Kroatia Xerxes-class Starship

Xiao Hen could ‘see’ Ronan’s warship in outer space, but the people of Xandar had not yet discovered it. He wondered what method Ronan had used to shield the outer space defense mechanisms of the Nova Empire’s capital. As expected, a violent terrorist like him who dared to make trouble for Xandar had some backing indeed.

And at this time, Star-Lord and the others, the newly formed members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, should also be rushing over here from the skull of that ancient deity. Having had the Cosmic Orb snatched from them, they would not let Ronan off easily, let alone the fact that Drax had a deep, irreconcilable hatred for Ronan.

Speaking of the skull of that ancient deity, that guy was definitely once a member of the Celestial Group, a fellow even more formidable than Star-Lord’s old man. A single skull was as huge as a planet; that was a true deity—well, at the level of Xiao Hen’s tier. He wondered how it had died, to have its skull chopped off after death and treated as a resource-gathering site by a bunch of low-ability outlaws in the Milky Way Galaxy, who extracted various resources from the head and sold them. It was truly tragic.

I wonder if the Xandarians can block Ronan’s attack before the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive. Xiao Hen touched his chin. Although the plot of the Guardians of the Galaxy had undergone slight changes with his joining, he had not interfered too much, so there shouldn’t be any drastic upheaval. According to the plot, Ronan would be stalled by Xandar’s defense mechanisms until Star-Lord and the others arrived, and finally defeated by exhausting all sorts of methods.

Yet until he was defeated, Thanos still hadn’t made a move to seize the Power Stone. Xiao Hen simply didn’t believe Thanos wasn’t paying attention to matters here.

Thanos didn’t make a move to seize it, and based on my deductions over this period, there should be other existences paying attention to this stone. If I haven’t calculated wrongly, it should be one of the Guardians of the Galaxy…

A cold gleam flashed in Xiao Hen’s eyes, and his figure vanished from Xandar, reappearing only after he had returned to the Super String Space.

"Shuttle, redeem a Xerxes-class starship." He had wanted to redeem this warship for a long time. The last time he redeemed the main godhead, it cost six million plot points, and now, after accumulating for more than half a year, his plot points had reached tens of millions again. He might need this warship this time, so he prepared to redeem it first.

"Does the host confirm the redemption of the Kroatia Xerxes-class Starship?" said the shuttle.

"Confirm redemption!" said Xiao Hen.

"Six million plot points have been deducted, Kroatia Xerxes-class Starship redeemed successfully!" Just as the shuttle’s voice fell, a massive circular warship abruptly appeared within the Super String Space.

This was a circular warship with a diameter of about thirty-six hundred kilometers, a height of just over two hundred kilometers, possessing spatial jump capabilities, ultra-strong shields, and a dark energy dynamic furnace. Its weapon system similarly consisted of dark energy main cannons reaching a count of three hundred sixty, while the secondary cannons were anti-matter cannons numbering eight thousand.

The interior of the warship was divided into: main control room, armory, engine room, laboratory, maintenance room, dining area, rest area, and activity area. Except for the laboratory, which was controlled by a dedicated photonic computer, the entire warship was controlled by the photonic Central Computer in the main control room.

From this, it could be seen that the importance of the laboratory was no less than that of the main control room.

With such a massive warship, if it were just Xiao Hen alone, although he could drive it through the main computer, the area was too vast, and there would always be times of inconvenience for a single person. Therefore, although he didn’t let the Koolm people come up, he ordered hundreds of thousands of robots to come up to control the entire warship for him.

Of course, according to the permission settings of the two photonic computers, he remained the highest authority holder.

"This thing is also too huge; taking it out rashly is a bit conspicuous. If making a move here on Xandar, even a Marseille-class is too big, and a Marseille-class starship will suffice."

With that, he waved a hand, summoning the Marseille-class starship. When this warship had first been redeemed, it accompanied him as he wreaked havoc across major worlds, plundering and suppressing multiple worlds. Now, with the progress of his strength, it had also been tossed into the Super String Space to gather dust. At this moment, taking it out happened to be somewhat useful.

Outside Xandar, inside Ronan’s spaceship.

Looking at the hammer embedded with the Power Stone in his hand, Ronan wore a smile full of madness. "Hahaha, I didn’t expect that while The Collector was collecting Infinity Stones for Thanos, he would end up being blown to death by this stone. As expected, only I, Ronan, am the true master of the stone. Xandarians, your doom has arrived."

Ronan personally led the team to the skull of the ancient deity, tracking Star-Lord and the others all the way. His purpose was none other than the Cosmic Orb; the things Thanos wanted to acquire were definitely not simple. After understanding the might of the Infinity Stones through secret means, Ronan had harbored rebellious intentions, originally intending to rush to snatch it before The Collector bought the Cosmic Orb. He hadn’t expected that when he arrived at the place, he would see The Collector blown to death by the power of the Power Stone. It was truly heaven assisting him, as he had only expended a tiny bit of effort to snatch this stone. Seeing that his deep revenge was about to be avenged, he had no reason not to be happy.

"Lord, we are already approaching Xandar, but according to scans, Xandar has already begun deploying defenses. We should have been discovered already!" Nebula, with her blue skin, walked over and interrupted Ronan’s fantasy.

"How could it be so fast? Wasn’t it supposed to be able to shield for a while longer?" asked Ronan with a frown.

"There is a ship behind us constantly approaching. Judging by the model, it should be that bunch of Ravagers!" Nebula looked at the computer in her hand and said, "The information about our arrival should have been leaked to Xandar by them."

"Damned fellows, a bunch of stinking dog-shit!" Ronan was in no mood to play with Star-Lord and them right now; his goal was to destroy Xandar. If he had been uncertain before, now with the Infinity Stone, he was only a step away from destroying Xandar.

"The enemy has already released carrier-based fighters and launched an attack on us," said Nebula hurriedly.

"Hmph! Relying on our spaceship’s shields, carrier-based fighters simply cannot break through! Pay them no mind. Accelerate toward Xandar!" Ronan could clearly see the scenery on Xandar from the radar detector; Xandar was already close at hand.

"Understood!"

Aboard the warship where Star-Lord and the others were, a group of people were gathered.

"Yondu, after finishing this time, you can go back and retire!" Star-Lord was fully dressed and preparing to set off. The Infinity Stone had been lost from their hands, which caused the current situation, and they, the Guardians of the Galaxy, had the responsibility to retrieve it.

"Talking nonsense, this old man wants to work a few more years!" As Star-Lord’s foster father, Yondu had obeyed Star-Lord’s father’s orders to take him from Earth to the Milky Way Galaxy to raise him. He usually appeared very stern and scolding toward Star-Lord, but in reality, he cared about him very much. Helping Star-Lord pursue Ronan at this moment also entailed taking a huge risk.

"Quill, let’s go!" said Gamora, having already walked into a fighter craft, flying the fighter out of the warship and soaring toward Ronan’s warship ahead.

Ronan’s warship was not small, being over a dozen kilometers long, black in exterior, and looking exceptionally ferocious, much like a bat.

"I’m coming." Star-Lord followed by piloting a fighter out. Seeing this, Yondu looked worriedly at his retreating figure, then walked into the main control room with a solemn expression and began directing his subordinates to attack.

And at this moment on Xandar, the planetary garrison had also begun to busy themselves. Perhaps having previously received Star-Lord’s warning, most people did not believe the words of this scoundrel, punk, and thief. However, with the planet’s safety at stake, quite a few people’s vigilance spiked. Seeing at this moment that Ronan was truly driving a warship to ram toward Xandar, they couldn’t help but arm themselves to the teeth, preparing to meet the enemy.
