Instant Kill

Oka Hachiro watched countless demons and monsters swoop in from all directions at once. The sky before him turned black in an instant, and a foul, bloody stench assailed his nose.

Oka Hachiro suddenly felt his heart sink violently, an overwhelming sense of death winding around his mind.

Crack!

A powerful electric current surged up from behind him. Time seemed to slow to an extreme as Oka Hachiro slowly turned around and saw blue-white arcs of electricity flickering across the Reincarnation Star Person’s body.

The other party opened his mouth and inhaled. The air was sucked in so violently that white streams of airflow appeared, something no human lungs could possibly achieve.

This guy really was an alien.

At that moment, Oka Hachiro confirmed in his heart that the Reincarnation Star People were absolutely not human.

The horrifying scene from before Hanshin Koshien Stadium flashed before his eyes again. The black Reinforcement Suit on Oka Hachiro’s body was instantly activated by the fierce will to survive rising within him.

Crack.

Cracks spread across the stone pavement. Oka Hachiro did not hesitate for a moment. He turned and sprinted straight behind Mercenary Tao, his body nearly parallel to the ground.

"Ha!"

Although Bai Cangshu had previously considered sparing Oka Hachiro so he could use the opportunity to enter the Osaka Team’s Black Ball Space, that thought had never been strong enough for him to deliberately protect Oka Hachiro’s life.

In the end, ordinary people like these were simply too likely to die in the aftershocks of his attacks. Besides, there were too many Black Ball Team members, making Bai Cangshu feel that he could easily catch other members instead.

Under the effect of Current Propulsion, the powerful qi in his mouth transformed into a terrifying sonic boom that exploded with a thunderous crash.

Shockwaves, lightning, qi, and explosions like fuel-air bombs instantly swept out before him.

As Nurarihyon’s right-hand men, the two powerful Yokai Aliens, Inugami and Daitengu, flew at the very rear. Before them, densely packed yokai surged toward the enemy like a black tide.

But suddenly, an intense white light erupted alongside a terrifying roar.

Daitengu instantly folded both wings before himself to block it. Inugami’s flesh was more agile; it violently kicked off the outer wall of a shop along the side of the shopping street and shot backward like lightning.

Boom!

The shockwave, mixed with foul-smelling blood, blasted Daitengu away. Its two white wings snapped at once, feathers scattering as blood gushed forth.

Inugami, which had dodged backward, was swept up by that violent shockwave and turned into a black blur. It skimmed past Nurarihyon’s shoulder, smashed through a building with a bang, and vanished from sight.

The tide-like horde of yokai was instantly wiped out.

The area no longer held the horrifying tableau of a Night Parade of One Hundred Demons Ukiyo-e. All that remained were corpses strewn across the ground and severed limbs and organs splattered everywhere.

Nurarihyon slowly turned around, a rare trace of astonishment appearing on his face. One hand tightly gripped the purple jewel fragment. The yokai whose power had surged due to that jewel were now completely silent.

Only a dozen or so enormous yokai remained, bleeding and letting out weak wails.

Nurarihyon brushed the back of his head, tossing aside flesh and blood from who knew where. The explosively radiating gore left an enormous pattern across the walls on both sides of the shopping street and the stone pavement in the middle.

And the man who had caused all this was walking toward him with his hands clasped behind his back.

Daitengu lowered the muscular arms shielding its front, roared furiously, and tore off its already broken wings. The pain only spurred it further.

Daitengu threw its arms wide and charged at Bai Cangshu. Its red arms stabbed into the stone pavement, and the stone was ripped apart by its claws as though it were tofu. Dragging its right arm along, it rushed before Bai Cangshu and violently tore upward with that arm.

Stones shot forth like bullets, its claws aiming straight for the man’s throat.

Whoosh, bang!

The slender Inugami moved far faster than Daitengu. It rebounded several times off the outer walls on both sides of the shopping street and appeared behind Daitengu in an instant, then leaped high into the air.

Bang!

The red figure exploded into a sky full of mangled flesh.

A pitch-black fist hung before Inugami.

Inugami blinked once. At some point, its movements had already stopped. It turned its head and saw that Daitengu’s massive body behind it had been reduced to only half a torso standing on the ground.

It lowered its head and saw that its white priestly robe was covered in Daitengu’s blood and flesh.

Moo!

Inugami’s eyes instantly began to redden. Its body swelled as if it had gone berserk, and its fur began growing wildly.

In its fury, Inugami’s body stretched to over three meters long. It tore apart its own priestly robe, lowered its head, and bit straight for Bai Cangshu’s neck.

Bzzzt—

As though it had passed through an illusion, Inugami felt only the sharp pain of its upper and lower jaws slamming shut, with no sensation of having bitten anything at all.

Inugami immediately turned around, only to see that the unimaginably powerful human had already thrown a punch. Frost radiated from his fist.

Sky Frost Fist!

Bang!

Far faster than Inugami and far stronger than Daitengu, Bai Cangshu’s punch struck the giant dog’s body. Before the frost could completely freeze its body, the terrifying force of 47 Strength—effectively exceeding 70 under the conversion effect of Silver Wolf Under the Moon—had already poured into its body.

Moreover, the force was completely condensed into one point and did not disperse during the punch.

That was why no white airwave had exploded forth when Bai Cangshu threw his punch.

Pfft!

Inugami’s feet remained planted on the ground as its body slid uncontrollably backward. Oka Hachiro, who had luckily escaped behind Bai Cangshu earlier and avoided being killed by the World-Shaking Thunder Roar, dodged to the side.

The white giant dog slid for a hundred meters. After stopping, it no longer moved. With a light push from Oka Hachiro, it shattered like a pile of frozen meat.

Nurarihyon’s gaze slowly rose from his dead right-hand men and met the human standing less than a meter before him. There was no respect or fear for him whatsoever in those arrogant eyes.

"You are not human."

"What exactly are you?"

Bai Cangshu stood before Nurarihyon, looking down from above at this alien who considered himself a god—or rather, this world’s yokai.

He possessed the ability to continuously evolve and alter his form according to his opponent’s fighting style and abilities. At the same time, he had immense immortality and could revive endlessly.

Only attacks beyond his awareness could slow his recovery speed.

He suddenly bent down and stared into Nurarihyon’s eyes at close range. Nurarihyon’s pupils instantly contracted, a reaction to Bai Cangshu’s movement.

Bai Cangshu narrowed his eyes and smiled.

"Nurarihyon, I’m very curious. Faced with someone like me, what form will you take…?"

Nurarihyon’s gaze turned cold. This creature before him did not answer his question and merely talked to himself, clearly not taking him seriously.

That attitude had previously only ever appeared on himself.

Suddenly, pain flared in his forehead. A finger touched the center of his brow at a speed he had completely failed to see.

Only after Nurarihyon’s pupils shifted and focused did he realize how unimaginably fast the guy before him was.

Hummm—

Powerful qi erupted in an instant. Bai Cangshu suddenly felt the flesh before his fingertip split apart to either side as Nurarihyon’s body began to divide.

Bai Cangshu remained unmoved. The qi gathered at his fingertip became a Dodon Ray and shot straight out.

Sizzle!

The stench of flesh being scorched by qi filled the air. Bai Cangshu used his finger as a sword and sliced Nurarihyon diagonally apart.

Nurarihyon’s body split again along the line of the cut.

The next moment, four Nurarihyon appeared. But before the four Nurarihyon could steady themselves, Bai Cangshu had already leaped high into the air, his legs raining down like a violent storm.

Wind God Leg: Sudden Rainstorm!

Bang!

Nurarihyon exploded directly into a rain of blood.
