Lin Ge

October 15th.

Imperial Capital, Film City.

"Cut!"

"The expression is too exaggerated, and the movements are a bit off. Adjust it, and let's shoot it again."

Luo Xiao looked at the footage on the camera monitor and frowned slightly.

Hearing Luo Xiao's words, all the filming crew members quickly adjusted the camera positions, preparing to reshoot.

The actor in front of the lens adjusted his state again without any complaints. At the same time, he adjusted his movements himself, ensured there were no issues, took a deep breath, and nodded at Luo Xiao to signal that he was ready.

Seeing this, Luo Xiao picked up the megaphone.

"Lighting ready. Scene 15, Shot 7, Take 3, action!"

As Luo Xiao finished speaking, all the cameras were pointed at the actor in front.

The actor in front quickly got into character and began performing according to the script's flow.

A while later, as the final action was completed, this take came to an end.

Luo Xiao carefully watched the footage, nodded slightly, picked up the megaphone, and shouted.

"Scene 15, Shot 7, Take 3, approved."

"Everyone, take a break. We'll start the next scene in 20 minutes. Actors for the next scene, get ready."

Hearing Luo Xiao's words, everyone on set let out a sigh of relief.

Especially the actor who had just been filming; upon hearing Luo Xiao's words, he finally relaxed completely.

He was from the Shanghai Theater Academy. When the [wandering blue star] crew went to the Shanghai Theater Academy to recruit, he was lucky enough to be selected.

His part wasn't big, but this was his first time in a movie.

Therefore, he cherished this opportunity very much and didn't want to perform poorly, get looked down upon by the director, and end up being cut.

So whenever he had to do multiple takes, he felt very nervous.

"Good performance, keep it up."

While he was lost in thought, a familiar voice came from beside him, and a bottle of water appeared in front of his eyes.

Lin Ge turned his head and saw that Director Luo Xiao was already standing beside him.

"Th-thank you, Director Luo."

He took the water from Luo Xiao, feeling flattered and excited. Was Director Luo encouraging him just now?

"If you want to thank me, just work hard on improving your acting skills. Because of the script this time, there wasn't a role that was perfectly suited for you, so I only arranged a role with limited screen time for you. But don't be discouraged; I think highly of you, so even if the part is small, you should still work on honing your acting."

Luo Xiao patted Lin Ge on the shoulder with a smile on his lips.

He had noticed Lin Ge when he went to Shanghai to select actors. What attracted him initially wasn't Lin Ge's acting, but his appearance.

That kind of handsomeness had a heroic quality. If he wore ancient-style clothing and held a long sword, he would absolutely be a swordsman wandering the martial arts world.

But that youthful face also gave him an ethereal, immortal quality.

When he first saw him, he had an idea: to recruit this person to Lanpian Film and Television.

Although the current role in [wandering blue star] wasn't quite suitable for him, one day there would be a movie or TV series that would be.

Besides, just based on his appearance, if his acting skills were to improve further, he would definitely be in high demand in the entertainment industry.

So, during the recruitment process, he basically didn't even evaluate him much and just directly recruited Lin Ge into the crew.

Because no matter how you looked at it, recruiting Lin Ge to Lanpian Film and Television was not a losing deal.

"I know, Director Luo. I will work hard to improve my acting skills."

Lin Ge listened to Luo Xiao's encouragement and nodded earnestly.

"That's good. Your scenes for today are finished, so you can take a break. Also, I think you have good potential, and I would like to invite you to join Lanpian Film and Television. As for the benefits and compensation, they are the same as Jiang Xue, Su Tang, and others who have joined Lanpian Film and Television. There won't be any difference; this is very transparent."

"Of course, what kind of treatment you receive in the future will depend on your own abilities."

Luo Xiao smiled and stated his purpose directly.

"Really, General Manager Luo?"

Lin Ge was shocked to hear Luo Xiao's words.

Among the actors currently filming in the [wandering blue star] crew, excluding the few who had already joined Lanpian Film and Television, whether they were from the Shanghai Theater Academy or the extras hired, the biggest goal for everyone was to join Lanpian Film and Television.

The students from the Shanghai Theater Academy envied Jiang Xue, Su Tang, and the others who had joined Lanpian Film and Television while filming [demon subduing record]. Not to mention the pay, just the fact that after finishing [demon subduing record], there would immediately be other movies waiting for them.

Furthermore, whenever Lanpian Film and Television filmed a movie, they would always select actors from their own company first.

This was a point they were very envious of, as it meant that as long as they joined Lanpian Film and Television, they would basically never have to worry about not having movies to act in due to a lack of fame.

And after joining Lanpian Film and Television, this concern would be completely resolved.

How could they not be tempted?

As for the extras, who wouldn't want to join a film company and become a formal actor?

Moreover, after an extra named Wang Qiang joined Lanpian Film and Television, he had now even gone to another crew to be a lead actor. How could that not excite the extras?

Even now, there was a large group of extras waiting outside the set, hoping to be allowed in as extras.

Their biggest hope was to be spotted by Director Luo and subsequently join Lanpian Film and Television.

And just when everyone was hoping to join Lanpian Film and Television, he was the first to receive an invitation from Lanpian Film and Television. How could he not be shocked?

"It is naturally true. Think about it carefully, and just give me an answer in the next two days."

Luo Xiao looked at Lin Ge, smiled, and then turned and walked away.

"Director Luo, I have already decided. I choose to join Lanpian Film and Television."

Seeing Luo Xiao turn to leave, Lin Ge quickly replied. What was there to consider? So he agreed without even thinking.

Hearing this, Luo Xiao paused, turned to look at Lin Ge, and spoke calmly.

"Since you've already decided, then come to my Room to find me tonight."

"Alright, Director Luo."

Lin Ge nodded, looking excited.

Luo Xiao smiled faintly and turned to leave.

At this time, the crew was still preparing, and it would take about 10 more minutes until filming, so he went to a nearby canopy and found a seat to sit down.

"Brother Xiao, what did Lin Ge say?"

Wang Bin walked over from a distance.

He had seen from afar that Luo Xiao went to find Lin Ge, and he knew without having to think that Luo Xiao went to invite Lin Ge to join Lanpian Film and Television.

He also thought very highly of Lin Ge; that appearance was right there, and it was an innate advantage.

Not to mention his acting skills; after all, he was a graduate of the Shanghai Theater Academy. Coupled with future training, there was no need to worry too much about his acting.

With the innate condition of his appearance, plus solid acting skills, his potential must be very high.

"Hmm, he has already agreed."

Luo Xiao nodded and turned to look at Wang Bin, who was walking over.

"How are things over at Banana TV?"

Wang Bin's scenes for this morning had already been filmed, and today happened to be the day [demon subduing record] was released on Banana TV, so he had assigned this matter to Wang Bin.

Now that Wang Bin was coming over, there should be some results.
