Insectoid Mother Queen
Within the Divine Kingdom of Super String Space, inside a newly constructed large laboratory.
This was an enormous laboratory, incomparably empty. There was no experimental equipment within it; only a hundred-meter-tall giant egg stood at its center. Yes, this was the Insectoid Mother Queen Xiao Hen had captured in Prometheus World.
Xiao Hen held the newly exchanged Main Godhead in his hand, lost in thought. He had considered many possibilities for how to use this Main Godhead. This was the final Main Godhead, capable of creating a Main God-level existence—a terrifying powerhouse whose might could suppress an entire galaxy. He did not trust anyone else with it, whether clones, his two women, or even angels.
Although the angels were restrained by the Heart of the Angel and could not escape his control, a Main Godhead was different. It would create an existence on the same level as his Main God Avatar.
In the end, he needed a powerful force that could help him obtain the Infinity Gauntlet and the Infinity Stones. The Insectoid Mother Queen was one of the best choices.
He had considered other options, such as the Xenomorphs. Their growth rate was high, and they were not weak, but their numbers could never compare to those of the Insectoid Race.
He had observed the strength of the Insectoid Race before and had gained a fairly thorough understanding of this Insectoid Mother Queen’s power. What he intended to do next was exactly what lay before him.
He would give the Godhead to the Insectoid Mother Queen and let her fuse with it. Of course, fusion was not so simple. The most important thing was ensuring that she remained under his control. If he could not guarantee that, allowing the Mother Queen to fuse with the Main Godhead would simply be aiding an enemy.
"A person cannot fuse with or produce two Godheads at the same time…"
Xiao Hen muttered to himself. When he had fused with the Main Godhead, he had also stripped away the ordinary Godhead he had previously fused with. One reason was to free himself from the constraints of divine status; the other was precisely this reason. Thus, the Insectoid Mother Queen’s fusion with the Main Godhead faced a major problem—he could not develop her into something like an avatar.
"That creates a problem. I definitely cannot simply hand the Main Godhead to an Insectoid Mother Queen I cannot control. So the question is, how do I keep this Mother Queen under my control?"
No matter how much Xiao Hen’s true body pondered the matter, he could not think of a perfect solution. He could only leave the problem to his Main God Avatar. Faced with the same issue, his true body could not solve it, but his Main God Avatar could. There was no special reason for this—the Main God Avatar possessed the Main Godhead, and its logical thinking abilities were incomparably powerful. Its processing speed when considering problems was countless times faster than that of his true body.
In less than a day, the Main God Avatar came up with more than ten viable methods. In the end, Xiao Hen chose the most feasible one.
Even this most feasible method carried some risk and could not guarantee absolute safety. He felt somewhat vexed. Xiao Hen had always pursued perfection in everything he did, yet this matter required him to take risks. Just like acquiring the Infinity Stones, it meant risking conflict with Thanos and drawing the attention of the Five Elders.
"Of all things in this world, eight or nine out of ten will not go as one wishes. Perhaps a ninety percent chance of success is enough."
Xiao Hen let go of his inner hesitation and began tearing apart the divinity within his Main God Avatar, along with the origin of his true body’s soul. After separating them, he removed his own independent consciousness as well. Since two avatars could not both fuse with Main Godheads, this was the only option.
After those things were removed, what remained was a half-finished soul sharing Xiao Hen’s origin. He implanted this soul into the Insectoid Mother Queen and controlled everything through the Main God Avatar, reducing the risk of it being devoured by the Mother Queen’s initial consciousness.
Yes, the Insectoid Mother Queen possessed only instinct and a trace of initial consciousness, not an independent soul. Or rather, the entire Insectoid Race had no souls. The Insectoid combat units they produced were merely carbon-based combat units that could move and fight—powerful biological weapons.
The blank soul merged into the Insectoid Mother Queen with great ease. After all, the Main God Avatar had calculated everything, and all was under control.
The soul fusion took several days. With Divine Power assisting it, the process was completed smoothly.
The second step was the fusion of the Main Godhead.
With a light slap from Xiao Hen’s true body, the Main Godhead was sent into the Mother Queen’s body. Controlled by the Main God Avatar, it traveled to the core of her body. Although the blank soul had no independent abilities, after merging with the Mother Queen’s initial instinctive consciousness, it inherited her instincts. It could sense the immense might of the crystal that had suddenly entered its body, as well as the tremendous benefits fusion would bring. Like a cat that had smelled fish, it immediately began naturally merging with the Main Godhead.
Seeing this, Xiao Hen let out a sigh of relief and waited in the laboratory for the Mother Queen to fuse with the Main Godhead.
A full three days passed before the Insectoid Mother Queen finally completed the fusion. The hundred-meter-tall giant egg shrank again and again, eventually becoming a small, oval giant egg eight meters tall. At that moment, the egg began trembling, showing signs of movement. Xiao Hen understood that the Insectoid Mother Queen, having fused with the Main Godhead, was about to be born.
Crack, crack, crack…
A series of cracks appeared across the eggshell, one after another. Strands of green liquid flowed from the cracking Mother Queen egg. Finally, it collapsed with a crash, revealing a figure within.
It was the figure of a woman—a beautiful naked woman. Covered in green liquid, she slowly rose from the remnants of the giant egg. She had long black hair, fair skin, and a black, horny crystal-like object on her forehead.
"What is that?"
Xiao Hen’s expression shifted. From that black crystal, he sensed something familiar—the ability he had sensed before, an ability that blocked all detection.
"Mmm…"
The woman let out a soft moan and slowly opened her eyes. Her black eyes were as pure as those of a newborn infant. Well, she truly was a newborn infant, though her sixteen-meter-tall body made it hard for anyone to associate her with one.
Yet in truth, she was indeed an infant.
The woman looked around, and the first person she saw was Xiao Hen. Something stirred in her eyes. She opened her mouth, but no words came out. Like an infant, she did not yet know how to speak.
Seeing this, Xiao Hen directly connected to her mind with Divine Sense and conveyed his goodwill. He could sense from her mind that she possessed an innate affinity for him. Part of it came from the affinity between their souls, while another part was like that of an animal—an inexplicable closeness toward the first living being it saw upon being born.
And so, Xiao Hen taught this newly born Insectoid Mother Queen while deepening her bond with him. At the same time, he examined her current strength. After all, an existence that had fused with a Main Godhead would surely not be much weaker than his Main God Avatar.
This investigation indeed revealed some of her secrets.
