Malcador, You’ve Changed

The vast battlefield fell silent.

Raynor, Tychus, and the others stared at Raven in stunned disbelief.

Whose general was this, to be so ferocious?

Even as enemies, they would not have dared speak to Amon like that.

After all, he was a terrifying evil god with the power to destroy worlds.

There was no being in the entire universe capable of defeating him.

"Another one looking to die."

Amon’s countless eyes blinked at once.

His terrifying voice echoed across Nordryn, filling countless living beings with fear and making them tremble.

"Ugly freak, don’t talk so arrogantly. Believe it or not, I’ll get someone to beat you up."

Raven shouted.

"Get the hell out of here now, or you’ll regret it."

Kerrigan went numb in an instant. She looked at Malcador with wide eyes.

This was the helper you found?

Wasn’t this a little too arrogant?!

"Raven, you could actually tone it down a little."

Malcador said uneasily.

Amon possessed world-destroying power and was incomparably strong.

He also had countless minions.

If they truly enraged him, he could reduce them to ashes in an instant and condemn them to eternal reincarnation.

Raven raised his head. "Tone it down? When has Raven ever lowered his head? And you’re telling me to tone it down?"

"Isn’t he just an ugly freak? What’s there to fear? If he dares mess with us, we’ll turn him into canned octopus. He has so many tentacles anyway."

"If you don’t accept that, then fight me, ugly freak."

Amon’s body trembled with rage.

Even a bird dared to be this arrogant.

"Good. Very good. Excellent."

The countless eyes on Amon’s bloated body blinked at once, while countless mouths spoke simultaneously.

Anyone could hear the fury in his words.

The atmosphere was suffocatingly oppressive.

Kerrigan wore an expression of utter despair.

It seemed they were definitely going to die.

Amon would surely grind their bones to dust and shred even their souls.

Artanis rubbed his forehead, considering what he should say when it came time to die.

"Ugly freak." Raven shouted again.

"Die."

Amon did not waste another word. He swung a tentacle down at Raven.

That tentacle was covered in mouths full of sharp teeth, constantly emitting piercing, hungry howls.

The tentacle was incomparably massive, blotting out the sky. Wherever it passed, space and time shattered completely.

It descended upon Raven, descended upon Nordryn, determined to destroy both the world and Raven together.

Despair appeared on everyone’s faces.

Such immense power was beyond their ability to resist.

Yet Raven showed no fear. He raised his head and said, "You’d better be able to kill me. Otherwise, you’ll be in deep trouble."

Hatred filled Amon’s countless eyes as they stared fixedly at Raven, leaving that fellow no chance to escape.

At that moment, a young man stepped through space and time, reversed the river of fate, and arrived in an instant from a distant place. He stood atop a great cauldron, his entire body shrouded in chaotic radiance.

With a wave of his hands, twin fish of yin and yang appeared and blocked Amon’s descending tentacle.

"A mere ant dares to be so presumptuous."

The young man’s tone was icy as he formed a Dao seal with his hands.

In an instant, the fire of the Great Dao surged forth and burned that enormous tentacle to ashes.

Amon let out a shrill scream.

His countless eyes stared at the young man standing atop the cauldron, revealing fear and confusion.

Where had this fellow come from, and why did he possess such terrifying power?

What unsettled Amon even more was the intense fighting spirit and unimaginable killing intent radiating from him.

He gave off the impression of an unparalleled god of slaughter returning from an endless battlefield.

Or a manifestation of death walking out from mountains of corpses and seas of blood.

What kind of world could nurture such murderous aura?!

"Come on, little punk. Hit me."

Raven’s smug voice rang out, once again breaking Amon’s composure and making him tremble with rage.

That damned bird!!

Amon’s body began expanding without limit.

The entire universe groaned in agony beneath his pressure.

"Big bro, don’t be so arrogant. If Little Ye can’t stop him later, you’re finished."

A dog with glossy black fur tore open space and leaped out.

It was the Black Emperor, who had once scammed half the universe together with Raven and been chased all the way back to the Big Dipper.

When Raven went to seek reinforcements, he could not sit still and had followed along to join the fun, wanting to see the sights of the Other Universe.

After all, he had spent every day wandering around his own universe, seeing nothing but cultivation, cultivation, cultivation until he was sick of it.

So he especially wanted to see what other universes were like.

It was not just the Black Emperor. The others had run off as well.

