as though even space could not endure such immense power.

Killian looked up at the thousand hands blotting out the sky. The madness and confidence in his eyes were replaced by fear at that moment.

He tried to dodge, desperately moving his legs.

However, before this absolute power, his struggles were so insignificant and futile.

The thousand hands fell like a torrential downpour, pounding heavily against his body.

The first punch shattered his shoulder blade, the crisp crack of broken bone especially piercing amid the ruins.

The second punch struck his chest, instantly caving in his sternum. His heart endured tremendous pressure and nearly stopped beating.

The third punch landed on his thigh, twisting and deforming muscle and bone beneath the powerful impact!

More than a hundred punches poured down like a violent storm, and Killian’s body gradually lost its human shape under the savage assault.

He was smashed deep into the ground, creating a massive crater.

At this point, he resembled a broken meat patty, a bloody blur where limbs and internal organs could no longer be distinguished.

His clothes had long since been soaked in blood and shredded into strips that hung from his mangled body.

His face had also been smashed beyond recognition. His eyes bulged outward, while his nose and mouth had been deformed. He could only force weak, agonized groans from his throat.

Yet shockingly, even after suffering such devastating blows, the Extremis Virus continued functioning stubbornly.

Orange-red light veins flickered indistinctly within Killian’s shattered body like dancing flames, attempting to reshape the ruined corpse.

His broken bones began to heal slowly. Bones crushed into fine powder gradually gathered and reassembled, while his pulverized muscles were also slowly repaired. New cells continually formed, replacing those that had been destroyed.

His formerly sunken chest slowly regained some shape. Though his heart was still beating weakly, it struggled to preserve signs of life under the Extremis Virus’s effects.

Stephen Fang stood at the edge of the crater, stunned as he watched the scene before him.

He knew that the Extremis Virus possessed formidable restorative capabilities, but he had never expected it to be this powerful.

To continue repairing its host’s body after such a horrifying attack was beyond his understanding.

"This Extremis Virus really lives up to its reputation. This is outrageous! It’s no weaker than Wolverine at his current stage, right?"

Killian looked up at Stephen Fang’s surprised face, then burst into laughter. "You! You’re scared now, aren’t you?! Now you know… now you know the power of science! Hahahaha!"

"Then let me show you what theology is. You brought this on yourself, you know~"

As soon as he finished speaking, Stephen Fang closed his eyes and opened them again.

The features of Sage Mode suddenly appeared on his face. Strange patterns emerged across his skin, and senjutsu energy surged around him like a volcano on the verge of eruption!

Bolstered by senjutsu energy, the Guanyin Phantom abruptly grew several times larger. Already imposing, it now resembled an ancient deity descended upon the mortal world, radiating a terrifying pressure!

Every inch of the phantom’s skin seemed to flow with Immortal Power, while a faint golden halo surrounded its body, making it appear even more sacred and inviolable.

Stephen Fang stared at Killian, who was still struggling in the crater with the aid of the Extremis Virus. His eyes held determination and resolve.

He slowly raised an arm. Though it seemed like a simple movement, it was as if it had stirred the power of heaven and earth itself.

The surrounding air began to vibrate violently. The wind howled, and sand and stones were swept into the air by the powerful air current, scattering across the sky.

At that moment, Stephen Fang had become the master of this land and sky. Everything was within his control.

"Sage Art: Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Hand Kill!"

A roar that resounded through heaven and earth erupted from Stephen Fang’s mouth!

With that roar, the Guanyin Phantom’s thousand arms instantly transformed into streaks of light and smashed toward Killian at unbelievable speed! The power within each arm was enough to move mountains and fill seas. Its might was simply unimaginable!

Killian watched the arms blocking out the heavens and the sun, the smile on his face instantly freezing as endless terror replaced it.

Before this immense power, even the Extremis Virus seemed insignificant.

Though it operated madly, trying to repair Killian’s body and give him strength, it was all futile.

