King of Curses Satoru Gojo Appears
Intense positive energy reverberated within Youying and Zhuzhao, rapidly healing their nearly shattered bodies.
Yet the enemy’s bizarre force and that special golden energy kept causing their cells to die, and the immense energy expenditure left them barely able to maintain human form.
Why the Dragon Clan transformed into human form, they had long forgotten. They only knew it had been so since ancient times.
Perhaps because of World Dragon Kurima, perhaps because of some golden dragon who had become an immortal patriarch, or perhaps because of the observation of some other existence.
But Youying and Zhuzhao did not actually like taking human form. This weak, greedy race had little merit beyond serving as subjects of their harmonizing faction.
Still, tales of heroes had always circulated within the Dragon Court. Humans were numerous and short-lived, so once in a great while, terrifyingly powerful individuals would emerge among them.
Youying and Zhuzhao suddenly froze at the same time. Their minds were linked, yet both were now suffering scattered thoughts. It meant their condition was terrible—they had truly been driven into a desperate corner by this powerful Reincarnator.
As Youying and Zhuzhao looked at the greed on the Reincarnator’s face, they knew full well that, as the most vicious force in the multiverse, that special box always nurtured its subordinates through the most naked form of plunder.
Reincarnators were greedy demons who gnawed marrow from bones, vermin who ought to be exterminated the moment they appeared in the multiverse.
Otherwise, once such creatures grew stronger, they would inevitably bring immense chaos.
Bzzz!
Innate mystical light of black and white flared up. The greatest difference between high-ranking dragons and lesser races was that they were born wielding Authorities.
It was an innate gift, a blessing bestowed by the Observers and the Dragon King.
It was also a racial advantage beyond the reach of all other inferior races!
The Authority of Yin-Yang Reversal surged with incomparable intensity, its peculiar power completely throwing the surrounding magnetic field into disorder.
Bai Cangshu felt his Mantra suddenly go blank. He could sense nothing. Everything was being distorted, and the nature of all things was being inverted.
Flames began to appear in the seawater, along with lightning. The elements grew chaotic, while the slanted, sunken sea was fixed in place. The seawater even began flowing upward from below.
It was a manifestation of the laws of heaven and earth being reversed.
This Authority was indeed probably powerful enough—at least, it appeared somewhat higher-ranking than Bai Cangshu’s current Authority of Granting and Taking, as well as the Authority of Qi and Power that had yet to be unlocked upon completing its mission.
Bai Cangshu pointed again, and a Dodon Ray burst forth, piercing straight through one dragon’s head in an instant.
Yet the scene of flesh exploding never appeared. The wound began restoring itself the very next moment.
Their bodies lengthened and narrowed, eventually transforming into enormous Dragon Forms hundreds of meters long as they churned above the sea.
The black and white dragons entwined, rolling continuously before merging into one bizarre giant dragon mixed with black and white.
Moreover, it had a head at each end of its body.
Clearly, these two were probably unusual even among the Dragon Clan, a special type unlike ordinary individuals.
Of course, they could also be called "deformed freaks." Bai Cangshu thought so with no small amount of malice.
Towering mist mixed with lightning and flames rose continuously in all directions amid the violent wind.
The black-and-white two-headed dragon danced into the nine heavens, and in the next moment, black-and-white mystical light enveloped Bai Cangshu.
In an instant, Bai Cangshu felt the raging vitality inside him begin to wither. His powerful regenerative instinct was also fading, and even the stump of his severed right arm showed signs of rotting.
Bai Cangshu merely glanced at it. In the next moment, golden qi erupted even more vigorously, and the rot immediately vanished.
Bai Cangshu had long known of qi’s unique immunity properties, but the two-headed dragon’s Authority could now affect him.
That meant the more than two hundred qi he possessed under Sixfold Kaio-ken was probably only roughly on par with theirs.
Thus, he could not completely negate it.
Bai Cangshu snorted and began flying upward from the sea. Yet after rising only a few meters, he realized that space itself had been reversed.
Or rather, his actions themselves had been inverted. His attempt to fly upward had become a descent.
Flames in the seawater scorched Bai Cangshu’s body. This high-frequency assault from the flames activated his Solitary Jealousy Flame trait almost instantly.
When Bai Cangshu said these two aberrations from the Primordial Dragon Court were weak, he was not merely taunting them. He genuinely felt they were not strong enough.
The proof was that, now that he could freely control this Solitary Jealousy Flame trait, he had felt not the slightest envy toward their power.
It was only now, triggered by the flames’ scorching.
Crimson flames burned across Bai Cangshu’s body, further raising his physical attributes. With the Kaio-ken’s amplification, they became substantial values.
But this increase lasted only an instant. Then the black-and-white mystical light extinguished the flames on Bai Cangshu’s body, replacing them with black flames instead.
Bai Cangshu clicked his tongue inwardly. This Authority really is a bit too versatile…
"Boring. So incredibly boring~"
Seeing that the two dragons had no intention of fighting him head-on and instead planned to rely on their abilities until the end, Bai Cangshu’s last shred of patience was worn away.
In the next moment, dark green Spiritual Pressure spread from his body like ripples. The Black Winged Great Demon was released once more, while an almost transparent gray halo expanded outward from Bai Cangshu’s body.
Roar!
A roar that living beings could not hear came from another world.
The evil lord unique to the Spirit World revealed itself behind Bai Cangshu. A vast black shadow rose from within him and roared in the sky.
Lord of the Realm!
The hazy domain spread across several kilometers in an instant, suppressing every ability unrelated to the soul.
The chaotic elemental reactions above the sea ended at once. Flames, lightning, and violent winds vanished one after another, while the two-headed dragon dancing in the sky abruptly dropped a considerable distance.
Bai Cangshu walked step by step through the air, his terrifying physical body still intact.
Under the Lord of the Realm, a close-combat Reincarnator of the Physical System like him was barely affected. Yet these two dragons happened to be the physically fragile type.
Bai Cangshu rose onto his toes in midair. The mere gathering of his terrifying strength produced crackling explosions in the air.
Just as Bai Cangshu prepared to tear the two-headed dragon apart with his bare hands, a black-red cursed energy suddenly shot up before his eyes.
Amid sharp cracking sounds, two chains seemed to emerge from The Deep, instantly piercing through the void before appearing again in the distant emptiness.
"Ha~ So this is what it feels like to be a cursed spirit~"
"Truly… delightful!"
Satoru Gojo’s voice had completely changed, as though it carried an electronic distortion, or as if two voices were speaking at once.
