In the Original Work, Deidara defeated Gaara by himself and successfully captured him. But after hearing Tsunade's account, Richard discovered that Deidara had not been the only one to capture Gaara. According to the Sunagakure shinobi, aside from Deidara, who used Explosive Clay ninjutsu, another ninja had attacked Gaara. That ninja also wore a Red Cloud Robe and a Spiral Orange Mask.
