Let Me Borrow the Stones for Fun

Erlang Shen Yang Jian was the next creation Chen Mu planned to make using the system’s production space.

Well, "manufacture" was not quite the right word. "Shape" would be more accurate.

The Celestial Race was currently China’s most elite fighting force. Nezha was undoubtedly the strongest person in China at present. If he unleashed all his power, no one on Earth could withstand him!

Even Ancient One would be no exception!

"What have you decided?"

Nezha looked at Chen Mu with curiosity, utterly puzzled.

"Nothing."

Chen Mu smiled and did not tell Nezha directly about his plans for Yang Jian. He intended to tell him once Yang Jian had been shaped.

"By the way, what did you come to see me for?"

Nezha spent his days studying. He had finally gotten a chance to blow off some steam in New York a few days ago, so Chen Mu had no idea what he wanted now.

"Um, Mu-ge, the Space Stone is with you, right?"

Nezha wore a rare ingratiating expression and said fawningly, "Can I borrow the Space Stone to play with?"

"Earth is too boring. The world is so big—I want to go out and see it."

"…"

What the hell did he mean, the world was so big?!

"You want to skip your homework, don’t you?"

One look at Nezha was enough for Chen Mu to see through his plan.

Heh, Chen Mu had been there himself!

"Since the country will soon launch the Pioneer Plan among civilians, I’m just scouting things out in advance!"

Nezha spoke with righteous conviction. "The universe holds too many unknowns for China."

Although Asgard had basically told China everything it knew about the universe, China had never seen it with its own eyes, so it was still filled with unknowns.

And now, rapidly developing China was already planning to mobilize civilian forces to explore the vast universe, providing spacecraft through interest-free loans.

Namely, the Qing Luan Fighter.

Do not underestimate the Qing Luan Fighter. It had been built as a Space Fighter from the start, equipped with spatial jump technology and a lightspeed engine, granting it the ability to travel through space. It was even more advanced than the Guardians of the Galaxy’s Milan!

It could carry up to ten crew members. Thanks to spatial expansion, it could bring plenty of supplies, so there was no need to worry about long journeys.

Of course, while it officially had ten seats, the interior was quite spacious. Cramming in another ten or twenty people would not be a problem. With the Mirror Dimension’s expansion, well, it could even fit an entire regiment—as long as they did not mind being crowded…

Naturally, not everyone qualified to buy a Qing Luan Fighter on loan. First, they had to possess considerable strength. The captains of the first group of explorers would be selected from young graduates of the Magic-Martial School.

Developing the universe’s resources required energetic young people. Magic-Martial School graduates already possessed formidable magical abilities, and with the crew members they recruited, they would surely accomplish great things!

Of course, the explorers’ main task was still to seek resources in outer space. As far as China was concerned, one could never have too many resources.

"We need a pioneer, and without question, I am the perfect man for this responsibility!"

Nezha looked spirited and ambitious. More importantly, though, he was truly fed up with school. The battle in New York had stirred up his fighting spirit, and he wanted adventure—he longed for a life filled with uncertainty and excitement!

"I’ll think about it."

Chen Mu rubbed his chin. He had sent Nezha to school mainly to make his life fuller and more fulfilling. As for whether he actually learned anything, Chen Mu did not care all that much. After all, in this Marvel World, strength was what mattered most!

So letting Nezha go out and explore was not impossible.

"I know the Space Stone from World One is in your hands too, so don’t be so stingy."

Nezha smacked his lips and looked at Chen Mu expectantly. "Give me a Space Stone."

"…"

Chen Mu was speechless, but he still nodded. "No problem, but not until two months from now."

As he spoke, Chen Mu made a few adjustments to Yang Jian’s appearance in the system. His prototype was Erlang Shen portrayed by Jiao Enjun, though he looked about Nezha’s age, around eighteen.

He was a standard handsome Eastern youth, dignified and striking, with sharp features and bright, spirited eyes. A pattern lay upon his forehead, where the Mind Stone would be placed. It would also be Erlang Shen Yang Jian’s Heavenly Eye.

"Two months? No problem!"

Nezha thought it over and had no objections.

"During that time, you can find some teammates. You can set out together in the spacecraft when the time comes. When you’re away from home, having a few people to look out for each other is pretty good."

For some reason, Chen Mu now sounded like an old mother sending her child off on a long journey, nagging endlessly until Nezha’s face darkened.

"Alright, alright, no problem!"

Nezha waved his hand, finding Chen Mu rather long-winded. With the Space Stone, he could return to Earth at any time. What was there to keep reminding him about?

If they were leaving in two months, then two months it was. It was not a big problem. Nezha could wait!

"I’ll introduce you to a friend then."

Seeing that Nezha seemed a little impatient, Chen Mu shrugged and did not continue the subject.

Shaping a member of the Celestial Race would take two months, which was not too long.

During those two months, he could also study some other things.

For example, the Space Stone Nezha wanted right now.

Like the Mind Stone, this thing was not simple either.

"Keep the music going, keep dancing…"

Just then, Chen Mu’s phone rang. He picked it up from the nearby table and saw an unknown number. Without a second thought, he hung up.

Other than the handful of people who knew his number, the only ones who could call Chen Mu were people who thought their skills were impressive enough to crack it, such as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents or someone like Tony Stark.

As for spam calls, there was no way they could get through to Chen Mu at all!

Could anything good possibly come from these people calling him?

With no name displayed, it was most likely one of those familiar S.H.I.E.L.D. people. Chen Mu could more or less guess who it was. Other than Motherfucker Nick Fury, who else would call him?

Chen Mu had never gone out of his way to protect his phone number. There was simply no need. You could make all the calls you wanted—he just would not answer.

What could you do about it?

"So baby, say more sweet words. If you miss me, look at me one more time…"

The phone rang again. Chen Mu shut it off directly. Little punk, did he really think Chen Mu could not handle him?

"Someone’s coming."

Nezha frowned and looked into the distance. Squinting his eyes, he summoned the Wind Fire Wheels and flew straight out the window toward the distance.

"Captain Marvel?"
