Konan’s Final Grand Prize

Shen Mo did not continue teasing Konan as she stood there with her head lowered in silence.

He was indeed looking forward to it.

Without Yahiko and Nagato, no longer obeying others and instead relying on herself to decide everything, what would Konan do?

Would she choose peace, or something more drastic?

Konan had also recovered from those emotions by then.

It had indeed been a long time since she had laughed. Yet even though she had suddenly been amused like that, once she calmed down, she quickly thought of the many matters before her.

She finished the last of the delicious food.

She looked at the empty bowl with some regret, then set it down and stood up.

"I’ll continue opening the remaining Jars, sir."

"Go ahead." Shen Mo put his sunglasses back on.

Konan seemed a little hesitant, but in the end, she took a deep breath, her gaze turning resolute.

She continued Opening Chests!

Perhaps because she did not want herself to linger over these past few days, Konan’s speed at opening Jars suddenly increased considerably.

Until the final Dragon’s Roar sounded.

Shen Mo flashed over in an instant, appearing directly beside Konan and looking at this final Grand Prize.

There were eight talismans inside.

"Eight Directions God Protection Formation." Shen Mo named the talismans. "It is a large-scale defensive barrier. You can enhance its defensive power by channeling spiritual energy into it. You can use it in the Rain Village together with the formation diagrams you opened before. The results should be quite good."

"A protective barrier?"

Konan solemnly put away the talismans.

The remaining Jars did not produce any more Grand Prizes.

In the end, among fifteen hundred Jars, there had been fourteen Grand Prizes.

She was not quite a True Emperor, but she was not terribly unlucky either.

"The Talisman Series may be powerful, but it also requires practice and replenishment from Jars." Shen Mo looked at Konan. "The more you accumulate, the stronger your combat power becomes. You should understand that very well."

"Yes." Konan nodded.

Although the Talisman Series included talismans that could be obtained directly, most of it consisted of inherited knowledge.

She still needed to keep practicing and making talismans.

The more talismans she accumulated in her hands, the stronger her combat power would become.

Now, all the Jars had been opened.

After a moment of silence, Konan looked at Shen Mo and softly said, "Sir, Konan is going to pursue her own destiny."

"I hope destiny rests in your hands." Shen Mo offered her a blessing.

Konan looked at him, seeming to purse her lips slightly. Then she held out her hands, and a sheet of paper slowly emerged, folding itself into the shape of a flower.

She raised her palm.

A faint smile appeared on her face, carrying a trace of anticipation.

Just like the smile she had worn as a child.

"Then I’ll accept it." Shen Mo smiled, reaching out to take it before waving with his other hand. "Go."

"Mm."

Konan turned around, and countless sheets of paper formed white wings behind her as she took flight.

She turned her head and glanced at Ikaros, who seemed to be bidding her farewell from nearby.

After returning the gesture, she flapped her wings and flew into the distance.

Unlike when she had arrived in despair, her heart was filled with hope as she left.

"Even in the end, she still wasn’t willing to use Nagato’s eyes." Shen Mo seemed a little regretful. Rinnegan Konan did not sound too bad, after all.

Though he had always thought the Rinnegan was a little ugly.

Then, as if he had suddenly thought of something, Shen Mo narrowed his eyes slightly.

Now that he had finished harvesting Konan, there were not many people worth watching in this world.

The older generation still needed the right opportunity if they wanted to be revived, while the other Ninja Villages appeared to still be observing.

However, Shen Mo did not intend to let them keep watching. He planned to visit them personally.

He would settle things early, then take advantage of the gap to visit other worlds.

With the Merchant Guild’s ambitions, one world could not support it.

"Let’s go, Ikaros, Hikari. We’ll probably be busy for several more days." Shen Mo waved at Ikaros, preparing to speed things up and complete the Merchant Guild’s current work in this world.

At the same time, he kept an eye on Konan.

The other villages would probably be more or less the same: make an appearance to intimidate them, sell some Jars to earn money, and establish a balance of power. But Konan’s decision would affect the current state of this world.

Konan, at this moment, did not know that she was once again being watched by someone she had just parted from.

But even if she knew, she probably would not care. After all, if Shen Mo wanted to see something, there was nothing he could not see.

Konan sent a message to every member of the Akatsuki Organization.

"Gather at the Rain Village."

She intended to properly reorganize the organization.

In fact, most of the others had already returned to the Rain Village after leaving the previous night.

As they waited patiently, the tension between them seemed to grow increasingly intense.

That night’s battle had been quite a setback for them.

Some people, such as Kakuzu and Hidan, had already begun thinking of leaving.

If the Akatsuki Organization could not help them achieve their goals, they would leave without hesitation.

When Konan returned to the base,

Everyone immediately looked toward her.

"Where is the leader?"

Kakuzu realized that Konan had returned alone.

Konan said nothing.

Her expression was as cold as ever. Her gaze swept around the room. All six of them were here.

No, there was still one more person.

"Come out. I know you’re here." Konan said coldly.

As her words fell, a figure slowly emerged from the void.

He wore a mask and a long robe.

It was Obito.

"Tobi?" Sasori stared at this trainee member in apparent disbelief, his voice low. "Was that Space-Time Ninjutsu?"

The others all became wary at once.

Space-Time Ninjutsu.

The last person to master that Ninjutsu had been the Fourth Hokage, a renowned powerhouse.

They had vaguely realized that Tobi, who had previously appeared as a trainee member, was probably not so simple.

"Looks like you didn’t bring Nagato’s corpse back." Obito Uchiha looked at the empty-handed Konan.

Both his voice and tone were completely different from Tobi’s past persona.

But what everyone cared about more at that moment were the words he had spoken.

The leader was dead?

"Is that true?" Kakuzu looked at Konan.

"It is." Konan’s gaze slowly swept around the room. "Nagato died that night."

The place seemed to fall silent all at once.

Everyone was processing the news.

For any organization, the death of its leader was an enormous matter.

"What a bore." Hidan lifted his scythe and turned around. "I thought the Rinnegan was supposed to be amazing. Let’s go, partner. We’ll make money. No need to wear these clothes anymore."

He raised a hand and flung the Akatsuki Organization robe aside.

At that moment,

Several wooden spikes suddenly burst from the ground, piercing through Hidan’s body in an instant.
