[ Killed Wind God Mount, EXP + 2,700,000 ]

[ Obtained Whirlwind Sword ]

[ Obtained Whirlwind Leather Armor ]

[ Obtained Whirlwind Fragment * 3 ]

[ Whirlwind Sword: Platinum-grade weapon, All Attributes + 1,000, Swordsman-class skill amplification 60%. ]

[ Whirlwind Leather Armor: Platinum-grade armor, All Attributes + 700, Wind-element damage reduction 20%. ]

It wasn't exactly great equipment, so Lin Moyu threw it into his storage ring just the same.

When the time came, he would sell it at the exchange; it probably wouldn't be worth much.

"Four Whirlwind Fragments per run; that's actually more than the [Water God Courtyard]."

"It's a pity the EXP is so low; a single run barely gives 2%…"

After reaching level 40, the EXP requirement for leveling up became massive.

A single run like this only granted about 1.5% EXP.

Lin Moyu decided to run it a few more times, collect a few Whirlwind Crystals, and then never come back.

The bells rang out in the Dungeon Hall.

Lin Moyu had upgraded the Dungeon and set a new record simultaneously.

3 hours, 42 minutes, 51 seconds.

It wasn't a very good record, but those who frequented the Dungeon Hall knew that Lin Moyu's first record didn't really count.

The second run was the real focus.

After exiting the Dungeon, Lin Moyu didn't linger and entered again.

This time, as soon as he entered the Dungeon, he locked onto the wind tunnel leading to the Sky Plains and charged straight ahead.

He began to enjoy the thrill of speed-running once more.

Now, his Agility attribute had reached a staggering 47,850—more than 20 times higher than when he was level 39.

Of course, his speed couldn't have increased that much, but it was still 3 or 4 times faster.

He ran incredibly fast, even faster than the Skeleton Mages.

He covered the 20-plus kilometer distance in just a little over two minutes.

On average, he could run 8 or 9 kilometers every minute.

He left the Wind Fairies along the way for his Skeletons to handle.

The monsters on the Whirlwind Plains were too scattered; fighting them was a waste of time and inefficient.

Passing through the wind tunnel, he entered the Sky Plains.

The Skeleton Berserkers rushed out, gathering all the Whirlwind Spirits along the way into one spot.

The Skeleton Archmages focused their fire; Elemental Explosion had area-of-effect capabilities.

Although the range was only 10 meters, each attack could hit two or three Whirlwind Spirits at once.

The 4,000 Skeleton Archmages used five volleys of focused fire to completely wipe out the hundreds of Whirlwind Spirits along the path.

As for the rest, Lin Moyu couldn't be bothered to kill them.

He took a step ahead, jumped onto the floating stone platform, and charged toward the palace.

Speed-running required the look of a speed-run.

Chapter 342: The Founding Battle Over 600 Years Ago

The bells in the Dungeon Hall rang long and loud; a new record had been born once again.

Someone had started timing from the moment Lin Moyu entered the Dungeon until the bells rang, ending the timer.

He shouted excitedly, "Heavens, 15 minutes! A new record, a real new record!"

"Heh, another record that no one can break. It'll last at least 100 years, if not forever."

"General Lin keeps creating one despair-inducing record after another. How are we supposed to live?"

"Look at it differently; one should say that General Lin has created one goal after another for future generations of humans to chase after."

"Exactly! Isn't our human race all about constantly surpassing our predecessors and growing stronger?"

The same issue, viewed from a different perspective, yielded a completely different outlook.

When the Dungeon record was fully displayed:

15 minutes and 33 seconds.

Compared to a Hell-difficulty Dungeon, this was an astonishing record.

The speed was just too fast; many felt that it would take them quite some time just to run through this Dungeon.

Lin Moyu appeared outside the Dungeon and entered it again.

He ran it time and time again, getting 4 Whirlwind Fragments each time.

His goal was to run it 5 times to obtain 20 Whirlwind Fragments, forming 4 Whirlwind Crystals.

Two of them would be fused into the elemental god stone, and the other two could be kept for backup.

In just one hour, Lin Moyu had run it four times.

The timing was very stable, basically just over 15 minutes each time.

There was one final run left, but this time, he didn't enter immediately.

He also looked up at his own record, pondering if there was a faster way to speed-run.

He didn't notice that the area around him was filled with people, all casting looks of admiration at him.

These people had a blind adoration for Lin Moyu.

