Lots of treasures

Qin Ming asked, "Where have all the Martial Artists on the tower gone now?"

The Martial Artist in the black long robe was taken aback; this question was a bit strange. Had this Martial King only just entered the Secret Realm?

"Replying to My Lord, most of the Martial Artists currently in the tower are on the seventh floor. The treasures below the seventh floor have been thoroughly scavenged, with only a few scattered Martial Artists still remaining below the seventh floor."

Qin Ming nodded. "Tell me about what happened after entering the tower."

"My Lord, I entered the Secret Realm later on, so I'm not clear about the initial situation of the tower," the black-robed Martial Artist replied. "I only know that it took many Martial Kings three months to break through the sixth floor, and quite a few Martial Artists died."

"Tell me in detail how the Martial Kings on the sixth floor died." Qin Ming understood clearly now; this tower indeed had traps. The higher the floor, the more traps there should be, and the greater their Power.

This was because those with higher status lived higher up.

Naturally, the quality of the treasures was also better the higher one went.

Speaking of the deaths of the Martial Artists on the sixth floor, the black-robed Martial Artist's voice trembled slightly. "Puppets—a vast number of Puppets. They weren't afraid of death and didn't know pain."

"And with traps everywhere, many of us died."

"Puppets?" Qin Ming lowered his head in contemplation.

He knew that Puppet technology was very Advanced during the Ancient era, but this technology had since been lost. Even if Puppets occasionally appeared on the continent now, they were low-tier Puppets of little use.

In the Ancient era, there were Advanced Puppets, and some even possessed Souls. If there were a Martial Emperor-level Puppet, then no matter how many people attacked, it would be impossible to breach the tower.

Shaking his head, Qin Ming felt it was impossible for a Martial Emperor-level Puppet to exist in this Secret Realm, let alone a Puppet with a Soul.

How precious a Martial Emperor-level Puppet was! It wasn't something this small Secret Realm could possess. Even in a perilous Martial God Secret Realm, Martial Emperor Puppets were rare.

As for Soul Puppets, which were even more precious than Martial Emperor Puppets, they were generally the control cores that managed an entire Secret Realm. If such a Puppet existed in this Secret Realm, it would be impossible for them to even enter.

However, even ordinary Martial King-level Puppets were enough to give these Martial Artists a headache.

Smiling, Qin Ming asked, "Are the casualties among those Powers heavy?"

"Heavy. Regardless of the Power, the casualties are quite significant," the black-robed Martial Artist said. "Especially the Fifth Prince's Power; they originally had over eighty Martial Kings, but now only forty-some remain. They've lost nearly half their manpower."

"However…"

"However what?" Qin Ming had a strong impression of the Fifth Prince. Although he seemed foolish, someone who could become a prince and be appointed to lead a group to explore a Secret Realm was definitely not as simple as he appeared on the surface.

There was a hint of envy in the black-robed Martial Artist's eyes. "The Fifth Prince obtained many treasures. Besides countless Top-Grade Spirit Stones and high-tier spirit plants, I heard he also obtained a bottle of ninth-grade elixirs."

Qin Ming smiled faintly. In an Ancient Secret Realm of this level, most ninth-grade elixirs found would be Low Grade. Furthermore, in the Ancient era, a bottle of ninth-grade elixirs usually contained five pills at most.

He didn't care for such a small amount of pills at all.

However, the acquisition of many Top-Grade Spirit Stones and high-tier spirit plants did pique Qin Ming's interest.

One should know that in such Ancient Secret Realms, precious spirit plants rarely seen outside were often cultivated.

The Martial Artists of the entire Yuan Continent would not know how to use these spirit plants to refine Medicinal Pills.

They would only study the properties of the spirit plants and then consume them directly.