But their strength was limited, so they had not come to the StarCraft universe and had gone elsewhere instead.

One particularly unscrupulous Daoist had even run off to excavate civilization ruins in a newly discovered universe of the Human Empire.

"Those guys have already noticed us. Ye and the others are confronting them outside. We need to leave quickly," the Black Emperor urged.

Raven looked at Amon. "We’re a little pressed for time today, so I’ll let you off."

"The next time I see an ugly freak like you, I won’t be so easygoing."

"You want to leave? Dream on." Amon’s tentacles shot out violently and sank into the void, sealing all space and time.

He had already corrupted every living being, as well as space and time itself, throughout the universe.

He had gained the empowerment of the entire universe’s power.

If he did not want Raven to leave, then Raven could not leave.

However, he had underestimated the helpers Raven had summoned.

The young man standing atop the cauldron gave a soft shout and transformed into a giant millions of meters tall.

Then he grabbed the giant cauldron, which emanated the primal mother energy of myriad origins, and smashed it down at Amon.

High-end battles often used the simplest methods.

There were no flashy tricks, only simple and decisive moves.

Anyone who saw that scene would have called it brutal.

Once, twice, three times.

Every strike of the great cauldron carried terrifying power, as though ten billion supergiant stars had exploded at once.

Space and time shattered, the Great Dao collapsed, and the stars trembled. Those too close were directly blown into fragments.

Even the universe shook, cracks appearing one after another as though it were about to collapse completely.

Amon let out shrill screams.

He was utterly dazed by the beating.

The other party’s strength was no weaker than his own, even with the empowerment of the entire universe.

Even with the enhancement of the corruption source, he could not withstand such full-force blows.

"Why haven’t you left yet?"

Space and time tore open, and Aeon appeared in the boundless void.

He too transformed into a giant millions of meters tall.

His entire body was shrouded in light, and he held a world-destroying spear coiled by a golden divine dragon.

"I’ll beat this guy to death and open the way first."

The young man wielding the cauldron spoke calmly.

As though killing a world-destroying god was merely an ordinary matter.

"This bastard still dares block our way? Kill him."

Aeon was not surprised. Instead, he raised his dragon spear and attacked Amon alongside the young man wielding the cauldron.

Amon had already fallen into a disadvantage against the young man wielding the cauldron, beaten until he howled.

Now Aeon had joined in as well.

The scene became even more brutal.

Amon’s massive body was smashed apart again and again.

Then he restored himself with his immortal power, only to be smashed apart again, over and over.

Amon roared endlessly, yet he could never overcome the two working together and was pinned down for a merciless beating.

"This filthy universe no longer needs to be preserved. Burn it away directly."

Another creator-level being appeared.

His body was equally enormous, with stars like tiny beads at his fingertips.

The wings behind him surged with infinite power.

The newcomer was Noah Ultraman, creator of the Ultra Universe.

The laws of the Ultra Universe had been created by Noah, and even those dark monsters had been intentionally placed there by him.

It was all meant to temper the new generation of Ultraman.

To let those Ultraman slowly grow stronger and evolve into his helpers.

Noah rarely appeared in the Ultra Universe.

But after the Land of Light signed an agreement with the Human Empire, he began paying attention to the Human Empire as well.

When Raven came knocking to ask for help, Noah readily agreed.

He also wanted to use Raven as a bridge to form an alliance with other creators, or learn from their paths and go even farther himself.

Noah shifted into his destruction form.

The wings on his back ignited with flames, which rapidly spread across his body.

With a casual wave of his hand, he released beams of destruction that ignited the entire corrupted universe.

The flesh growing throughout the void writhed and howled in pain before finally burning to ashes.

"No!" Despair appeared on Amon’s face.

How had so many powerful beings appeared all at once?

Every one of them possessed power far beyond his own.

He could not even defeat one of them.

Now three were attacking him together.

What monstrous crime had he committed?!

He had only wanted to destroy a world. What was wrong with that?!

"I may not be good at fighting, but I can call people over, idiot. You still thought you could mouth off to me? You really don’t know your place."

Raven shouted smugly.

"Come on, keep trying to kill me! Ugly freak!"

Amon looked at Raven, so furious that he wanted to curse out loud.

Why was this bird so damn irritating?!

However, before he could speak.

The young man raised the cauldron again, the one capable of smashing apart the entire universe, and hurled it down at him.

Boom!

With a terrifying blast, Amon’s entire body exploded into pieces.