The arms slammed heavily into Killian. In that instant, it was as though an atomic bomb had exploded within the crater!

The tremendous impact instantly tore Killian’s body apart. Bones, muscles, organs—everything was turned into fine powder beneath that force!

Killian did not even have time to let out a scream before he was reduced to ashes by the terrifying attack!

Where he had originally stood, only a pool of boiling sludge remained, giving off a pungent odor as it slowly flowed along the bottom of the crater.

The sludge seemed to be the only proof that he had ever existed, yet it also told of how small and fragile he had been before such powerful senjutsu.

No matter how formidable the Extremis Virus was, it was ultimately powerless against such a world-destroying attack.

Its powerful regenerative ability had completely failed before the absolute force of Sage Art: Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Hand Kill.

The entire battlefield fell into dead silence, with only Stephen Fang’s figure standing at the crater’s edge.

Stephen Fang shrugged and slowly lowered his arm, while the Guanyin Phantom gradually faded away.

He looked at the pool of sludge on the ground and breathed lightly. "The effects of injecting the Extremis Virus into a human body really do have limits," he muttered. "Earth Grudge Fear’s physical constitution is already incredibly strong to begin with."

"Good! Let’s give it a try!"

Filled with anticipation for the fusion experiment between the Extremis Virus and Earth Grudge Fear, Stephen Fang hurried back to the laboratory with the large hole in its wall.

He stopped impatiently and forced Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear out from within his body.

As soon as Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear appeared, it looked around blankly, apparently unaware of what was about to happen.

Stephen Fang’s gaze swept toward the Extremis Virus that Killian had not finished injecting into Pepper Potts. He licked his lips, picked up the container, and without hesitation injected the Extremis Virus into Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear’s body!

In an instant, Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear’s originally black veins seemed to ignite, rapidly turning crimson red. It was as though blazing magma was rushing through its veins, emitting a scorching glow that inspired fear!

The temperature throughout the entire laboratory seemed to rise sharply because of this bizarre change, and the needles on the instruments began to swing wildly!

Seeing this, Stephen Fang did not hesitate in the slightest. He took Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear outside, his aura rising as he unleashed the incomparably powerful Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Hand Kill!

Smack!

This punch carried overwhelming force, tearing through the air with a sharp howl as it smashed toward Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear!

Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear had no time to react at all. It was struck by the punch, its body instantly blasted into pieces, with parts of it dispersing into the air.

However! An astonishing scene occurred!

The portions of its body that had been blasted away were swiftly restored as black threads spread and intertwined, filling them in at a visible rate. One second later, it was as though it had never suffered such a fierce attack.

Stephen Fang’s heart stirred. "Earth Grudge Fear’s weakness is its masks."

He gathered his strength again and slammed a fist at Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear’s mask!

With a deafening bang, the mask shattered instantly. Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear lost its support and fell straight to the ground like a kite with its string cut, lying motionless.

Just like when it encountered Kakashi in the original story, it had entered a death state.

Yet Stephen Fang was not discouraged. Instead, he stared intently at Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear on the ground, excitement gleaming in his eyes.

Sure enough, before long, the shattered mask began slowly healing in a bizarre fashion!

The cracks gradually vanished. Then Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear suddenly sprang up from the ground, once again full of life!

Stephen Fang’s eyes widened. "As long as Earth Grudge Fear takes turns dying for me, with their Extremis Virus regeneration ability, wouldn’t that make me immortal too?"

At the same time, Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear, which was guarding Zhao Yingkong, began changing. Zhao Yingkong hurriedly took out her communicator and called Main God Fang Yu. "Your water monster seems to be having a problem!"

The next second, Fang Yu appeared in the underground passage.

Looking at the changes in Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear, he found them strange as well.

Suddenly, he stared at Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear’s red blood vessels as if he had thought of something, then walked over and punched it!

As a result, Water Release: Earth Grudge Fear visibly began recovering, sending Main God Fang Yu into a frenzy of delight!