Lin Moyu was lost in his own thoughts, and soon he thought of a method he might be able to try.

"Forget the EXP; purely pursuing speed—perhaps that's worth a try."

Running the Dungeon was no longer difficult, and this Dungeon didn't provide much EXP anyway.

If possible, Lin Moyu wanted to kill the Dungeon BOSS directly; as long as he harvested the Whirlwind Fragments, that was enough.

The idea of pursuing the absolute limit sprouted in his mind.

Resetting the time, he entered the Dungeon.

The Undead Legion appeared, and the timer started.

Lin Moyu decisively jumped onto the back of a Skeleton Warrior.

After having buffs applied, the Skeleton Warrior erupted with full speed, charging toward the wind tunnel without a care for anything else.

Along the way, it didn't dodge or avoid anything, nor did it fight monsters; it just charged forward.

The Wind Fairies chased the whole way, but they couldn't catch up to the Skeleton Warrior.

The Skeleton Warrior's speed was much faster than Lin Moyu's; it had covered 20 kilometers in just over a minute.

From afar, he saw the wind tunnel and the few monsters guarding the entrance.

Lin Moyu pointed a finger, Skill: Curse of Aging!

The Wind Fairies guarding the entrance immediately slowed down; they couldn't stop the Skeleton Warrior.

Just like that, the Skeleton Warrior, carrying Lin Moyu, rushed straight into the wind tunnel.

At this moment, exactly two minutes had passed since entering the Dungeon.

Stepping into the wind tunnel, they flew high all the way.

After flying for a full two minutes, they finally arrived at the Sky Plains.

The Skeleton Warrior didn't stop for a single step, sprinting the whole way.

A red light lit up, and the Curse of Aging shrouded the entire Sky Plains.

The speed of all the Whirlwind Spirits inside slowed down.

Immediately after, a ball of green light exploded, and Poison Star Explosion followed in quick succession.

After the second class advancement, Poison Star Ring and Bleed Curse had fused to become a new skill: Poison Star Explosion.

The range had increased to 100 meters, matching the Curse of Aging.

Both exploded at the same point, covering the exact same area.

Nearly a thousand monsters on the Sky Plains were poisoned simultaneously.

The originally cyan Sky Plains were dyed a layer of green; all the Whirlwind Spirits emitted a green glow.

They had to endure damage equivalent to 20,000 points of Strength per second, lasting for a full 5,000 seconds.

Lin Moyu knew they wouldn't last 5,000 seconds.

They probably wouldn't even last 100 seconds.

The Skeleton Warrior kept running fast, and the Whirlwind Spirits affected by the Curse couldn't catch up to it at all.

Just half a minute later, the Skeleton Warrior had already jumped onto the first floating stone platform.

It kept jumping while carrying Lin Moyu, and in the blink of an eye, it had arrived at the platform outside the palace.

Before the Whirlwind Tiger could react, the Undead Legion appeared in batches and attacked directly.

In the blink of an eye, the Whirlwind Tiger was dead.

Charging into the palace, passing through the corridors, and entering the final chamber of the Dungeon, he saw the Wind God Mount.

Not giving it a chance to wake up, the Skeletons had already moved like butchers.

The Wind God Mount, still in its sleep, 'slept' again.

At this moment, a massive amount of kill notifications appeared.

The Whirlwind Spirits on the Sky Plains that he had hit with Poison Star Explosion died one after another.

They indeed couldn't hold on, and they were wiped out completely.

The bells in the Dungeon Hall rang out once again.

But this time, the sound of the bells was different.

The sound was fast and urgent, sounding just like an alarm, ringing incessantly, dong-dong-dong.

It rang nearly a hundred times without any sign of stopping.

Everyone was stunned.

This kind of sound had never appeared before.

Some people had frequented the Dungeon Hall for many years and could be said to be very familiar with the Dungeon Hall's rules.

But they had never heard this kind of sound either.

"Could the Dungeon Hall's bell be broken?"

"Are you kidding? How could the Dungeon Hall's bell be broken? That's a Platinum-grade item; you'd break before it would."

"But what does this bell sound mean?"

"Bell sounds usually represent a new record; with it ringing so urgently this time, I reckon…"

"Keep making things up, go on!"

In the White God Courtyard, space twisted slightly, and Ning Tairan walked over quickly.

He saw Yan Kuangsheng at a glance.

Yan Kuangsheng was actually sitting with Bai Yiyuan, drinking tea.