"Hahahaha." Raven burst out laughing and cursed again, "The ugly freak got flattened."

Amon: "."

After living for so long, he hated a bird to the bone for the first time.

"I used to think Little Ye and I had foul mouths, but now I see you’re the real savage."

The Black Emperor spoke quietly.

"Alright, while that guy is being beaten and has loosened his spatial-temporal confinement, let’s open a spatial-temporal passage and leave first."

The Black Emperor looked at Raven.

Raven nodded and opened his beak, spitting out a brilliant radiance that opened an incomparably vast spatial-temporal passage, large enough for an entire planet to pass through.

"Ugly freak."

After hurling one final insult, Raven swept up all of Nordryn and entered the cross-temporal passage.

"All Daos perish."

The young man holding the cauldron let out a furious roar.

In an instant, the giant cauldron erupted with boundless divine light, radiating an aura capable of destroying all things.

The laws of the universe completely collapsed and began to burn.

Aeon and Noah each unleashed power capable of bringing about the destruction of the universe.

Their bodies glowed brighter than billions of stars.

In an instant, the corrupted stars exploded.

Countless twisted creatures were destroyed amid screams.

The cosmic order rapidly crumbled, and space-time began to collapse, heading toward utter destruction.

If one observed from outside the universe, one would see the boundless cosmos rapidly collapsing and breaking apart, heading toward total destruction.

Amon wore a look of despair.

It was swept along by the universe’s destruction toward eternal death.

It struggled with all its might to resist this fate, but against the combined forces of three supreme beings, all its struggles were futile.

It could only watch helplessly as it, along with the entire universe, was utterly destroyed.

Meanwhile, in the void, the Emperor and the others were fighting the source of corruption.

They discovered the Emperor and the others’ actions, but the moment they tried to enter the universe and join the battle, they were intercepted.

The void was unlike the real universe, where one could clearly witness both sides colliding and see all things perish.

In the void, everything people saw was based on their own understanding.

For example, what the Black Emperor saw was a group of beings with supreme power exchanging blows, shattering the unformed universe with their battle.

What Raynor and Tychus saw was a group of well-trained special forces fighting a giant monster at the bottom of a lake.

What Raven saw was a group of people and beasts fighting barehanded, locked in an even struggle.

No matter what, the source of corruption failed to gain any advantage.

Raven easily left the interstellar universe and headed for the Ultraman universe.

Kerrigan and the others merely felt their vision blur before everything went black, and they lost consciousness.

The constants of different universes varied slightly.

Those crossing over for the first time would experience some discomfort; in severe cases, they would fall unconscious while waiting for their bodies to adapt.

After being unconscious for most of the day, they slowly woke up.

"From now on, this will be your home."

Raven said to Kerrigan, Raynor, and the others.

They had arrived in the void, and even the nearest star was dozens of light-years away.

Thus, when Kerrigan looked up at the stars, she saw a velvet-black night sky.

There were no terrifying monsters, only bright, pure stars.

This was no longer that terrifying homeland.

"Is the nightmare finally over?" Kerrigan murmured to herself.

"To see such a pure starry sky once again."

Artanis reached out toward the stars, a nostalgic expression on his face.

He had already forgotten when he had last seen a pure starry sky.

"I told you we should take a gamble. See? We hit the jackpot." Tychus lit a cigar and started showing off.

"Save it," Raynor said, nudging his brother. "A lot of people died in this war. This isn’t the time to celebrate."

"We need to restore order as quickly as possible and rebuild our home in this new universe."

Artanis opened a warp gate and headed for the city.

The others left one after another as well.

Having just crossed into a new universe, they had many matters to arrange.

Kerrigan stayed behind.

As a Xel’Naga and Nordryn’s god, there was much work she did not need to concern herself with.

"Mal, wasn’t I a real friend to you?!"

Raven landed on Malcador’s shoulder.

"The moment I heard something had happened to you, I couldn’t eat or sleep. I tossed and turned all night. Even fries tasted bland, and I searched everywhere for someone to save you."

Hearing that, Malcador pondered for a moment before asking,

"So even when I was missing, you could still eat fries?!"

Raven, who had been wearing a mournful expression and lamenting his misery, instantly widened his eyes.

Hey! Hey!

Shouldn’t you be weeping with gratitude and shouting that you’d definitely compensate me properly??

How could you ask such a cold and pointed question?

Malcador, you’ve really changed.

You weren’t like this before!!