"It worked! Marvel Fang Yu, nice job! Is this the Extremis Virus!? Well done!"

"Then why didn’t it synchronize to me?"

"I get it! You modified its genes, right? Were you afraid of causing trouble for me?"

"It’s fine. With the Extremis Virus’s ability, Earth Grudge Fear can let me revive endlessly."

"Good, good, good! I’ll go trade injuries for injuries right now!"

As he spoke, he called to Zhao Yingkong, "Stay hidden! I’m going to get revenge!"

Zhao Yingkong hurriedly stopped Fang Yu from forming a Hand Seal. "Don’t let anger control your mind! Be careful!"

"Don’t worry. In this life, the only thing that can control my mind is lust. Anger? It only makes me calmer."

With that, he activated Flying Thunder God.

The moment Fang Yu arrived at Emei Golden Summit, countless sharp gazes locked onto him!

Turning around, Fang Yu saw the faces of the Atlantis Team’s current captain, Torres, along with Ah Xing, Roger, and the others!

Torres flipped through the Bible with its black cover. "You damned bastard! You came again!"

Fang Yu grinned. "Didn’t expect that, did you? I’m just bored! So bored that I come check on what you’re doing every half hour. Looks like you’re slacking off, huh? Then I’ll muddy the waters for you!"

"Damage Amplification!"

"Divine Protection Barrier!"

"W-What!?"

Torres watched as his curse was blocked by a transparent barrier. Ah Xing hurriedly urged from the side, "Quick! Captain! Summon them!"

But Fang Yu gave Torres no time to prepare. He immediately pressed his palms together. "Let’s plant some grass on Bai Mei’s grave!"

"Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence!"

As Fang Yu unleashed Wood Release, the earth shook violently in an instant. Thick tree roots burst from the ground, piercing through the hard rock!

In the blink of an eye, those roots grew and spread rapidly, transforming into a dense forest that wrapped layer after layer around the entire peak of Mount Emei!

These trees were far from ordinary vegetation. Their bodies were dark green, radiating an eerie aura.

Every leaf glimmered with ghostly light as they madly absorbed the surrounding spiritual energy!

The more they absorbed, the more violently they grew. And the faster they grew, the faster they drew in spiritual energy.

For a time, the spiritual energy atop Emei Golden Summit became chaotic. Fierce winds howled, and amid them came the crackling sounds of trees growing.

At the horizon, a group of Mount Emei disciples flew over on swords.

At their head was Changkong Wuji, dressed in a Daoist robe, his expression grave.

Just as he drew the Heavenly Lightning Sword and prepared to deal with this sudden upheaval, his gaze was drawn to several black shadows moving swiftly through the forest.

Looking closely, he saw dozens of Skeleton Soldiers wielding curved blades! And Skeleton Mages holding staffs!

Ghostly green fire flickered in the eye sockets of those Skeleton Soldiers and Skeleton Mages. Every movement came with the crackling sound of bones colliding. They moved incredibly fast, as if their speed had been turned up a gear, darting through the dense woods in an especially sinister and terrifying sight.

Seeing this, Fang Yu could not help exclaiming, "Necromancer!?"

Torres’s voice came from within the forest. "There are a hundred thousand corpses in my spatial bag! I didn’t want Bai Mei to see them, but you came looking for death yourself, so I had no choice."

As he spoke, he swung the black Bible at Fang Yu. A pile of Bone Walls instantly appeared around Fang Yu, sealing off his retreat path. "Are you ready to be buried beneath an ocean of skeletons? Are you ready to go to hell?!"

Hearing this, Fang Yu laughed instead of getting angry.

"Your Diablo enhancement really has that childhood flavor. Too bad we’re not in the same genre."

With that, he entered Sage Mode.

"Yours is Diablo 2."

"Mine is Doom Slayer Doom."

Fang Yu’s aura surged wildly. As the Third Order Genetic Lock opened, Sage Mode Chakra began to boil!

"I’m about to tear through your hell."

"And slaughter my way through it!"
